Is shall be down until it is up. This is a holiday weekend and perhaps planned family activities will take a priority. Eat well. Hotdogs, hamburgers, baseball, and fireworks are a better choice for today than TWC (apologies to our foreign friends). :2thumbsup:

The lack of any news is frustrating its hard to believe the administrators of TWC don't have access to other forums.

Is it just routine maintenance of TWC or is there a major problem.

It would be nice to know.

Did we take the gift we call TWC for granted, became greedy and were punished for it in return? If all this is true, then perhaps we should make a sacrifice to the TWC Gods to please them.

But what could we possible sacrifice? All we have is each other...... yes each other. This was obviously meant to be, the Gods demand a human sacrifice, they want to see the blood flow.
No! How could I think like this, I can't go around sacrificing my fellow victims, that's immoral.....

maybe just a few, it will be for the greater good, nobody will notice if a few went gone missing right?

Though it is not the end of the world it is annoying not to be able to talk to members of my mod team(s).

Day 6; 2:32 PM I feel a sudden sadness rush over me while i have an epiphany while playing MTW2, I might Never make it back to MTW2 to upload a mod i recently made, i feel a hole widening in my soul, soon to be ripped in half.

Day 6: 2:11 AM Can't sleep maybe I'm having a withdrawal. Is it the thought of FSU'in in all the TW games that i'm missing or is it that something so perfect is just torn away from us all, Maybe there is a TWC god, how would i pray? Offer the French to him as a sacrifice? i would love that but without TWC i can't give an AAR which ruins it. When will the torment end!?!?

While you're here, feel free to take a look around. The locals are friendly and Kukri has free beer and hotdogs for all of you! He also knows EVERYTHING about ALL totalwar mods and he is perfectly up to date about the situation at the TWC. Just drop him a few pm's a day, he'll be glad to help you out! He also knows everything about women and relationships. In fact, you can pm him about everything and he'll reply within 15 minutes with the answer you were always looking for since the day you were born. He's our local hero.

What is difered here from TWC is that anyone can not a preview announcement when he wants to...:no::help:
Also the hosted M2TW mods are still the same since i 1st registered here three years ago.:shame:

GrnEyedDvl and Simetrical are the server guys. I can maintain parts of the TWC virtual world, but if there are RW problems, they're the ones we rely on. Sim is desperately trying to recruit more techies, but not many people outside specialist forums have the necessary level of expertise.

What ho old bean,yes I am sure GED and Sim are on the case and all that. Hopefully it wont be too long before TWC is up and running again.
And one hopes the new server that was purchased will prevent such occurrences, luckily enough they aren't too often though.

Agreed. TW.org was my TW site of preference way back in the good old Shogun and MTW days. Perhaps if we spent a bit more time here, we can expand the NTW content here. Great TW folks hang out here!

Anyone know if the TW admins tried sacrifices yet? If they haven't , I 'd suggest they begin with sacrificing small inanimate objects , and then proceed up the ladder , until that forum gets up again.:smartass2:
