Not really, the Mafia are purposefully attempting to "look innocent", thus they will attempt to do the obvious non-action, such as massive bets. It would buy them enough "town cred" to last a while, while on the otherhand, the town would be spending nights having protection or not.
But if the Mafia uses most of their credits in these first days, then they'll lose any ability of saving themselves from lynches later on, by not having the points necessary to shift lynches around. Assuming the three Mafia can't each kill one (Making 3 kills per night until one of them is found), as that would be severely unbalanced for the Mafia in a small Mafia game, it would be a stupid mistake they'd make.Quote:
