Janice walks into the room, followed by two men, one an older gentleman and one younger, obviously a rookie.

"Evening folks, mmm I smell donuts? You got two more men, this is Edgar Dashwood." The older man gives a barely perceptible nod. "Life and soul of the party as you see. And this nervous young chap is Brogan Boru, play nice you guys. Oh Lieutenant, message from the Commander. He has asked me to tell you you can promote somebody to sergeant. Let me know who you want and I'll get the paperwork to him."

Reed pops her head around the corner.

I do believe the Lt. is off doing some important (RL) duties atm.

"Your promotion request has been approved Lieutenant Hamaguchi, congratulations Tunney, you are now the Shift C sergeant. I guess the original guys weren't good enough for you Tsukika?" she said with a wink.

I suppose there's a lot of paperwork to be done. Maybe some filing? I drove a forklift for a Jo-Ann Fabrics distribution center at my last job, so I've got a pretty extensive set of organizational skills. And what's the policy on using the coffee maker? Is there someone who handles that full-time, or does whoever takes the last cup have to refill the pot? And do we have Splenda? What about cream? I prefer milk, but I can supply my own if the office doesn't keep it stocked. Where is the fridge, by the way?

24 hours left. So yeah, some discussion would be nice. If Renata is going to be offline, should we promote Stildawn to Lieutenant and have him appoint a new sergeant?

Well, if anyone wants to go on patrol tonight, I'd be happy to back them up. I'd love to learn how some real police work is done!

We should make a backup plan should Renata not come back.

Stildawn could be promoted to Acting Lieutenant and somebody else Acting Sergeant until Renata gets her laptop sorted.
