2.2.
I'll be playing as the Epirotes
THese were just some quick fixes vartan could do himself. The rest will be done later.
Spoiler: There probably won't be a v2.2. That means future changes are looking to be a drastic deviation and as gg2 mentioned, a ways of making obsolete all gameplay rules.
3.0?
Yep.
NICE :D
Update: Mounted general's bodyguard units do not count toward any limits (i.e., cavalry and heavy cavalry limits).
The first match has been played, my brave greeks repelled the evil romans from vega ;-)

Come on guys, you need to fight, too. ;-)
Good Question, it didnt occur to me.
I geuss vartan would say , An army had only one general therefore bringing 10 generals would be ahistorical.
I would say: Do it, against me so I get a free point.

Im Macedon.
I'm going to be Getai as well.
The fair-play rules have been reworded. Here are the key points:
- When charging toward an enemy unit with your cavalry and infantry, you must charge cavalry first. Not infantry first. Not cavalry and infantry stacked. That's tantamount to charging through your own men.
- You may move cavalry through phalanxes just as you would through other units, the only exception being a unit with phalanx mode enabled. Previously, you were unable to even move your cavalry through a phalanx mode disabled unit if it was in tight formation.
- There is a crucial line that is drawn for when you may or may not turn your phalanx unit to meet an oncoming enemy unit. Simply put, if that enemy unit is already in 'charging' status as it approaches your unit, you may not turn to meet it unfairly. If the enemy has not reached close enough to be 'charging' you, then you may indeed turn to anticipate its charge.
- Finally, and possibly most importantly, the issue of whether or not you can re-use pikes if you have already used the phalanx's secondary weapon. Yes, you may. Here is the catch. While you are in melee with your secondary (be it axe, sword, or whatever), you may not re-enable phalanx mode for obvious purposes. But you may re-enable phalanx mode once your phalanx unit has been removed from the melee (be it by routing the enemy or simply by you retreating the phalanx).
Ask away if you have any questions regarding these changes.

I have added some more maps that we can use for multiplayer. Just copy the file into the EB data folder. Scroll down and you will see them, prefixed with MP.

If somebody doesn't have that map pack and tries to play back the replay file, what will happen?
They dont need to have it, they can still watch the replay. Its just one file, does not mess with any of your game files.
2nd battle of the tournament ends with a victory for the tenacious Lusitanians over Kival's effeminate Greeks. http://www.mediafire.com/?3oavidgeaumwkpf
Thanks. That's all that matters. As long as people in the future who may not have such a map pack can still load and watch those replays, then that's completely fine. I'm asking because the only thing I note for each month's tournament replay packs is which EDU was used.
Burebista's Getai beat my greeks. Nasty runners! ;-)
