I did not try it yet, but yeah looks real good. I tried Far Cry, finally and that's also excellent graphics though I doubt they are as good as Doom3.

Thanks, but actually all of the above are not my screens, just reposted them here for anyone who may be interested. these are taken from the UBI LOMAC forum, there is a screenshot thread there, about 105-106 pages long.

My specs, anyway:

P4 2.6 (or was it 2.8 ? dunno)
ATI RAD 9700 PRO
1 GiG RAM
X-45 HOTAS
17" Sony screen

...and I guess that's all that counts :)

LOL ! That's a funny shot from FB, well actually that used to happen to me a lot in LOMAC as well, untill I decided not to remain engaged head on longer than a few seconds, it's even more deadly against a missile armed opponent. I found in FB it's still feasible to go head on, but in Lomac more than a few seconds is certain death unless faced by some newb.

The Addon I mentioned earlier is for LOMAC. So far it's called LOMAC Version1.1, it will probably get a new name shortly, but that is the develpment designation (I guess). It will primarilty be available in the CIS (ex USSR) states, but all of us in the West can order online or download online (LEGALL PURCHASE).

Indeed I can;t wait for the BoB to come out as well. I think that it will be much better than the current engine, for FB/PF. I love props as well, hell, that's where the whole story of energy management begins (for me). You have a lot more up close and personal, in props than in jets. In LOMAC either you or your enemy is dead before he sees you, this is specially true in squadron vs squadron (online) fights. In LOMAC you do get some up close and personal, but it's only when the opponents are evenly matched and both sides know how to evade each other's missiles. THEN and only then you get to get in close, and closer. THat's what I love about props it's all up close, filling up your windscreen. That and of course the more complex engine and aircraft management. In jets the onboard coputer aids reduce the amount of multitasking (somewhat) that you have to do. OTOH you still have to do plenty in jets as the game is the same just with a few more balls.

The MIg-29 screens in the last batch I posted is not actually a Mod. This friend of mine who's studying graphics design in Oslo, is doing us a squadron skin for that aircraft. In order to do the skin correctly he has to first make all the rivets, joints and airframe "connections" onto the 3d model of the aircraft. he does this in Photoshop (I assume). Once that is done, he then has to apply weathering (wear and tear) to the airframe. After that is the final step of painting the aircraft.
