You forgot wales...
wales is part of the UK
Oh come on, the English make fun of the Welsh it's true but I've never seen a Welshman subjected to any hatred, after all many Englishman are of Welsh descent or have some Welsh (or Irish - me - or Scottish blood), but I've come across genuine backwoods 'hatred' as an Englishman in Wales, really nasty stuff.Quote:

Well this was on the ferry to Sweden, may have added a bit :laugh4: But those scandinavians here saying that 5 euro for a pizza is a lot in Blondistan, get real! I am not talking about the pizzahut here, but real restaurants with actual food, the prices are insane.Quote:

Ferry prices are always high... Can't get around that, but I can't believe that even there it would be 300kr for a pizza.Quote:

I have a nice special place, that is located in a very expensive place (next to Tivoli's main entrance on a busy road). It specializes in steaks, and I mean it. Those steaks are just the best there is! name: A Hereford's Beefstouw. Supreme. When I go there I spend 250kr (33 euro) on the steak and a few more on a beer (from the little specialist brewery next door). The beer is specifically made for steaks, so it is a perfect combo.
I love the place. And I can safely tell you that it is not a cheap place, it is considered quite expensive.
So perhaps you should get real. Or perhaps not get ripped off next time.
