Didn't STW or MTW have the wedge formation for infantry? Been a long time since I played either.
Would be nice to be able to put the heavy footsloggers into a wedge for the charge whether historically accurate or not.
You are probably right. We have all become jaded to some extent. However, the comments about speed and balance still hold true. It isn't an epic battle if it's over in five minutes, and it isn't fun if you cavalry and cannon are all you need to win. That is not to say that every battle should be a two-hour marathon, but I would appreciate a somewhat slower pace than in R:TW. This videos seem to indicate that the reverse has happened, but that really doesn't mean much. They are meant to give a quick demonstration and look spectacular.Quote:
