Now this is what I call a card game!!!!
Keep it up man, I will definetly DL it. Then print them!
Awesome work man. I wish I had the time and know how to do stuff like this!
Just curious: do the Saba Noble Infantry use spears? How come the description talks about their swords?
Actually they are special types of super-ninja chameleon swords that look and feel like spears when seen from the right angle and stuff ... :inquisitive: ... yeah well spotted ... typo of course!Quote:

I can honestly say that I have never been of that opinion. I have the greastest respect for the EB team - it is not often that a mod is created that is quite as brilliant, deep, educational and outright fun to playQuote:

This is so awesome!
How are the Romans coming?
Thanks for the germans, very useful as I am currently raiding there and razing their cities in the hope it will make them leave me alone!
I hate to be a pedant, but you have labelled the Sahnotoz (swordsmen) as having spears and no swords...
It's the 1st word in the stat_mental line. The line would read something like this if the unit could go berserk, "stat_mental 16, berserker, untrained"Quote:

There you go mate. If you do use them, fade them quite a lot (reduce contrast, increase brightness) so they don't overpower things.
Thanks for the templates, TA.
I am just not sure it is adding anything to the cards, here is a first attempt
https://img242.imageshack.us/img242/...ataroasan2.jpg
It is fairly pale and when you print it it kind of becomes a mass of grey. The problem is if I make it any darker the whole card kind of loses contrast, so I am not sure this is the way to progress.
Playing with the colours gives something like this, which is nice, but makes some text difficult to read:

I will try to see whether I can include the templates in some other way.
Will keep you guys updated - in the meantime, let me know what you think.
The Eastern Greek template looks much better:

and so is African
https://img248.imageshack.us/img248/...maloopicl6.jpg
Right, here is a sample of 5 backgrounds, African, Roman, 'Barbarian', Western and Eastern Greek.

Still not very happy with the Aedui one
Yeah, that barb one is too overexposed now. The first way you tried it was better I think. Like at the top of post 81, or close to that. Looks like the background was alpha'd out for that Aedui unit also - They are on all units, but it depends on how you copy them as to whether or not they would appear on something you paste them onto.
The more I look at it, the more I agree. I will play around with some settings and see what I can come up with. I might even change the RGB channels so that it doesn't interfere with the script on top quite as much.
There is also this (which doesn't look too unnatural when printed out)
https://img259.imageshack.us/img259/...roasup5.th.jpg
BTW: you don't happen to have the Western Greek background with the marble relief? The other one is ok, but I am just wondering whether that one would be even nicer.
Here you go. Just make sure the darkest parts are still light enough to see the text clearly.

Massive upload on the front page - all new cards in full cultural colour! Have a look and enjoy!
Note: The sickly green colour on some of the cards is an error - will be updated soon.
Koinon Hellenon with new marbled background - Thanks TA for the image:

great update, it could be usefull to have it stickied to not have it lost away... (even if you cant print them out, they are very handy to check and make comparisons)
PS what are that black balls on the right-side of the unit picture?
Looks as though it represents the required MIC to recruit the unit. 5 dots for the Spartans would mean the 5th MIC.
