If I had a choice?
it'd be the US...people are so friendly when you have a well-pronounced British accent...when I was in Salt Lake I got a free coke just cos "we're allies"..
free food aside, I love the US!

1. İstanbul-Κωνσταντινούπολις-Konstantiniyye-Νέα Ρώμη-Nova Roma-Βυζάντιον-Царьград-Цариград-Стамбул-استانبول
2. Ciudad de la Santísima Trinidad y Puerto de Nuestra Señora de Santa María de los Buenos Aires
3. Santiago de Chile
4. Napoli
5. San Cristóbal de La Habana (though it's too hot there)
However I'm a happy man, since I'm lucky to be Russian :laugh4: (but a little bit tired to be Muscovite) so right now me seriously thinx of moving from the Muscovy Maelstrom to Vladivostok or Sankt-Petersburg
Canada
Australia
New Zealand
America
Singapore
In that order of preference.
That doesn't seem like much of a contest; I'd pick St. Petersburg, hands down! :yes:Quote:

Canada. My gf wants to live there. Now I will have to move my chains there! Gah!
If I was forced to leave the US I think I could only fill the emptiness by going to Africa and joining the Rhodesian Army.
Don't get me wrong, I would love to travel the world someday and see all those other amazing countries...
But only to visit.
Or if you want to know the meaning of perpetual cold, visit the North of England.Quote:

Back in my day, it would go above -30 fahrenheit once a year, _if_ we were lucky! And even then you're not taking into account windchill!
That's much funnier if said in a gruff Yorkshire accent

Russia is #3 on the top suicide rate list. That tells. :inquisitive:Quote:

UK. I love the place and want to retire there. Plus, I'm already a British citizen, so it makes the entire process extremely simple.
Germany and France are also on my list, but slightly further down.
exactly. Nine hours of flight between me and my ex. Sounds great :laugh4:Quote:

Canada
That would be my top 3

Let me check Japan's rank on the suicide rate list... :computer:
.
That is why I live in a village (well 100.000 people, officially a town but it is not), highly recommend it :yes:Quote:

Belgium is a very likely candidate, shared language and all. Germany and England come next.
Australia, Canada and parts of the USA are all good picks: no language problem, not sure if I can stand the Australian sun for consecutive months, though.
If language wasn't a problem at all, I might have gone for a mediterranean country. Italy would be the foremost choice of those.
After carefully re-reading your posts, it appears that You, good ol' Mouze, in fact was desperately trying to protect Your beloved city from the grim consequenses of my possible visit :pirate2:Quote:

India - The women.
Gibraltar - What's this? A pub.. with monkeys!? I'm there, sir!
Anywhere in Scandinavia - Why not?
Definitely Gibraltar.
Or Canada.
Maybe France.
Maybe Germany.

Japan, my second home.
The Netherlands: great music/arts community.
Perth, Aus: familiar climate to my hometown. They speak a language related to English.

Perth isn't that great, now that I think about it, it's rather small. (Despite me living here/there). =D
It's amazing after living in a moderate sized city your life, and then going to one of the most densely populated cities in the world, just how massive it seems. Probably goes the same for rural folk moving to the city. This happened to me when I went to visit Jakarta, Indonesia. They had a rollercoaster in a shopping centre. A rollercoaster! With loops and all sorts! :laugh4:
Ahem.Quote:

So, a Turk, a Russ and a Jap walk into a bar... :turtle:
