i thought that too, but i couldnt find a way. perhaps picking up a color from the sky, but i had already spent like 30 minutes on it so.....yeah

I like anime, i just usually happen upon anime pictures with simplistic backgrounds which are easy to render :P
From there I pick a suitable stock picture as a background, render some flames or add some C4Ds, my name in either F'Donkulous or Satan something something and i'm done :D

Here, this look alright. What I mean was I wanted to get the guitar as well as hammett's face in there, which was difficult at higher sizes, nay impossible, and when the picture is really small it looks off to me.
I'll of course see how you like this, and if you need it changed I can still do that.
Thank god I saved the xcf's from both of the files, I was able to put both versions up there, with the new picture.

LOVE the first one, but if u can do that cool effect with the lightning on the second pic with the first pic as well,that will be PERFECT!
I wish I could show you how I did it, I'm quite proud of the "lightning" which is little more than a white brush, simmilar to what you could find in MSPaint.

That's pretty good. I like your emperor, although I'm not sure who the woman is. However, the font doesn't really stand out; maybe it's the colour? That said, it wouldn't be any good if it was garish either.

Could it be done with bolder font and something more visible against the background, red comes to mind but try different colors.
