Interesting, why did you fold?
Hey guys, Crazed Rabbit helped to lynch Jolt. What the reasoning here? Do you think he bussed his partner?
fos: civplayah for following blindly on this, supposedly to save credits.
Not so much fos at Beskar, he could be clowning like Beskar sometimes do. :laugh4:
I would like to point out that Crazed Rabbit is not the mafia, but Civplayah and Skooma jumping off the bandwagon and jumping on one on CR is definitely a real scum sign.

I'm inclined to agree with Beskar.

Interesting, why civplayah and not skooma?
I find his signature more appealing.
In otherwords, Apples and Pears. They are both viable candidates. They jumped on the one on me when CR did his wager, then I did mine, then they jumped off that bandwagon, but Civplayah jumped onto CR. One thing is certain, they both acted incredibly scummy.
For me, Civplayah already had bids on him, he couldn't out bid us as well as Skooma. Next round bid on Skooma. If we put too many bids on several people, the mafia can just out bid us to save themselves or their partners.
True, it'd be too hard to lynch Skooma, especially since he could just put money on someone else.
Wager 25: civplayah
lol, I think I am still in the lead due to jht's vote.
Should I break the pact :juggle2:
Yes I believe I can do that, extenuating circumstances and all.
wager 80 credits: Seon
Skooma is my next choice, and has a lot of votes, but hmm.
civplayah seems innocent actually
But honestly, despite yesterdays success we are shooting in the dark here. Seon has what 4 posts? But if we make a decent enough effort we can win eventually.
And seon, if you do save yourself you're scum, hmmk? No extenuating circumstances in your case.
greyblades and cdf have been very quiet.
Thought of a kind of gamebreaking strategy...don't think we'll use it though.
You never answered my question as to what exactly I did that looked scummy to you, but that's fine. One way or another, it won't matter after this day phase.
Wager: 90 Seon
That is all of my remaining coins. If I'm not mistaken, that's 195 coin on Seon, outbidding all other wagers. The rest of you can fold your bids and save your coin for when it is most needed as is not the case at the moment. Save your coin. It's much better I contribute all of my worth to take out a prime suspect along with myself, saving town coin this round as well as my subsequent lynch the next. I'm offering two birds with one stone, so conserve your coin and make sure someone is in the thread to make sure no one tries a last minute switch-a-roo to someone else in the morning.
Well, you all will be wasting a lot of money, but whatever, isn't it?
fold. 90 credits on Sasaki.
If you are Town, you should not be thinking like that. Your survival as individual is not important and you should make your lynch as costless as possible. Your attitude is very anti-Town here, Seon.
Again, it's suspicious to see big bets on someone who lynched Jolt on Day 1. Of course he could have lynched his partner to gain a lot of favor, and I have no doubt that Sasaki could make this play, but I am not interested to test this theory on Day 2.
JHT, you need to remove this vote now. If it was a trap then good job, we've baited Seon. We cannot afford to pay 200+ credits to later realize that Seon was just a stubbord townie. Let's reduce the cost of lynching him, and for that we need you to fold your vote on Sasaki. If you don't remove it, you will lose it anyway and die, because unless the situation changes, I guarantee you that I will make the necessary wager to lynch Seon at the time limit.Quote:
Wager 90: Sasaki.
Why not?
The same goes for anyone else not voting for Seon. It's time to fold to save your credits.
This setup makes it hard for the mafia to lynch a townie because they will lose their credits by doing so, and I think they are aware of this. Notice how Jolt made a 85 credit wager on Day 1 - He could not go the whole way because he would also die.
That's the killer rule for them.Quote:
If the person you wager money on is innocent, you lose those credits.
So that's why Jolt bet 85 and not 100. He kept 15 to survive.
Now notice Seon's last bet. He's pushing a lot of chips to lynch Sasaki (90), but he's still keeping some (9). I would be much more inclined to believe that Seon is town if he pushed his whole stack(99), as it would show that Seon really believes Sasaki to be scum. Keeping 9 credits shows that Seon is worried about his survival, and that he possibly knows Sasaki is not mafia.
However the same reasoning could be applied to Sasaki's wager of 80 on Seon. I don't like it Sasaki. Why 100 on Jolt and now only 80 on Seon?
I look at statement like that, Romanic, and I think. What would Diamondeye do? He would probably try and kill you with a switchblade and swing it at you with madness in his eyes.
Unfortunately I don't have a switchblade, so I won't do that.
Anyways, you say I am holding back on credits? Of course I am. I am planning on adding them to my wager if you all fail to see that my lynch isn't worth the credits you are pouring in. Do I believe that Sasaki is innocent? Sure I do. He got Jolt on day 1 after all!
So the real question is, if I am town, am I insane enough to endanger Sasaki like that? Yes. Yes I am.
:laugh4:
You're not helping yourself Seon. If you are innocent, you should be trying to convince us that you are, not making threats on how much it will cost us to lynch you. Also, stating that you are keeping 9 credits to add them later is not making much sense when you are already wagering 90, as 9 more will not likely make a difference in the final result.
There's no way I am going to let you go now, you need to be lynched asap.

There, now I would die of credit loss and civplayah would die of a lynch, bringing 2 suspects down.
There there. Happy, Roman? :p
Yes, I am happy. As we discussed in chat, I think it's a good idea that you vote all your credits to lynch another suspect (civplayah). You will survive only if it turns out that civplayah is mafia, which would be a good thing.
If everyone agrees with this plan, I believe we should be removing our wagers and let Seon lynch civplayah using all his credits. However we need to be around at the deadline to make sure Seon does not move his vote at the last minute.
What do you think of this idea?

Sorry I've been abit inactive pizza. I got a 30 day free trial on warhammer online and, well, its kinda addicting.
The "suspects commit suicide" stuff is what I was thinking when I said there was a gamebreaking strategy...town can get extra lynches.
As it stands, jht, skooma, and seon are committing suicide.
hmm. I'm somewhat tempted to lynch arpegg, feeling a bit like an arpegg-diana scumteam.
Well, I suppose it remains to be seen if seon will stay with his vote. Switching at the very last minute would be a better scum strategy than what jolt tried.
eh, my scumhunting focus isn't here right now though so I'm not going to try and figure it out.
It's is reasonable to pick a new lynch target so close to the deadline (~35 minutes left) ? As you said, we stand to lose three players, we could lose more if we were to move our votes to Arpeg.
And I'm seeing Seon and civplayah scummier than Arpeg. Very surprised that you are not.
With the current votes, Seon cannot try a last minute vote. He cannot beat his current vote count no matter where he places his 99 credits.
Yeah, after I said that I reread and was like "what am I seeing?" so that's why I said I wasn't going to try and figure it out.
Will probably trust the others judgement and vote civplayah.

Conserving credits seems to be a win/win strategy for this game. The only downside of low bets that I can think of is that scum might lay down a lot of money at the last minute. Surely though, if this happens, he'll have wasted all of his chips and will be an easy lynch next round? With high credit reserves, anybody that survives late in the game can protect from night-kills too.
That's my recommendation anyway. Any thoughts?
Those with high amounts of credits will be Night targets anyway. So those with high credit amounts will die.
Also, those with high credit amounts know this and will protect themselves at night, while those with low cannot do this.
Complex system. Try and target the ones which are better to kill off, but risk failing, or kill off those you know you can kill?

Papa Gino's pizzeria. August 4th, 1983.
End of Day Two
Michael decided he wanted in on this card game, and tossed in his ante. The marks seemed much more confident they could beat the house this time. A little bit too cocky, perhaps, but only time would tell. Michael decided to continue the tradition of asking for the lowest bets to show their cards first.
Michael: Mister THIS, let's start with you.
ArpeggiateTHIS: I have two aces, can I split them up?
Michael: That's Blackjack. For the last time, we're playing Poker.
Splitpersonality: Two pair, aces and deuces.
civplayah: Blast, I couldn't fill my straight.
Johnhughthom: I bet everything! I'm a high roller, that's how I roll.
Michael: What do you roll in a card game? Let's see your cards.
Johnhughthom: No. Just trust me, I have a full house.
Michael: *lifting the gun* SHOW... THE.... CARDS.
Johnhughthom: three, seven, nine, jack, four. What's that make?
Michael: I believe that makes you bankrupt. Good night, John.
*Michael pointed the gun at John, and opened fire, filling his body with hot, searing lead, and knocking him out of his chair.*
Diana Abnoba: Pair of threes.
Double A: Straight, ten high. Read 'em and weep, boys!
Sasaki Kojiro: Fold.
Crazed Rabbit: Get lost.
Pinman: Too rich for my blood.
Beskar: I'm out.
Skooma Addict: I'll see your 25, and raise you.... EVERYTHING I GOT LEFT!!! I have a flush. All diamonds. I feel like Skooma tonight!
Seon: Oh, not a flush. I can't beat that. All I have is a full boat, queens and aces. Good thing I bet everything too. I guess that means I win.
Michael: No, it means you lose.... I have Four Kings.
*Michael pointed the gun at Seon, and opened fire, blasting his head clean off of his shoulders.*
Skooma Addict: Whoops, I'm out of money! Why did I bet all my chips? I needed that money for my Skooma habit!
*Michael pointed the gun at Skooma Addict, and opened fire, emptying his clip and making Skooma look like swiss cheese*
https://i205.photobucket.com/albums/...ommy_m1928.jpg
Michael: Looks like I cleaned house tonight. Papa Gino's thanks you for your patronage.
With that, Michael slid everyone's chips toward him, and stacked them up nice and neatly, then grinned like a true psychopath. Everyone lost their bets today.

@Town
I have an insane suggestion which no one in their right mind would even begin to entertain, so hear me out. How about everyone comes to a consensus about a particular coarse of action as opposed to driving your two clinically insane members into committing suicide?
An alternate plan is to have someone suicide every day phase having them place all their coin on themselves and everyone else places one coin on them as to appease the great pizza god in all his cheesy goodness. By sheer number, we're bound to get the remaining scum as long as the town, as a whole, agrees that winning is more important then their individual wants to be alive. Also, if the town comes to an agreement upon this radical course of action, it will force the scum to have no choice but to adamantly oppose it for transparent reasons. Town is more important then the individual. You all have to agree to something, together, even if it isn't my proposed plan because wasting coin isn't going to get it done, no matter how satisfying it is to be turned into an undead slice of swiss cheese.
I would ordinarily grant an extension due to the forum being down, but it so happens I have the orders from the mafia.

Papa Gino's pizzeria. August 4th, 1983.
Night Two
Romanic got into his car and counted the money he had left. It was time to go home. He wondered whether winning money at Papa Gino's was worth it, considering the death toll so far, but lost his train of thought and started re-counting his money. Then he noticed that there was another vehicle at the far end of the parking lot. Everyone else had left.
Suddenly the lights of that vehicle turned on, and it slowly moved closer to Romanic's car. At this point, Romanic tossed his chips into his glove box and turned the ignition key, and pulled out of his parking space as fast as he could. He felt the other car slam into his, and his face bounced off of the steering wheel.
Romanic: Oh :daisy:... Time to buckle up...
Romanic pushed the pedal to the metal and his car exited the parking lot and went careening into midnight traffic. The vehicle behind him was in close pursuit. Romanic swerved his car in and out of traffic, trying to shake his pursuer. He looked around frantically for a police patrol car, but could not find any. He focused on formulating a plan which could save him....
Vincenzo: Where do you think you're going? Boss wants his payment. Don't make this harder than it has to be...
Romanic of course could not hear his attacker, but spotted a small alley up ahead and to the left. Without warning, Romanic cut his wheel sharply, and swerved across three lanes of traffic, over the solid yellow line, and across 4 lanes of oncoming traffic, without getting so much as a scratch. The oncoming traffic, however, was forced to brake and swerve sharply to avoid him, causing a multi-car accident. He could hear horns blaring, but continued down the alley.
Romanic: That was too close...
It seemed like the accident negated any possibility of his pursuer following him down the alley. He looked up ahead and saw a chain link fence blocking his path, and it looked like a dead end. But Romanic just went faster, and crashed right through the fence, busting up his windshield in the process. He continued down the alley, to the avenue up ahead. When he got there, he waited for traffic to give him space, and then turned right.
Vincenzo: You'll have to do better than that, my Italian friend.
Romanic spotted the Papa Gino's delivery vehicle waiting for him in the next alley over. The car roared into traffic and impacted Romanic's vehicle on the passenger side, knocking Romanic's car into the van driving on his left. Horns blared and traffic slowed, and Romanic sped off. Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted two patrol cars parked at a Dunkin' Donuts and honked his horn repeatedly, but the police officers taking a break inside didn't even look up.
Vincenzo: Pull over, Romanic, I just want to talk to you.....
Vincenzo's delivery car slammed into the passenger rear tire, executing a perfect pit maneuver. Romanic's car twisted sharply to the right, and slammed through a street lamp and into a closed coffee shop. The front end was smashed up, and the engine ground to a halt.
Vincenzo: I just want my money. Get out of the car.
Vincenzo shouted at Romanic to exit his vehicle with the money. Slowly but surely, Romanic pulled himself from the twisted wreckage, carrying the case filled with his remaining cash.
Vincenzo: Hold it right there. Don't get cute, just slide it toward me, and then get down on the ground with your arms behind your head, face down.
Vincenzo counted up the money. There was only $87,015.25 in the case, far short of the $150,000 that Romanic owed Michael.
Vincenzo: Romanic, I'm disappointed in you. You know the boss don't like having to send me to collect. With the damage to my car, I'm going to have to charge you another 10 grand to replace it. And you don't have nearly enough money here.
Romanic: I'll win enough tomorrow, I swear!
Vincenzo: No, I don't think so. Nobody wins at Michael's tables. It's all rigged, didn't you know? We played you for a sucker. You needed to go take out a second mortgage or something... rob a bank, whatever. Now, it's time to collect.....
https://i205.photobucket.com/albums/...ommy_m1928.jpg
Vincenzo shot Romanic in the back, firing 20 rounds, until he was satisfied that Romanic would be dead in moments.
Vincenzo: I'll take the $87,015 as payment, and then we'll loot your place for what's left. Blackmail relatives. Whatever. But, since I'm in an especially generous mood.....
Vincenzo took the quarter from the case, and flipped it onto Romanic's dying body.
Vincenzo: Keep the change, ya filthy animal.
