yeh, I told you
Lazy awoke, stretched and yawned and moved to put on his boots, before remembering that he had slung them over the edge of the ravine the previous evening. Muttering a curse, he fished into his sack for the two magical items which still remained, and with a mild surprise noted that they both appeared to be in the same state they were when he put them there. It was only while sliding The Codpiece of Whang over his loincloth and placing the shining helm known as Jimihil's Grillpiece, atop his shaven pate that he realised something was missing....
The curse!
Lazy felt fine! The fog had lifted from his eyes and his skin had regained its ruddy complexion and he felt strong! Strong enough to pack up and move out. There were taverns full of eager listeners waiting for him just a matter of ...oh... a few hundred miles away, but those miles felt like a mere hop skip and a jump to the rejuvenated warrior. Soon enough people would hear of his deeds, and though his treasure haul had been dwindled significantly - it was in no way insignificant. One day he would bring a team of fine mules to collect the buried treasure! The future looked bright.
END OF GAME: TOWN VICTORY!
Thanks to those of you who participated, both for participating and for your patience; and bad luck Jarema - our curse - for falling at the last hurdle. This was a fun exercise for me, and I hope that the lack of any roles did not ruin anyone's enjoyment. I had not considered any of the implications of having just a solitary mafia/sk, so it just goes to show, that sometimes you learn more about the game when you host instead of play :D...but it's all play of course :)
Thanks for the game Lazy, and commiserations Jarema. Yay town.
Thanks for hosting Lazy. I enjoyed the writeups as well.
You're a hard man to convince JHT. :laugh4:
I really did think the killer would be the Codpiece.
congratulations town, well made.
I was waiting for the end of that day, when votes were on Visor...
I truly didn't suspect you, but one giveaway was your manner after being put in the lead: like a little kid caught with his hand in the cookie jar! ;P
Aye, before that, I didn't suspect Jarema aswell XD
Well done Visor lol
yes, you are right guys...
I am ashamed of my own dis-ability to act unsuspicious
Being scum in a final round shoot out like that is probably the hardest situation not to flinch as mafia, I've done it myself, more than once, and many people have mentioned how few scum tells I have (not trying to boast...). Nothing to be ashamed of.
yeah, but I still feel... bad with myself.
It was like an aggression during a quarell - things I wrote get spiralling out of control - worse and worse with every word.
And I couldnt stop, because I promised myself, when I started playing mafia, that I will NEVER try to win by sitting and not writing anything
You shouldn't be. You almost fooled everyone and almost won. You can point out that almost isn't winning, but you came damned close, so you shouldn't be ashamed.
This.
I will agree that it was possibly the only thing that got jht to vote you. I was not doing a great job. :P
Yeah, it would be hollow.
You played a good game Jarrema, almost flawless. Nothing to be ashamed about.
Don't forget that you had Visorslash's awesome nose for scum to deal with. The two comments he picked up on from the off - i thought - we very good detection. Hats off to you Visor
yes, Visor was good at it, is true. I think town deserved this win, and it was very interesting game
Heh heh. "Whang."
