Undecided about you.
Town leans on Visor, Montmorency, Spaceman.
Crimson also I think.
Not sure about Winston and Pelican.
El Barto might be the scummiest person who's posted anything much.
The rest are all scum.

Re: Futuramafia [In Play]
Well, I don't think crimson is guilty, so Vote: El Barto because getting them lynched seems more likely than the general and he has contributed a relatively small amount compared to his post count.

And novice why am I town?
This reminds me of JHT in Autolycus's game, who called me town after I had spent most of the game tunneling accusing him, and then abruptly switched off. JHT was mafia that game. I have a feeling townies tend to be more vengeful, especially at this stage, because its the natural reaction, while mafia are more likely to town-tell their accusers to appease them and win townie points.
That's not much, but its enough for me to stick to my guns

Speaking of JHT you're here, you posted in thread. What do you think about the game? Crimson Fox? El Barto? Novice? Me?
Stork same goes for you. By Zack's tally you have not made a valid vote, but you've been around since the tally. So what do you think?

I had one nitpick, you criticizing me for prodding Dp101. In my opinion there wasn't much point in prodding someone who wasn't posting at that point.

I would agree, generally. But in this case I felt I had overpressed a bit in my questioning of Dp101, and my lashout against Newyn was probably out of line. So I felt questioning me was in order. Here's the thing though - I've overpressed before, and whenever I'm town and find myself scumming it up, it tends to be townies who react. Possibly because it's harder for scum to judge when a townie is overpressing? At any rate, there you have it.

I don't believe novice looks weak here, but can imagine why scum might go there.
And I think the hint of contempt in that post is more likely to seem justified in the mind of a scumbag than that of a townie.

Sorry, let me rephrase that. I'm not voting him because I don't think enough people would lynch him, and I don't want to switch off the current lynch when second place looks town, because then the potential townie gets lynched.
-
Re: Futuramafia [In Play]
Don't like Crimson for the lynch today.
It's easy to catch votes in unfamiliar company, and the vibe I'm getting reminds me of my own misadventures earlier this summer at RB and Giraffe.

Re: Futuramafia [In Play]
Thanks Winston, you're correct.
Crimson looks towny on a reread, and El Barto is not so bad. He observes my discussion with Dp without really making any comment that commits, but then again neither did anyone else.
I think I'd prefer lynching one of the low posters, GeneralHankerchief comes to mind for that post Dp pointed out.
(Not that Riedquat has earned my unvote, but whatever.)

I was a serial killer last game (WW43), but prior to that (had to look it up) I was town in 42, 41, 40 and 39, and mafia in 38, played in april 2015.

I don't have a "prejudice". I know how my 'friends' play, and I will totally call them out if I see them do wolfy things. And admittedly when you've played with people more things that may seem wolfy if you've never played against them are not super wolfy. I'm still not going to assume that, and given my situation you two are both fairly scummy.
-

Oh, the "All the rest are scum" part was tongue in cheek, I thought it was obvious enough that I couldn't have a real opinion on the people who had almost no posts.
But it was serious in that I have no qualms lynching the low posters if I don't see a convincing lynch among the active players.
By the way I didn't repeatedly defend Spaceman. I gave a town lean on him and then elaborated on it when questioned about it.

Well, let's see. Early on, Riedquat made a typical arbitrary vote on Barto. Afterwards CrimsonFox made his "serious" vote on Bart after pressure from GH and Visor. At the time, Stork had been leading in the vote, and Crimson had no votes. Then, recently, Newyn changed his vote onto him ostensibly to deflect from Crimson, and 2 more votes quickly followed (including from you) for some really half-baked reasons, even given what we have seen so far here. After Newyn, Novice called Bart's posts the scummiest of the day after prompting from DP, who then switched to Bart because he didn't like the Crimson lynch and found it a better prospect to build the Barto wagon. Then you voted.
Sordid stuff.
-
Re: Futuramafia [In Play]
Yeah, I've been liking cuthillius less and less as this day has gone on. His reads feel arbitrary and trendy, like he saw a couple of posts pointing in a similar direction to his reads and then he latched onto them and pushed them way too far, originally not expecting to receive that much criticism due to the current atmosphere and then doubling down on them once he got criticism so that he wouldn't look suspicious for voting them. I would gladly kill them, but again, not going to switch votes when second place is townish.
-
Re: Futuramafia [In Play]
Crimson looks worse to me than Barto does, though I really don't have any good reads on anyone.

Umm D1 ending in two large competing wagons is fairly normal. More effort on them than usual, but nothing odd about the vote distribution Barto, and you know that

this post (#215) reads town to me. Its just too aggressive for something mafia would post in this situation IMO
Barto, I'm pretty ok with lynching you right now TBH (I still like novice hanging better, for reasons I've already stated, but still). Why shouldn't I?
