I've got an Imperialist themed sig using the Hohenzollern Eagle (used Paint, so it isn't that great, but you know...).
cool sig EMFM, wanna make a british one?
Yes, something with a lion.
Alright, I'll try. But I need a motto to add to this one. Short and powerful.
Actually, we can make it into a contest. Submit your two best entries for a motto (if in another language, include an English translation), and the Guardians of the Empire will have a chance to choose their favorite. If more than one Guardian chooses a differant one, we will either have a vote, debate, or civil war ~;) . If only one Guardian selects a motto by 21:00 GMT on Tuesday the 25th, that will be the official motto. ~
How about:
BY MY MIGHT!
PAX IMPERIUM!
ONE FLAG, ONE LANGUAGE, ONE CURRENCY, ONE PEOPLE, ONE LAW, ONE RULER, EMPIRE!
"Death is instant, pain will end, glory is forever"
Fide et Fiducia (Confidence by Fidelity)
test
How about copying the RAF motto, it's pretty cool
Par Adua Ad Astra i think thats right..
it means reach for the stars
So far, I like Pax Imperium best of all. Short, punchy and effective. Or Dulce et Decorum est pro Patria mori.
P.S, happy Agincourt Day to all English members of this club.
Yes, dulce et decorum est pro patria mori, or For God and the Empire (mottot of the most excellent order of the British Empire).
What a way to remember how we always beat the french~:cheers:Quote:

Also,
Would you conquer the world in the name of Charile-boy and horse-woman?
Not for the future Queen, but certainly for the Duke of Rothesay, he is a Tory through and through, and his sone will make a damned fine King.
Your making your club increasing foolish by supporting him.Quote:

I have feeling he will do something stupid and be overthrown.
And why would William make a good king?
Tosh, the public are too lazy to depose him, and if Big Lizzie lasts much longer, he won't have much time as King.
William would make a good King because he is younger, and because he is joining the Army
Never underestimate "the people".Quote:

HA!
I'm getting ready for 2015, oh yes, die you Napoleonistic unifiers!
Down with mainland Europe's ideas, may they be replaced by ours!
Oh uhhh...
Anyone heard about a possible upcoming film on Malborough?
Guys, look to the sig, i gave myself some titles that i think i deserve..
Although there isnt as many as Bopa's, i think there pretty cool
I approve. ~:)
So do I.~:)
William will certainly make a good king, for one thing he's a 'modern' guy therefore maybe he will be a more public king, i.e not sitting around in buckingham palace all day everyday only making an appearence at christmas.Quote:

The link for the forums. Not quite finished, but try to check them often, as I will post new sub-forums eventually (with your suggestions in mind).
I've created a new sig for our British members:

I am beginning a book on Imperialism. It will contain a few chapters, hopefully at least 600 pages, and will base on the following subjects:
What Imperialism is.
The use of Imperialism in past politics
A history of warfare between Imperialist countries
Imperialism and religion
Modern Imperialism
Our version of Imperialism (which I suppose is still not confirmed ~;) ), and why it works
I'm hoping to add some more topics. If people can suggest reference sources, links, and titles I would be grateful.
Imperialism is just multigenerational Facism.
Imperialism is not fascism
https://img438.imageshack.us/img438/...lagf1zw.th.gif God save the queen
The Queen
:coffeenews: Will the real Habsburg please stand up?

~
Racial superiority? I wouldn't say anything like that. Not all colonialism is fascism. One can consider the natives of the colony to be equal, give the colony a council or somesuch thing. One can also combine democracy with imperialism. I would rather keep the House of Commons and have an Empire...

SFTS I am disapointed in you......I expect this sorta thing out of kaiser but YOU!
We fought a war to get rid of the worthless inbred queen/king now you want god to save them!~:mecry:
Why don't we just give our country back to the brits while were at it~
Do we really need to remind you again how well your White House burns?~;)
LOL do we need to remind you, that we won our revoloution with FRANCE on our side~D
exactly, you couldn't have done it on your own.
You tea drinking british swine are only mad becuase we owned your n00b red coats and because we saved your @$$ in world war 2. We could defeat you with one hand tied behind our backs and with France on our side.
"exactly, you couldn't have done it on your own."
Maybe so, but at this point we could easily crush you, even with France on our side(Having The modern nation of france on your side would be a disadvantage)
:charge:
I hope no one takes the above comment very seriously. It was intended as a joke, like the other comments in this thread, Such as "Do we really need to remind you again how well your White House burns?"
Show us the lower lip and I might consider believing you. ~DQuote:

Because the Queen is chosen by God to govern over the most sovereign land of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Royal families are still used because:
-they bring in cash from tourists.
-you would need a president anyway to act as head of state (unless you want an ultra-powerful leader) and he charges too, since the president can hardly hold a job. And he would need a big allowanc for entertaining foreing dignatries.
-where would publications such as Hello and OK be without the Royal Family?~D
And yet you couldn't win a war against the Vietnamese...Quote:

Don't know for sure about Britain (although they probably think God will save their Queen because their Queen is the head of their Church... bit of circular reasoning actually), but in the Netherlands we simply still continue the monarchy because nobody feels like disbanding it again (Our monarchy only dates back to 1813, although the royal family has a history with the Netherlands going back to the 15th century). Our last (and only) attempt at an anti-monarchal revolution was P.J. Troelstra's socialist 'uprising' in 1918 (inspired by events in Germany), but that failed miserably mainly not because most people didn't like Socialism, but because nobody liked getting rid of the Queen! Nowadays, there are some republicans, but most feel our current Queen (Beatrix) is pretty much okay and there is no reason to send her away. This of course might change when her son Willem (IV) Alexander turns out to be bad at the job, but that's still in the future. Our monarchy and the royal family are still celebrated every year on Koninginnedag (Queen's Day - 30 april), when the whole country turns Orange (the national and Royal colour) and there are feasts everywhere. Most also fail to see an elected president doing better at the moment, so... Also, our Queen still holds quite a lot of power, though not officially, she is alot more powerfull then most Scandinavian kings, for example.Quote:

TEA IS THE BEST DRINK EVER!!!!!:hide:
Earl Grey tea: 2-10 Euros (well, quality differs)
China cup with saucer: don't know, but at least 40 Euros
two cubes of sugar: two or three for the box
German silver spoons dating from 1871: 300 Marks for the set
The end result: Priceless
