yep we were very good agaisnt reading - i just hope we can keep the momentum going.
Jussi Jaskalainen (i hope i spelt that right!) is a damn good keeper - how many years has he been your first choice now?
Yeh i was happy shevchenko scored, he deserves a few goals and it would be nice seeing him play at his best in the premier league this season :2thumbsup:
Alosno is the new/old F1 chapmion.
Why nobody opened thread? I will...
IIRC about nine years. He's an excellent shot-stopper but his kicking is bobbins. Although much better than Robinsons. :embarassed:Quote:

Edit:
On the subject of keepers, I should say not to detract from Jussi Jääskeläinen's
obvious skill, but David James has been playing out of his skin since the start of
the season. None of you think he might be better for England than Paul Robinson
just now?
Yes, van Persie played only few games well. I watched live Reding - Arsenal in Serbian national television (RTS). Arsenal is one of the most popular English club in Serbia.:2thumbsup:Quote:

I thought that. Listen on BBC Sport Radio...
We in Serbia can watch free terrestrial English, Spanish and Italian football leagues and on cable German and French (I am not on cable).
:wall: i think im gonna go live in Serbia :beam: :flybye:
Average weekend:
3-4 Premiership games (all are live)
always 3 Primera division games (2 always live)
always 3 Seria A games (all are live)

Arsenal was so far 4 or 5 times live.

How much does your average serbian house cost? :2thumbsup:
I am incredibly suprised! I might have to travel to Serbia every weekend!
Here is the challenger!
2-3 Premiership games,
2-3 Serie A games,
2-3 La Liga games,
Free Kebab included!
Makes sense if you think about it. I don't suppose big networks are falling over themselves for the Serbian broadcast rights. Probably not very lucrative.
A-ye that should be why we and Serbians there are able to watch what you crave for, obvious reasoning.
I get only Armenian football, but I get streaming Chelsea matches.

Oh well if 1 is morning for you, I guess you rely on sunlight panels that turn you off after the sunset.Quote:

Whole weekend football!:dizzy2: Plus Champions league which I watch also in Croatian tv and UEFA Cup live.

Average cost of house is Serbia - depend in what town and part of town just like everywhere else.:book: :laugh4:

Those we always can watch free.
The problem is German Bundesliga because Bundesliga games are in the same time when is Serbian Super League. That's why nobody had right on it. But now is avaible on cable (Sport Klub).
:hanged:
Why?
I just thought of a genius plan, we run a 1050 mile cable from your tv to mine, so i can watch serbain tv at weekends :2thumbsup:
I will refrain from joining in the Serbian Appreciation Society at this point and just
add that West Ham is going down. Down to Chesterfield tonight, crash and burn
down to the Championship before the end of the season, and down goes Pardew,
if he isn't out within a few weeks. Down you go. Buh-bye.
[If I am wrong, I will move toSerbiaSlovenia.]
:2thumbsup: its not looking good for the East Londoners, however they can't play this badly all season, harewood and tevez are both brillaint forwards, while reo-coker and mascherano are two of the top premiership midfielders... however they need to improve soonish or Pardew's got the sack :2thumbsup:
Well, you would not expect them to continue with that form, but I think they will.
Eight consecutive losses. West Ham are gone. Gone in terms of spirit, gone in
terms of confidence - and yes, gone to the Championship.
[I reserve the right to edit these posts if they manage to pull off a West Brom, natch.]
which 3 teams do you think will be relegated?
I think: Watford
Shefield Utd
Fulham
Hm. What makes you think Fulham? I might have said them before the start ofQuote:

As for Watford, I'm not sure I'd say them. Their initial performances just seemed
to have been too good, albeit without getting crucial results, though enough to
make me think they can stay up.
I think I will have to say Charlton, as I don't rate Iain Dowie too highly, and
simply as they just haven't looked like winning, particularly against Watford.
Add to that, I think unless Man City 'release' Stuart Pearce soon he's either
going to succumb to the stress, or the team will to the pull of the relegation
zone - and I wouldn't like to see them go.
With Sheffield I'm almost inclined to agree, although I think West Ham will take
one of the spots. [In case I didn't make that clear.]
I chose fulham because i think there squad is just to weka to last the season, a few injuries and they're out of it, --> similarly i think Watford just dont have the stamina to last the season, altho i rate Bothroyd very highly as a manager
Charlton!! They hav'nt played all he well, but Dowie is competant enough, and compared to fulham and watford they have much greater all round quality (especially the two bents up front)
Edit:
Ha, West Ham lost to Chesterfield! Their two wonder-signings are going to be playing in the Championship next season if the team don't pick things up.
Edit:
I wouldn't say they were overrated. I think that they need to adjust to Premiership stlye play. The Argentines normally end up in some sort of half-brawl once every ten minutes and the ball rarely goes anywhere fast. In the Premiership, the ball moves much faster and so do the players. Therefore it is just the getting used to that is hurting these players.Quote:

I would like the bottom three of the EPL come the end of the season to be:
18 NUFC
19 MCFC
20 WHUFC
Why?
Well because they are all 'big clubs' and 'too good' to get relegated. The arrogance and self-delusion of these three 'under achievers' in particular, really gets my goat. A couple of seasons in the fizzy pop league might knock the hubris out of them, maybe even some sense into them.
:whip:
I agree about the first two, but haven't West Ham only been back in the Prem for a couple of seasons?
Why is Arsenal only 4th?
They got Henry,Reyes,Fabregas,Hleb,Lehmann,Diaby,Toure,Campbell,Eboue....
Reyes is in Madrid for now, and Camp bell [an interesting take on his name] is atQuote:

I don't think seeing some of the more established [financially or otherwise] clubs
go down would be good for the quality of your game in the long-run, although
yes, those three haven't been adding to the quality recently.
True. However haven't you heard how they won the world cup back in 66? The fans are truly 'up 'emselves'....a right royal pain in the bumhole. As it is written; Pride come's before a fall.Quote:

IA, seems your boys have been beaten by Charlton. Oh dear, oh dear.
Who id like to see relegated (in dreamland)
Spurs
Bolton :whip:  :furious3:
Newcastle
In reality I believe it will be:
Charlton
Sheffield United
Watford
West Ham undoubtly have problems, not just on the pitch, but off it too. They can say what they like, but losing their assistant manager to Norwich, and all the talks of take overs are making the manager and players very uneasy. Its quite clear to see. However they are strong enough to stay up. They will probably do what Everton did last season, as in when they find their form they will rocket up the table.
I think the relegation battle could be quite close this year. Lets not forget clubs like Middlesbrough, Fulham, Reading. If they all hit a bad run of form nobody can predict who will be down at the end of the season.
As long as Blackburn arnt there, I couldnt give a monkeys

I'd made the assumption, probably wrongly, that edyz would be aware that
Arsenal have a game in hand. On the subject of the video though, Rosicky just
hasn't been taking them from far enough out recently.
You also got Rosicky and Senderos. ~;)

our whole team is class - you've missed out Toure, Hleb, Baptista etc etc etc etc. :2thumbsup:
Punishment reduced for Italy trio
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Crucially, Juventus have had some more points restored, meaning an almost
certain return to Serie A for them next season. In my own view I think that this
is a negative outcome for football in Europe as a whole, but do any of you have
views on this?
its terrible. Italian corruption still hasnt gone, despite the whole affair.
Very simply, the italian FA can't afford to loose the money those clubs provide them with (especially juventus) in terms of merchandise and tv rights and so they deliberately make it possible for them to return. Horrible
:2thumbsup:
Disappointing really, was hoping Juventus had to remain in the Serie B for another season, their crime warranted it. But then again, I would prefer to see Juventus in the CL instead of say...Udinese (random name really) so in that respect it's a ''good'' thing.Quote:

The most of players are "kids".
Campbell is now a Portsmouth player, and seems to be enjoying his time there, which is nice :2thumbsup:
Gallas is good, but only equally as good as A. Cole (in the left back position at least :egypt: )
Yep, the best thing about this Arsenal team is that its so long (Fabregas only 19 etc.) it could conceivably saty together at least 5 years - improving all the time.
Good news is that AC Milan had the same penalty. :2thumbsup:Quote:
