Well yes, Navarro's right. The Basileus decides which units (after the satrap's decision of what type), and the Chancellor actually puts them in the queue (in game). Since I'm both it's really just a bureaucratic difference right now. ~;)

*G* yes, I just wondered, because Ipsos only has about 1000 Inhabitants, so the army must be built elsewhere.
What about the Armys' name? Are there rules or can I just Name it how I'd like to (f.e. 1st Phrygian Army)
AFAIK, there are no rules for the name of your army. It's just the regular armies that has to be named after the region where they were raised.
Also, you might want to update your SOT post now that you are a satrap.
I already did update it
Oh, so you had. I must have been writing under outdated info. In any case, you do have a toxotai in Sardis and a pantodapoi phalangitai in Antiocheia, so you can still add that under your army. If you want something built/raised in Ipsos you should also write it there as well.
may I move these units to Ipsos and should I ask in the Council if I wish to build a building or is it enough if I write it in the SOT Post?
And what about the Ioudaioi Taxeis in Ipsos, who do they belong to?
(Sorry for these loads of questions)
OK, I've finally got a new Rome disk so I am back into action.
You may move the units in your army as you wish, yes, and it's enough to put the queue in your SOT post. Look at the model in the first post, or on Merlinus' post if you need a practical example on how to do that.
The Ioudaioi Taxeis in Ipsos are mine. I will pick them up when I swing by on my way south.
I have a couple of things to say.
First of all thanks TCV for moving Phormion for all this time.
Second have I moved onto the right army?
Finally, do I have to edit my SOT to list my army?
No problem. If the army was the one right next to your character, then yes, that's the correct one. Since it's a garrison army and not a regular/satraps/royal one I'm not quite sure about the SOT thing though, so I'll let I-K answer that one.
Cool, yeah it was the one right next to me and had an arrow ready to move onto Phormion. Just had to make sure. Thanks.
When a unit ends it's movement in territory of Satrapy then Satrap can seize that unit no matter to whom this unit belonged before. If Satrap wants to do that he must make a statement either in Council thread, Chancellor' Reports thread or Agoraa(basically IC threads). Although, this might upset Basileus and that's not a good thing if you don't have large Satrapy and enough soldiers. :beam:
No, you don't have to put the list of the army into your SOT but it would help Basileus and Chancellor if it is there. Or what say you TCV?
OK, if it would help TCV then it's no problem. I have a word document with every detail of Phormion written anyway and it is listed there. Is the army a garrison army?
They belonged to the old satrapal army of Persepolis.
It's up to TCV now what he want's to do with them after you have destroyed those rebels.
Cool, thought they were garrisoning a city. Thanks for clearing that up. By the way I never got that ancillery I bought of the slave trader.
You did now! ~:P
Cool, thanks!
Well, technically I never stopped it's movement in anyone else's satrapy, because I left them there when it was mine. ~;p But I got it.Quote:

Currently I see here 2 Cavalry, 7 Infantry and 5 Missile trops.Quote:

So, TCV, you must recruit yourself a cavalry unit.
Everything is OK in here just wanted to point out that it has 19 Units!Quote:

Actually you're wrong, but you shed light on a different error: I had missed to type in the unit of Asiatikoi Hippakontistai that I have. Everything's fine.Quote:

If they are recruited then everything is OK.
In that case I will get myself comfortable and wait the Council Session to start! :beam:
I-K, yeah, we must be pretty rich, because we had all those units before they became my RA. I pieced that army together out of your remnants and my old satrapy army. I just hope it can be everywhere it needs to be if the shite hits the fan out here. Those boys are guarding a lot of miles of border, it's a good thing that those horsearchers are relatively cheap to support as cavalry goes.
Oh... crap. If it's autoresolved he will definitely lose. This is something I would have wanted to know beforehand so that I could move the army away from there and/or give the control to someone else. :shame:
You should PM him and ask whether he can fight it or not. ~:(
EDIT: Lol .. when ever he leads an army someone with superior forces attacks him! :beam:
In roleplay this would be a case of "prevented by an act of nature beyond control" ^^
OR .. it could be roleplayed as "the curse of 1st Parthian"! :beam:
The first commander Bithys Parthiakes won some battles but then he had to leave from WotB and the army just stood there in Azaak I think.
Then Theodoros Syriakos became it's commander. He also won some battles but in Ioudaia Alerion became inactive and the army stood on the border of AS and Ptolemaioi. I think Ptolemaioi did not attacked it because my RA was near Hierosolyma.
And then Nikanor Kybiosaktes took control over it. And the curse continued. After some time the army became inactive! :beam:
But what is the cause of the inactivity? You cannot walk into the Royal Council and say "Yo, our Armyleader is inactive, he sits on his chair and stares into space" :laugh4:
