Is it an Internet test? According to three moderators, I am a sadistic jerk, suffering from a slight form of paranoia, who is fond of manipulating my fellow co-members, so I am curious if their opinion is shared by other digital experts.

First time playing rugby was a huge success!
Today I bring my Yamaha XS 1100 Special over to my place and begin restoration. I don't start my new job till the tenth of next month, so that gives me plenty of time to work. I brought the saddle bags over two days ago, and have been spending my free time when I am not restoring my new Mauser working on them. I removed all the rivets and all of the stitching, have the metal pieces soaking in CLR remover, and washed the leather with saddle soap and applied the first treatment of Neatsfoot oil. The bottom part of the saddle bag looks almost like it is burnt and is as hard as a rock. The oil helped soften it up a bit, and I have been lightly manually working it, but am gonna mostly wait on that till I have treated it with oil a few times. I am not being my normal impatient self, and I am actually giving it a full 24 hours to do its job. lol (I got much more time on my hands than usual) I am gonna restore and re-dye the leather black, restore the metal pieces, then stitch and rivet those bad boys together. I am giving myself till when work starts on the tenth of next month.
Then over the winter I am gonna be working on getting the bike working and making a new saddle for it. I am thinking of soda blasting all the chrome parts and nickel plating that bad boy. I will post pics later.
Spending my third Halloween in a row working because apparently my professors don't think it is a real holiday. I have been so swamped and tired the past two weeks, I can't even spend time properly reading what people are saying in the backroom leading to stupid assumptions and misinterpretations.
3 days given for a MATLAB project that ended up taking 18 hours to do, now onto writing a 40 page lab report due Tuesday....
Well, replaced the rear brake pads that were ground down to nothing. I tried to flush the brake line but still no go. There is a leak somewhere, and I am not sure where. I am gonna get a new brake line, remove the reservoir, clean everything out and see what I can find. The front brakes are completely seized up and it looks like I am gonna have a job just getting them off. I opened the bleed valve though and compressed the brake lever and fluid squirted out just like it should, so at least that should be more simple. I got a battery for it and installed it, checked all the fuses and connections and everything looks good. The starter solenoid or the starter motor is no good I think though, because when I try to start it it just clicks. I can start it with the kick-start, but not with the electric starter. I can get it to turn over a few times, but not run for an extended period of time. Gotta replace the gear oil fore and aft, replace the engine oil, oil filter and air filter, and find out why it keeps leaking fuel and gear oil. Once I do that and clean the carburetor and replace the tires, I think it will be all ready to go! Another winter project for me. (makes me wish I had a heated garage)
Oh yeah, and the saddle bags are coming along great. They are gonna be permanently warped a bit as the bottom of one was burnt and shrunk quite badly by the muffler, but it gives it character. After washing them with saddle soap, then treating them many times with neatsfoot oil, stripping the old stain and redyeing them black, I am almost ready to begin stitching them up. I stripped the chrome of the buckles and other metal pieces, and am gonna electrocoat it with nickle.
Some quick before pics of the saddle bags.

Afters will come when I have finished.
Going to be so satisfying when you are done.
Yeah, I just hope I can get it all done before my new job starts on the 10th, because I will be working a lot of overtime. I have taken out all the stitching and rivets on the bags so I could restore each piece of leather individually. Now that I have done that to one bag, I am in the process of stitching that first bag up.
I can now officially claim that I can get 300 euro to get laid with a pretty atractive women. Not going to, that's ancient history, but it's still cool to tell at the schoolyard.
Nothing more sad than when your prof sends a class-wide email that amounts to "All lot of your shit sucks and is unprofessional, do better."
Got a similar mail from my boss once, followed by a personal one where he said I'm actually doing fine.
Yesterday I saw an interesting woman at the supermarket, didn't think much of it, but when I passed her she turned towards me and smiled. Immediately brightened my day but I didn't realize that I should really talk to her until it was too late and she was gone. Later on I also realized that I probably saw her before, more than a year ago and also regretted not talking to her for an evening and a day back then. Sometimes history repeats itself and idiots don't learn.
My application to university in Norway has been mailed, and in 4-5 months I will find out if I will get to live in Norway for 2 years!
English, Im pretty lucky that they had a degree program I was interested in which was also taught in english.
Still a great opertunity to pick it up though. Have a great time.
I found this is in a local supermarket. So tonight, I am going to try a Kangaroo and a Crocodile burger.
Edit:
Crocodile Burger tasted like.. fish-like pork. Wasn't keen on it.
Ostrich Burger tasted like it was beef and turkey, some kind of cheap-bought burger.
Kangaroo burger tasted like a typical burger really, but the spices hid any subtler taste.
The left-over Crocodile and Ostrich passed the dog test though.
Apparently, the Iceland box meat was simply low-quality version, and I was recommended to go to a butchers who sells quality meat versions, but admittedly, I don't think I will.
The BPS released a big report on Psychosis and Schizophrenia today which is meant to be rather groundbreaking, I haven't read through it myself, but I will be doing.

First rule of the wearing glasses club, you do not put them in a place where you can't find them.
I have found that cleaning and then painting my apartment isn't always fun. I have been shocked a few times though. Ha ha.
