That was my second guess. My first guess has to do with the question, "who has the most to gain?"Quote:

Isn't that the purple flag? I thought the black flag was improper flanking, with a penalty to movement for the Imperial side.Quote:

As EF mentioned, that was almost the plan. If that ends up happening now, Becker will just shake his head, say something to effect of 'gg Reich, LOL!' and continue on to England.Quote:

Don't mean to be rude gentlemen but this little tea party is nearly finished!
While one could interpret Matthias's late arrival as a series of bad dice rolls, my men are actually sneaking up behind Edmund Becker while he spouts his trenchant, but undecided, bon mots.
If Matthias hates one thing more than tyranny, it's neutrality.

Wow, I've just been reading the history again and this game has been immense!!
Re-reading the whole story of Sigimund and Leopold. Realising again that Sigismund, the polar opposite of Arnold, was actually Arnold's half brother...incredible stuff which I had largely forgotten.
Things would have been so much different if he has survived and he and Arnold could have lived together as a counter point to each other...
amazing really.
Also reading the first two stories TC and I did about Lothar and Arnold...at the end of both introductions we both allude to the Illuminati idea...I guess you can read them again now and realise what we had just agreed to do.
From what year AG?
Um, AG, should we be divulging private messages during the battle even if stories are theoretically seperate? That might effect planning on both sides, or at least the Imperials.
Banners can be seen by all, but the contents of messages would only be widely known afterwards.
Just my two cents.

Right at the end of both...as the GM I made sure I didn't mention anything too obvious...TC as "The Voice" was always going to be "outed" so he was way more obvious...dun dun dun!!!
Hoobastank! Maybe it'd be easier for us to win if all the Imperials weren't cheating whores!
Consider it payback for Capo II.Quote:

And yes, traited is a word!
Max Zirn is not a traitor. He (and Johann and Karl) were always Illuminati. If there is any fault, it is yours for trusting him.
Cheating whores??..their actually loyal members of the Order, my Kaiser...Quote:

I must say I'm having a ball editing the Hapsburg messenger getting his head cut off...every time I re-read it I'm touching it up here and there for added effect. LOL
Retire to Elba and then get pwned on my way back? I think not.
No island is big enough for me and my ego (IC and OOC).
Right then!!Quote:

As I said in our Quicktopic, I don't think which side Hapsburg fails to submit orders for is going to decide the battle. He could sit there and be French for all it matters to the actual fighting.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm only missing orders from Northnovas and Dutch_guy. If I get them in quickly then I might be able to implement this turn today.
You're wrong, because I haven't submitted mine. Will do ASAP, though.
Go Dutchguy go Dutchguy go dutchguy go! Between me and Fritz you should be able to figure something out!
Max Zirn turned tail and charged at Ehrhart.
"No I must kill the demons! Kill the demons! Kill the demons!" - Ehrhart shouted.
Max said, "No Ehrhart, you are the demons."
And then Ehrhart was a zombie!
And then Ehrhart was a zombie!
And then Ehrhart was a zombie!
Wait a minute? Ig played a character that pretended to be loyal to one thing and then is actually loyal to another? *sarcasm*
Please don't tell me anyone was actually surprised by that... :laugh4:
Though I do agree with OK that letters should probably be kept secret until after the battle is over. It will be difficult for people to not meta-game this development.
I still think the black flag means something else. And it's nothing to do with Hapsburg or Matthias.
I hope I'm wrong though because if I'm right, the battle is already over.
*insert dramatic music here*
Ig's going to love the rules I've got for the next game.Quote:

well the flag says 'death to tyrants' and Peter is 'the tyrant' so I gues he's gonna die. Unless I'm being stupid and something worse is going to happen...
I'm starting to realize that Saint Jan is most likely the patron saint of lost causes...Quote:
