Our war against the Asakura has little to do with honour. He struck me without remorse at a weak spot and I was able to return the favour due to the stupidity of the Asakura lord. If there had actually been a way to fight this war in Owari successfully I would had done that. As to the casualties among the Asakura family, they are unfortunate victims of this cruel war started by Asakura himself as is Shibata Katsuie and other Oda retainers. I did not want this war, but I'll damn well fight it to its bloody end. As to you Miyoshi, you should had acted sooner to successfully pursue your ambitions.Quote:

Read the early chapters. Ito, Sagara, Akizuki and Ryozoji were destroyed. Before the alliance between Shimazu and Otomo, it was Otomo that was almost destroyed.Quote:

So let's say Usuki Akihaya gets a son. And he choses to give part of the sons name from his own father, let's say his name was Nagamasu. So He gets Naga- from his grandfather. And then Sôrin, whoms actual name was Yoshishige. He bestows on Akihaya's son the part Yoshi- from his own name(which was considered a great honor btw). Usuki Akihaya's son gets the name Nagayoshi. I suppose not all combinations are legal, Naga-yoshi would work obviously because I've seen that name around. Aki-naga might also work, and Yoshi-haya. Naga-aki doesn't sound right but I could be wrong. ;) You'll just have to feel your way. Knowing only so much about japanese names.
This is just a game tho' and it doesn't really matter that much, as long as it seems believable.

Alot of these are said quickly so the sounds blend together. In the case of Shibata Katsuie, it would sound like Katsu-YAY. But if you slow the word down, every vowel can be heard.
The thing with American (English) is we have a lot of different things going on in the language with silent letters and tricky groups of letters that make different sounds in different words, I find with most languages that aren't American (English) you say every letter, and every letter has a concrete sound.
I say American because we really have split off from the English spoken in the UK and Australia. It's just like Dutch and German, very similar, but very different.
And on a related not: If you look at the line of Tokugawa Shoguns you'll notice something very interesting about most of their given names, the same goes for the Ashikaga Shoguns.

I have no intentions to betray my loyal ally Asakura Yoshikage. If you want to find people who betray their allies I am the wrong person to observe.
About Ito: Any words could not bring him back and I see no reason to comment the issue. I simply had no means to interfere in Kyushu. The only thing I could do is to start to reconsider the policy of the Shogunate towards Kyushu in order such situations be avoided and a dilaogue with the Kyushu clans be made possible.
