Re: Sengoku Jidai, Japanese interactive History
Perhaps Oda and Tokugawa would like to surrender now and avoid the shame of losing in battle? Just a suggestion...

Now, where have I heard that before? Your father gave me a very similar suggestion in the spring of 1560 and I refused. I welcomed a battle with the Serpent of Suruga and I will with sword in hand embrace any attempt by you, his spawn, to repeat his feats. Heh, but this time the odds are almost in my favour.

Asakura is in a difficult situation now and you dared to mock my son-in-law. But the times are changing, Nobunaga!
Miyoshi Chokei, Kanrei
The skirmish you speak of was an unfortunate result of my order to Shibata Katsuie to protect Omi from any Asakura attacks. I am afraid it was poorly written and led him to fight a confused skirmish against Asakura's forces. I had hoped that the ceasefire agreed upon after would had held, but sadly your son-in-law chose to turn a skirmish into a war, a war which has already taken a grievous toll and will continue to do so. As to your son-in-law being in a difficult position, he has only himself to blame. He has made critical mistakes in his campaign and he has paid a heavy price for them. I have no need to mock him, when his actions themselves do that for me.

Re: Sengoku Jidai, Japanese interactive History
Heya guys. Don't know if any of you remember me but a while ago I had played as the Shimazu clan and I think I might want to take up playing this wonderful IH again. Perhaps as the Imagawa if that's still available?
-
Re: Sengoku Jidai, Japanese interactive History
Actually the Shimazu is vacant again, so if you want to pick up where you left, there's nothing keeping you from doing so. ;)
-
Re: Sengoku Jidai, Japanese interactive History
Ah, very good. Sure, Shimazu sounds just right. Hello again, Revolting Friendship.
