Brandenburg used to be a vasall of the German Kaiser. If he wants to become King of Brandenburg, the Kaiser has to agree.
As far as i understand he is still vasall of the Polish King. If he wants to become King of Prussia, the Polish King has to agree.
Or he forces them to.

The French King wants to inform the noble sovereigns of the Christian countries as well as all the rest that he does not care at all about their fussy disputes. However, He would not be amused if these aforesaid fussy disputes slow down the pace of history and delay the next chapter.

King James of England and Scotland was King and therefore chosen by God due to the heritage of his family, while the family of the Duke of Brandemburg was not of Royal but of Ducal descent. If I were to accept that he has God's blessing, it would have to come from the only true voice of God on Earth which is His Holiness the Pope.

The Tsar poses one question:
If the only way to become a King/Emperor/Tsar is to belong to a royal line, how does one's line become royal?
I mean no disrespect to King James, a good and wise man, but his line became royal after a civil war.
Sooner or later, someone has to get their hands dirty. Will the title 'King of Prussia' be legitamised once the present King has, God forbid, passed on and left it to a son?
How then, can Wladyslaw be Tsar? I am the Tsar, through the will of God. The Boyars, obsessed with greed and other works of evil, have rebelled.
So, why am I not recognised?
With Wladyslaw as Tsar, I recommend a more Russian name. It will be good for all of us, and I might be a little more accepting.

Somehow you mixed things up.

There is only one legal King of Prussia, that is the King that is usually called King of Poland.

You call yourself csar, but you aren't.

Besides the holy rights of the king, there are also holy rights for the nobles. For example, the German Lords have the right to elect the new king. You cannot become King or Kaiser of Germany if you are not elected by them.

Same in Russia. Once you agreed that there should be a new election, you gave up your claims. After having lost the election, you were nothing but an ordinary boyar. Since you did not follow the new elected csar, you are now nothing but a rebel.

You are noble, wise and good, I have no problems with you whatsoever. Have I become the next scapegoat of the Catholic Church? I suppose baiting the Tsar must be the new fashion in Paris.
But, you have yet to acknowledge one part of my question: How does one's line become royal in your eyes?
Are they royal as soon as they become insulting, effete, religion-abusing, condescending, holier-than-thou ingrates who loose all gregarious and noble characteristics?

The Danish King wishes to announce that Polish and Swedish representatives have signed a ceasefire in Copenhagen. The peace treaty contains the following terms:
- the Polish king gives up all claims for the Swedish crown
- Riga becomes Swedish
- Danzig and Elblag are handed over to the Polish
- Sweden will promise to not attack Poland again in the coming 10 years, Poland will promise the same
- Poland pays a sum of money corresponding to the cost of 2,000 mercenaries for a year

The Tsar suggests 10 days.
However, to avoid problems, exceptions may be made if a Regent, elector or other form of leader makes an announcement of his going on holiday, that we might respect his time of rest. Holidays can last a maximum of two weeks with no contact from the leader on holiday.

The Sultan agrees with the true ruler of Russia and wishes him luck in destroying the Polish yoke of repression at the same time, in the future he will have his advicers remind him to keep a stricter schedule.

I will see if I can write the next chapter tommorrow or Friday. Remember, nowadays I'm busy in the weeks so I can only write in the weekends. That means deadlines for decisions should preferably be timed to Thursdays or Fridays. Late Saturday or Sunday or Monday means the most waiting from last received decisions until next chapter.
