Baen, i hope you dont mind but i moved Legio II forward last turn as you seemed to of not had the time to do it. I know full well the stress RL can put on these games so I hope you dont mind. You move is open this turn i did not do that so you time to besiege Segestica is now :yes:

also, because their is a Dux Campaign in progress, all Tribuni will be noted of any battles they serve in it, but will not be promoted until it is over. So I will know who gets their promotion dont worry, its just that as it is in progress you must serve your time out as a second or third command in one of this games highest honors. :smash:

Oh, and is Avlvs Aemilii (SwissBarbar) still allowed to be in Legio II, if he's the Tribunus Plebis? If so would he just not be promoted afterwards?

Marcellus seems to be the most active out of any of the characters in legio III (maybe even in the whole BTSH). Perhaps he should have the same movement powers as potocello? Potocello seems to have lots of RL issues going on.

Marcellus will be a Legate after this campaign. If he doesnt get his own legion he can always challenge Potocello for leadership. I think that should be played more often; a web of apparant and loose alliances, with lots of backstabbings and competition. It will make the game much more interesting.

yes, and apparently Tiberius (aka Marcellus) is the most unpredictable character in the Curia, so I (and Cicero) might even think challenging Longus for command is possible.

Very interesting conversations...... O:-) Of course, I would only ever attempt to take control of the Legion from such a good in-game friend if he really just couldn't keep playing IRL. But, I am willing to take that option, I already set up the RP aspect w/ some PM's between me, Scipio, and Longus.

Perhaps we may need an emergency session in the Senate to proclaim a new leader of the Legio III if Poto is unable to play?

oh boy looks like a lot happens when i go away for the weekend. i can keep playing and i can move the Legio III around but i have school and work during the day. this means that the only time i can really play is at night time and on the weekends.
not going to lie, i would be pretty bummed if i lost the legio III :shame:

If this is an issue, i guess BtSH isn't for me

I would be too, you're good to play with. I don't think that you'll lose it. A suggestion, if you're open to it: Update your SOT so that way one of us in the legion or the COL can move your legion for you when you know you'll be away. It's not like we're going to take it someplace far away and delete all the units, you know? And, if you know you'll be away for a few days just give a heads up!

Yes, you would love to see Legio III have inter-legion strife (I just made up a hyphenated word) . We are the most united of all the legions, I can assure you.

How do I know? Marcellus was at my place last week for tea time. And we are both american. Beat that.

In any case it's not summer in my save, at least not the summer of 261 BCE. Otherwise I couldn't have reached Segestica. (I literally had to force march through the summer to even get within range.)

It says Autumn in Everyones latest report, yet your save is still summer. Your besieging Segestica but I'm still building the rams. Maybe Everyone wrote Autumn rather than Summer

Did you actually check the traits? You can't trust anything else. (And if I'm besieging Segestica, then it can't be summer 261 BCE, or someone else decided to give me exactly as much movement points as I would get in autumn. ~;))

But it is summer, I loaded the game three times to check. Thats what I dont understand
