Okay guys, will this computer run M2TW at maximum settings?
Core4 ThetaAlphaPrime 800.000*5Hz
400*5MB RAM in 400-channel mode
AMD Radeon MXVI1000 128kb DDR9
I don't want to derive the thread but I also never used invisible mode, not even when requested, and neither did I look at people's profiles for hours to find out what they're doing.

The game starts with a night phase. Results will be posted at +/- 22h00 tonight (GMT +2). First day will start then and will last for +/- 24 hours. During that period you can vote. Person with the most votes at the end of the day will get lynched.Quote:

Where did you hear about quicktopic?
b.) I read in Netherworld that gameroom players use it.
Why? Does possession of basic internet knowledge automatically seem guilty to you. :laugh4:
From who? The shimmering wraith who fears internet knowledge possessed by others? Perhaps it is you I should be watching...Quote:

Welcome Privateer!
Did you read the motto over the Gameroom entrance? It starts "Abandon hope...."
And, I see you've had a chance to meet Kojiro-san....

Thank you! :bow:Quote:

Anyone who talks a lot in these games makes an impression. The more people talk, the more evidence the other players feel they have to make a judgment call on them. Not talking much at all for multiple lynch sessions is a decent reason to ramp up pressure on someone. At the same time, talking too much isn't useful if you have nothing useful to say. If you're townie, your higher profile only gives the mafia something to hide behind. If you're mafia, you just make people concentrate more attention on you. There's a happy-medium in there somewhere that is very difficult to reach, plus there are always exceptions to any strategy.Quote:

Very true. From reading Netherworld, I have come to following conclusions.Quote:

From all of this I have concluded that anything I do will look suspicious to at least one person. But your point about giving mafia something to hide behind has been well taken. I will step back and watch the game veterans. And learn...
NO U.
I win the argument.
PK, Sarathos took a phrase, and modified it from "So, i herd u liek mudkipz" to his current thing. Fear not, he was punished. (see my above post)
Watch out for Kommodus, he knows us better than we know ourselves. I really want to know what makes me look like mafia.
You're obviously guilty. Give it up already.Quote:

This post edges on slanderous, another mafia tactic.Quote:

I disagree. It only gives the mafia something to hide behind if there are enough lazy people who don't read the thread closely for the mafioso's machinations to go unnoticed.Quote:

I see that as a distinction without a difference.Quote:

Your post edges on slanderous. And a very good player has said on this board that, that is another mafia tactic.Quote:

Done? Or do you want to keep going?
*tries to stare at the wraith but can't focus on the shimmering*
As I said, there are exceptions to every strategy. Being in the limelight generally increases your risk of getting lynched/whacked, especially if you're speaking without a purpose or plan. However, it's very possible to intentionally grab center stage, as it is an effective place from which to manipulate others. Plus, even dying isn't a bad thing, if it helps your side win.Quote:

I think I'm warmed up. Hopefully we have set the tone for discourse a little higher than the usual first round "hmm nothing to go on yet lol vote:abstain see you next round".
I swear after playing a bunch of mafia I now see through movie villains plots quicker than I used too. Their lies can be so obvious!Quote:

Already editing your posts in this thread Sasaki? Carefully grooming the record of early posts to shape a particular interpretation? Just what form of "higher tone" are you trying to inculcate?Quote:

So, Sasaki-san, you edited out the "joke" that just happens to be classic WIFOM stuff. Surely you did this just to keep things "clear and understandable..."
