To another vote with poor reasoning this whole third vote is mafia is silly in my mind since any mafia worth his salt knows not to vote third since many people like to vote for the people who do that.

How anyone is lynched at all, with that happening all the time, is beyond me...
Wait... if a mafia is getting a bandwagon on him, I think, calling third joining it guilty is a safe way to get suspicion off him and confuse everyone else. FoS FH

I've done a bit of thinking about this secret vote changing and I can't think of a single reason that a townie would want to use it beyond being saved from retribution... but even then why are they scared of retribution? Besides, I believe that it does 'clear' some townies, or at least severely decreases the odds of them being guilty. Let me explain...
To take our current situation of:
White Eyes 3 (White Eyes, Sigurd, FactionHeir)
FactionHeir 3 (Captain Blackadder, shlin28, Warman)
Suppose that this is how it remains at the lynch deadline, but we find out that FactionHeir is lynched, doesn't that mean that Captain Blackadder, shlin and Warman can only be one of the two mafia members? Thus reducing the odds of them being mafia, at least from a purely statistical point of view.
Any thoughts on this theory?

Actually in that scenario, any of the voters can be mafia members, including those who didn't vote, voted abstain or voted someone else, because they change their vote in secret.
Btw, I think the vote's 4-2 now btw.

Yes I know, but if we can knock a few people down the list of suspicious players then I feel something has been accomplished. The point is that those who were openly already voting someone are less likely to be mafia.

I don't think we can take the risk of not lynching him. If he should survive he can be killed again by Greyblades. I assume you are a vigilante from what you say that is, unless you are WE's scum buddy of course.

I disagree most suicide roles involve lynching as the only way to win/get more powers or whatever it is simply let him die by vig and he will most likly stay dead and get no nice new powers.
