My password, by the way, is the same in all hotseats. Everyone probably knows it; if I have to trust you all not to cheat in the ways allowed by the broken MTWII engine I might as well trust you not to cheat by using my PW. ;)

Hey guys, I'm having some upload difficulties, but please note that My turn is done, While i'm waiting for my dumb internet to work again, I want you all to do me a favor, Please if you have time, play a campaign by yourself. See if a CTD happens? If it does, please send me the turn before it. I've heard 1 person say it gives a CTD, and if it is so, then this Hotseat is in very big trouble / danger, luckily, we are still right at the start and that means i can easily modify the start so every one is at location at they were at the start of turn 3!

Merlox, I have a SP campaign at around turn 4 or 5 with no CTD so far. Do you want me to hit end turn a few times to see what happens? Which turn was the CTD that was reported to you?
If I have time later I can investigate a little.

The things what i changed, Was economies, starting locations, "No Dead Cities", Forts enabled, and Forts stay forever, and crusade / jihad movements modifiers had been downed from 2.5 to 1.5
So far all of these have been tested, The one that that has not been tested yet.
Is the Children cap 4 to 6. (To help prevent family death and faction turning rebels)
So, if that is the problem, I can easily fix that. and be able to copy / paste all of the current progress this game has done into a new game. where the children cap is back to 4.
It has to be the children cap if there is, I played 25 turns with out the game fail, but night bringer said there is a crash, and this game with out the hotseat patch is garenteed 300+ turns with out crash.
(I'm trying really hard to upload this turn... mayeb it be better if phonics, get MSN or .live messenger and get it from me, or any one... For some reason my websites been having a MAJOR problem while every other online application seems fine and lag free.) -_- I am sorry for the delay I am causing.

I don't have any of those messenger thingummies, I think I'm a bit long in the tooth for that stuff :embarassed:
EDIT: by the way, I'm sorry but I don't think I have time to play the SP campaign long enough to test the children cap...I have a 7 month old son who is keeping me pretty busy in RL at the moment!

ya, i was consistently having games stop working after about 10 turns. this occured in two games i already had and three new ones i started. after removing the hotseat patch i was able to continue from where the crash occured without difficulty. it may have just been a system specific problem for me though

K this is stalling a bit too much. If it's not on in 24h I'll have to skip the turn, sorry Merlox.
In other news, I've been contacted by someone on TWC, Balthor, who would like to join. No faction precision yet, I'm just asking on principle. The campaign is started, though we're only on turn 3 (going on turn 4). I'd allow it, but please, vote in this thread in the next 48h (yes - no - abstain - by simple majority).

Please if we could find out if Nightbringer's bug is just his system, or a very big problem, It would be something that /could/ save this hotseat if found out early enough.

Merlox, why don't you use the starting save I posted for Cultured. It has no pw entered. Personally, I've finished a Kievan Rus SP and had no problems. But I'm not sure about the family tree.

Thank you Lemongate, As you know, I am 100% trying to make this hotseat, the best hotseat ever, that is why when I hear of a problem that nightbringer says, It put's me on high alert to find if this problem is a bug on my side with the hotseat patch, or hotseat patch that makes hotseats amazing.
I even found out my recent 1.1 patch makes rebels seem alive, As I was Lithuania, expanding my empire, Rebels attacked my very low garrisoned towns! this was a first!
any ways, I am glad to hear that Lemongate had no problems, it makes me rest at easy for now.

I also have problems in singleplayer. I started 2 campaigns, one with the templars, one with the english and both crashed. I hope this multiplayer campaign will be free of such things.

I have been forced to sub a second time for Ignoramus who's away for the weekend.
Here's Denmark.
If Igno doesn't return to play his third turn, I'll set the faction to AI. I believe it would be good to have a rule: someone is absent 3 turns in a row, he's out of the game.
Also, I've allowed Balthor from TWC to join in if he wishes to.
