Lol you have to be 19. Tough luck, hombrez.
Better than 21, though.

Australia still beats you.
Start drinking around 12, legally drink at 18.
Sex at 16 is good as well.

Sounds like Alberta.
Re: I can now sigh a breath of relief...
Plus in Alberta the state government gives you free money I heard. They were making such a profit they just sent everyone a check...

You seem to be missing the point. Adult supervision + underage drinking = lame
Re: I can now sigh a breath of relief...
yeah, buuuut if they're like 19 yr old adults, not so lame.
Re: I can now sigh a breath of relief...
Congrats...Now enjoy college the way you want to enjoy it. Everyone has their own opinion, but yours really is the only one that matters.

No offence dude, but nineteen year olds aren't interested in helping underage kids drink, unless they're close family.
Re: I can now sigh a breath of relief...
whatever it doesnt even matter. we can just stop talking about it.
Re: I can now sigh a breath of relief...
Fine. I'm going down to my college bar in five minutes anyway :barrel:

Yeah, the crown corporations do that over here, too, but we're obviously not as boomingly rising up in the world like those effing Albertans are. Bastards. But yeah, I remember getting a cheque for 20-some bucks and bought a few beers at the bar with that. Good time.
Also, it's "provincial government," not "state government." Jesus, Rhy, we're brothers of the commonwealth. Get your damn information right, you backwater Brit.

Well if you replace nineteen with twenty one, that statement isn't always true in America. How do you think all the freshmen and sophmores got booze? We would pay some kid like 20% of the total price of the alcohol to go buy it for us. Like most things, it boils down to money :).
Re: I can now sigh a breath of relief...
our liquors stores and bars dont check id. 90% of their business is my university. so thats how this freshmen gets alcohol

Reported.

Wow, a real life hijacked thread.
:hijacked:
Re: I can now sigh a breath of relief...
It feels good going into a liquor store and legally buying alcohol, though. Especially when there's a cute girl working the till.
I like brunettes.

I can now breath. No more college essays, no more worrying about whether Ill get in...
Senioritis, here I come!
don't be a fool: the worst thing you can possibly do is to get lazy in your senior year: you'll just end up getting out of the swing of things, and you won't be as quick to adjust to College. at least that's what I observed in friends of mine who did this.

Sometimes I wonder if I would have done better working full-time for a year after high school instead of driving straight to university (it sort of felt like nose-diving into a deep pool without water), but then again... Would the situation truly have been better? I tell myself not to dwell on that.
Don't get lazy, Hooah! "Work hard and get laid," that's my motto.
