Yeah, it was only two hours. Surely he has time to come here at your command. Considering your impatience, I am going to vote for you. vote:SoulBlade

No problem, scums are known for their impatience. Agree fellow townies? You're in my FoS.

Very well, ____.
I am merely somewhat subdued, having received news of the assassination of Petronius Arbiter last night.
I enjoyed his poetry. His death is indeed a loss.
I find it notable that his hands were cut from his body post mortem. The same hands that mere hours earlier had pointed at you in accusation. I think it is clear who bears the responsibility for this murder.

Re: The Rise and Fall of Vespasian [In Play]
For the peoples' convenience, here's a tally:
2 x Gibonsg (Soulblade, johnhughtom)
2 x Populus Romanus (Mortmorency, Autolycus)
2 x SoulBlade (classical_hero, Ishmael)
1 x Mortmorency (Populus Romanus)
1 x Issaikhaan (ATPG)
1 x Bestrfcplayer (Visorslash)
NB: Autolycus, I'll probably move my vote off you, but I just need some time to work out who to.

Incidentally SoulBlade, this probably isn't the greatest defence, as classical_hero was accusing you of impatience.

Re: The Rise and Fall of Vespasian [In Play]
Okay, this will be my last consecutive post, I promise!
unvote, vote: SoulBlade
For a few reasons:
a) He seems very eager to accuse people of scumminess, often based on a flimsy premise:

Whilst this can be a sign of scum (in association with other clues), the way SoulBlade aggressively and assertively stated it, with no other supporting evidence, seems a tad suspicious.

c) His voting this round is somewhat suspicious. Specifically, he was fourth on the 'Lynch the Lurkers' bandwagon, and whilst I said earlier this is insufficient evidence by itself, in association with the above it provides a little more support. And again, his aggressive tone when he ordered Gibonsg to "Show yourself!" seems to be trying too hard.
There you have it, possibly my largest ever post on the .Org and my first usage of the multiquote tool. I will freely admit that this case is all circumstantial, but it raises the odds of Soulblade being Mafia to much higher than that of other members, and to me that is sufficient reason to lynch him.
EDIT: I've edited my earlier tally to avoid making another post.

It's because you never want to cuddle or talk about my day.
I'm not just a piece of meat, you know. I'm also different kinds of meat, vegetables, cheese, tomato sauce, spices, and baked crust.

If any one meat could satisfy me, I wouldn't have six different kinds at once. I need different shapes, sizes, flavors. Variety is the spice of life, and I demand spicy meat.

Of course, this is point of the game! The more eager, the more I want to win the game!

If I don't have any evidence, then I will force my lynch candidate to post so he can defend himself. The way he defends will determine his nature. Of course the defending may take a lot of posts.
I realise this last one was intended to be humorous, but with the other comments it gives the impression of trying a little too hard.
Too hard? My lynch candidate was still absent, or maybe lurking? I can't know! So I call him again.
b) He was implicitly opposed to keeping a tally, which provides a voting record for the town to use later
I didn't "oppose", just pointed out that the mod has a role and obligation to keep track of the votes. Of course, if you volunteer, it will just help our cause to hunt down scums.

How my voting is suspicious? My first vote was against the first bandwagon on Day 1 when Warman immediately voted second for the same guy. On Day 2, I was looking out for lurker, not on the "lurker bandwagon" - it was my decision. The "Show yourself" was a second call, which didn't help, unfortunately.

You're making a mistake, and you will regret it. Or it will just help your scummy cause?
EDIT: I've edited my earlier tally to avoid making another post.
My arguments in purple, 'cause it's my favourite colour.
Edit: If I was a scum, I'd really try to blend in, but the way I behaved I wanted to force people to answer me so I can see how they will react. So by acting aggressively, I indirectly caught your attention. Did I catch a fellow scummy of yours?

As the day ends in Rome once more there appears to be a three way tie. The Consul of the day looks at this and stands and proclaims the following.
As it has being decided that we cannot make a decision my fellow Romans have have asked the the Pontifex Maximus comes here to tell us what signs the gods have given us this day. As the man steps forward making various mutterings about the luck of the gods.Over time the Pontifex falls into a trance as the senators await his decision talking about various things suddenly the Pontifex screams to the heavens that the gods of justice have made their decision. The Pontifex stands moving to point to who it is that will die this day. As the various Senators cringe under the hand of the Pontifex one stares him down and it is this man that the Pontifex points to. The man is Soulblade or Gaius Licinius Mucianus the governor of Syria. This man who had much reason to hate Vespasian would be the one to die.For it was Vespasian who took his command in Syria and prevented him from having a triumph. As Gaius is dragged out he screams and curses Vespasian to the roof tops saying things that could not be said in polite company
Gaius Licinius Mucianus (Soulblade) is dead

Sorry mate, nothing personal. Incidentally Captain Blackadder, when you say we'll know the person lynched was mafia, how obvious do you mean it will be? Will you outright state it, or will it be more subtle?

It won't say next to them that they are mafia but even a glance at the write up should tell you if they are scum.
