Last night: Chicken Moambe with plantain, spinach and pap. Going down with Talisker straight.
AFRICAN food => the best !
Barbequed pork with some very nice peanut satay sauce and topped with a handful of prawn crackers, bought from a Dutch foodstall at the fair of the International school here, washed down with some light brown Duvel ale, from the Belgian stand.
Yum.:2thumbsup:
Delicious ! That's called Babi satay right ?
Duvel must have hurt though. LOL after 6 of those it's headache heaven, that and oblivion is not far either.
Pork loin Florentine on a bed of linguine topped with Parmesan cheese and a fresh loaf of crusty Italian bread.
Mm, sounds good, Hosa. Had Italian myself tonight, spaghetti alla puttanesca. yummy
Lebanese take-out. Shish-taouk, falafels, rice, salad. Some left over for lunch tomorrow, too.
And a beer.
Good stuff.
Olive Garden take-out: 'Seafood Portofino' (scallops, shrimp & clams on linguine in a white sauce).
Mrs. Kukri picked it up on the way home. Sure beats the pork-roast leftovers I was gonna make :)
Oh; 'and a beer'.
dunno what it is but its delicious
Crispy spicy duck. Very tasty.
Handfulls of wild strawberries for breakfast
A huge kebab, with french fries, and that Libyan bread thingy. The kebab was kind of spicy, and I threw down 2 vanilla ice creams along with it, and a nice big 1l bottle of Sprite too.
I dont do alcohol. ~;)
Home made Onion Rings

Domino's pizza, baby.:charge: :jester:
A very rich and tasty Surinamese soup that fills you quite well, as it is eaten (at least I assume) as a main meal; not as light pre-main food -- it has it all; rice, chicken meat, potato-like "casava", cooked banana, and more, not forgetting the main soup itself all over it.
I don't know the name's translation to English, but its taste is highly excellent.
A homemade roast chicken Caesar salad with Cajun black eyed peas. My woman made it. It was startlingly good.
Chicken enchiladas and black bean soup.
A kick-ass sandwich with Black forest ham, romanian lettuce, awesome tomatoes, smoked provolone (or however the hell you spell it), peppered smoked turkey, pepperjack cheese, jalepenos, red onion, white onion, yellow onion, mayonaise....yummmm....a good dagwood meal. Makes me hungry just rememberin' it.
A pig's ear.
No seriously I ate a Schweineohr today. The first person that figures out what this really is, since I didn't eat a real pig's ear get's a cookie.
*steals the cookie from you anyway!* :)
Today I ate... I hardly remember, but I recall eating a very tasty baopao during the nocturnal part of the day. It was after twelve so it counts as today as I type.
My pride.
Woke up this morning outside my flat still drunk having had a silly amount of alcohol yesterday, and then left without bringing my keys with me. Oops.
Otherwise... Reheated roast pork and mash (the best bit: potato, sweet potato, spring onions and a small amount of apple). Though the chicken and avocado wrap I had for lunch was very nice too, but I didn't make it.
Hamburgers on the grill with German potato salad. Sooey!
I had a couple pasties...but those took a lot out of yesterday to make (but man, were they worth it..)
edit: Pot stickers, sweet & sour sauce, hashbrowns, and real bacon
Spaghetti with a red clam sauce. Marinated artichoke hearts, garlic toast, small caesar salad. I do love my Italian.
Caramel Apple Breading Pudding, made fresh by our baker. First time I'd tried it, and it was all I could do not to eat a second serving. Absolutely decadent.
Peasoup with pieces of sausages and Heineken beer as beverage. (I must locate true tasty stout beer somewhere; a REAL man's beer.)
I walked up to Gus' Pretzels today for munch and had 2 bratzels. Those are goooooood. Its a brat cooked inside pretzel dough. Mmmmm!!!!

Saved this thread from the precipice. A grilled sirloin burger with crumbled blue cheese mixed in, topped with onion, lettuce & tomato (fresh from the garden). Two ears of corn-on-the-cob and washed down with two bottles of Stella Artois.
Hosakawa's hamburger puts mine to shame :shame:
FOOOOOD!!!!!:cake:
