Definitely something we should consider.
After all, if Pearl cheated and put 1 empty Pokeball in, what was stopping Red from putting 3 empties in, especially if he's the bad guy?

Hello
I decided now on I will roleplaying my charactor.:

Chalk this up to host error/artistic liberty. I had an Espeon and an Ampharos in my HG team, and the Ampharos had Focus Blast, but I somehow attributed it to Espeon instead while writing that. :laugh4:
Basically I intended to show that the battle between Espeon and Kangaskhan was no contest.
There's an error in a previous write-up as well: Magcargo used Stealth Rock, which it is incapable of learning.
In other news, I will be able to have the write-up done next morning, most likely.
I always taught my pokemon moves that were there type because I was a sucker for STAB.
Now my Krookodile knows Crunch and my Samurott knows Blizzard.
No contest? Really?
I love Espeon, but I have to concede that Kanga would wipe the floor with it; as soon as Espy moves to attack, Kanga uses Sucker Punch, Espy faints.
I let that one slide because Magcargo sucks, it needs all the help it can get! :PQuote:

However, I have to admit I was surprised that it managed to use SR before Empoleon was able to hit it... in reality, that fight would have ended similarly to Mamoswine-Garchomp.
In Ruby Version, I had a purple Magcargo.
Anyway, maybe it had a Quick Claw.
Night 3
That night, the trainers took the announcer’s advice into account one way or another. They had all known beforehand that it was trained Pokemon, not wild ones as the announcer claimed, who were attacking the trainers at night. Some believed it to be an honest mistake, and felt it safe to stay in the rooms as suggested. Others, however, became suspicious of the announcer, whom they had never seen, and went back into the depths of the cave to seek safety.
Maxie had found himself a dark, cavernous room to stay in for the night.
Though Maxie could not see very well, his Crobat was well adapted to such situations, and would have an advantage over any adversary who tried to attack him here. As soon as Maxie heard footsteps, leapt to his feet and sent out his Crobat.
“Go, Magnezone!”
https://i709.photobucket.com/albums/...agnezone-1.png VS https://i709.photobucket.com/albums/...69Crobat-1.png
Maxie winced when he heard the name of the adversary he was facing. Crobat’s advantage had suddenly vanished into thin air. Magnezone was resistant to all of Crobat’s attacks, and on top of that was unfazed by darkness since it “saw” through electrical impulses.
“Crobat! Use Air Slash!”
Crobat glided in a wide arc with its four wings, and whipped up an air current that slashed at Magnezone. The steel Pokemon, however, was barely scratched by the attack, and simply kept floating forwards.
“Now use Cross Poison!”
Crobat shot like a dart at Magnezone, covering itself in venom. However, when it struck Magnezone, Crobat simply bounced off of it harmlessly, and the poison that got on Magnezone dripped off onto the floor without sinking in. Crobat was stunned by the impact.
“Magnezone, use Thunderbolt!”
Magnezone flooded Crobat with electricity. The bat-like creature screeched terribly as it was electrocuted and paralyzed by the attack. It fell to the floor and tried to flop about unsuccessfully.
“Finish it with Magnet Bomb!”
A magnetic blast repulsed Crobat and sent it flying into a stalagmite column, where it crashed and fell to the floor, unmoving. Maxie cursed under his breath, but dared not recall it for fear of giving away his position. The Magnezone slowly swept around the room, but did not find him.
After Maxie heard the annoyed trainer and Magnezone leave, he returned his Crobat and left as well, silently and carefully.
-------------------------------------
Gold was sleeping in one of the rooms provided near the arena.
His Scizor was diligently keeping watch outside his door, and continued to do so until a blast of air from huge wings knocked over both door and Scizor. In the doorway stood a familiar, draconic figure.
https://i709.photobucket.com/albums/...harizard-1.png VS https://i709.photobucket.com/albums/...12Scizor-1.png
Gold woke up with a start as his Scizor leapt to its feet, then nearly panicked when he saw the massive Charizard in his doorway. He loudly shouted to his Scizor.
“Use Iron Head!”
Scizor charged full-force into Charizard, head first. It impacted Charizard in the gut, and the dragon-like creature stumbled back into the hallway wall. The Charizard merely grunted as if amused, and with a flap of its wings knocked back the Scizor.
“Fire Blast!”
Charizard began amassing an enormous fireball in its mouth. Desperate to protect its trainer, Scizor leapt in front of the doorway and blocked it. Charizard released the Fire Blast.
“No! Scizor!”
Scizor dropped to its knees and then fell face-first into the floor, charred black. The Charizard let out a deep, throaty roar that sounded conspicuously like a laugh, and then began to move forward into the room, threatening Gold. Gold, fearing for his life, shouted for help.
At this point, many of the other trainers had been stirred awake and began to open their doors. Just before the Charizard could attack, the trainer recalled the Pokemon and fled. Merely seconds later, the trainers arrived to find Gold and Scizor, completely alone.
-------------------------------------------
Ruby was on an island in the middle of a section of the cave with a small lake in the center.
He rested cautiously, but did not sleep. He was ready when he heard footsteps and shouting.
“Go, Roserade! Use Razor Leaf!”
The Roserade appeared on the other side of the lake and shot a bunch of spinning, razor-sharp leaves at Ruby, who threw himself to the ground to dodge them.
“Use Surf!”
https://i709.photobucket.com/albums/...Roserade-1.png VS https://i709.photobucket.com/albums/...Tentacruel.png
Ruby’s Tentacruel burst up out of the lake, riding a wall of water that crashed down on Roserade, sending it sprawling to the ground. Roserade quickly got up at its trainer’s command.
“Giga Drain, now!”
Roserade jabbed its flowery arms at the beached Tentacruel and began draining energy from it. The only thing that Roserade could return to its own body, however, was Tentacruel’s poisonous, gelatinous ooze. It recoiled from the shock of its own Giga Drain hurting itself.
“Hit it with Ice Beam!”
Tentacruel shot a blast of supercooled air straight at Roserade, freezing it solid. Then it leapt back into the water. Ruby cheered from his island as the hidden trainer snarled with anger.
“Good job, Tentacruel!”
“I’ll show you cold! Go, Walrein!”
https://i709.photobucket.com/albums/...5Walrein-1.png VS https://i709.photobucket.com/albums/...Tentacruel.png
The Pokeball landed in the water and Walrein was released under it. The two aquatic Pokemon wrestled under the water, their trainers unable to see much of the battle going on.
“Use Ice Fang!”
Tentacruel and Walrein rose to the surface. Walrein was clamped onto Tentacruel with its powerful tusks, emanating a freezing aura from its mouth. Tentacruel flailed around and managed to dislodge it, rolling Walrein over onto the ground.
“Freeze the water, Walrein!”
Walrein shot an Ice Beam at the surface of the water, and Tentacruel ducked under it. The ice spread over the surface, leaving Tentacruel trapped underwater, underneath a thick sheet of ice.
“Now just go for the trainer!”
Walrein began sliding over the ice toward Ruby’s island, tusks outstretched and ready to gore him.
“Poison Jab!”
Tentacles shot up through the ice and struck Walrein from underneath. Walrein was knocked on its side and its charge was broken. As it floundered in getting up, it began to feel woozy from the poison.
“Now Constrict it!”
Several of Tentacruel’s tentacles now wrapped themselves tightly around Walrein, both further stinging it and preventing it from moving. After a few seconds, Walrein passed out, and Tentacruel let go of it before bursting up through the ice and shattering it into small, platform-sized chunks. The mysterious trainer cursed and returned the Pokemon.
“Go, Espeon!”
https://i709.photobucket.com/albums/...96Espeon-1.png VS https://i709.photobucket.com/albums/...Tentacruel.png
Espeon landed at the edge of the lake. Ruby looked worried now. Espeon’s Psychic abilities would have a distinct advantage over Tentacruel’s natural poison.
“Use Psybeam!”
Tentacruel was struck in the face with a blast of Psychic energy, and spun around in confusion.
“Traverse the ice with Agility.”
Using incredible speed, Espeon began leaping from one icy platform to the next, seemingly unfazed by their slipperiness. Tentacruel, struggling with confusion, was unable to halt its advance.
“Snap out of it, Tentacruel! Use Ice Beam!”
Though Tentacruel did as told, Espeon leapt over the blast with ease and landed right in front of Tentacruel.
“Shadow Ball!”
From the jewel at its forehead, Espeon built up a ball of dark energy and launched it at Tentacruel, who was struck in the face and knocked backwards. The jellyfish Pokemon looked very weak and about to collapse.
“Psybeam!”
“Duck!”
As Espeon launched another Psybeam, Tentacruel mustered enough strength to quickly sink itself under the water and dodge the attack.
“Use Poison Jab, Tentacruel!”
Espeon, able to see short distances into the future, leapt to another ice platform and dodged the first tentacle. However, it started to slide, and was unable to move away from the second tentacle, which knocked it into the lake. Espeon was unable to move effectively in the chilled water.
“Now use Surf!”
Tentacruel created a huge wave again, and it carried Espeon all the way back to the lake shore before sending it crashing hard into the rocky ground. Espeon was too weak to get back to its feet. The trainer returned the Pokemon to its ball and disappeared without another word.
“Great job, Tentacruel!”
Ruby cheered and returned the Pokemon to its ball so it could rest. Then Ruby did the same.
--------------------------------
The next morning all of the trainers returned once again to the arena.
“Welcome, trainers! It appears that both Gold and Maxie have lost all of their Pokemon. Unfortunately, both of you will be unable to continue battling in this tournament. I must warn you all again of the dangers of the wild Pokemon in this cave. The tournament, however, must go on. Let today’s voting begin!”

But not DiY.
Day 4
As soon as the votes were tallied, the announcer began to speak and get the duel started.
“Greetings, trainers! You have selected today’s competitors to be: Red, the undefeated Champion of Kanto, and Diamond, a powerful Pokemon master from the Sinnoh region. Will Red, down one Pokemon, continue to dominate the competition? Or will newcomer Diamond manage to bring him down a peg? We’re about to find out! Red should proceed to the red corner, naturally, and Diamond to the blue corner.”
https://i709.photobucket.com/albums/...tion/Red-1.png VS https://i709.photobucket.com/albums/...on/Diamond.png
The two trainers proceeded to their places. Red was silent and calm, as usual, while Diamond was jittery, and trying to psych himself up for the battle. Once Diamond appeared to be ready, he became impatient and hardly able to stand still.
“Hey! Hey Red!”
“…”
“Hey, Red, are you ready yet?”
“…”
“Come on, let’s go, I can’t wait all day! I’ve got a battle to win! I’ve gotta show you my new tactic!”
“…”
This went on for about 30 seconds before the announcer cut in.
“Let the battle begin!”
“…”
“Go, Heracross!”
https://i709.photobucket.com/albums/...96Espeon-1.png VS https://i709.photobucket.com/albums/...4Heracross.png
Red had sent out Espeon once again, while Diamond chose Heracross. Since Heracross needed to get in close for combat, Espeon’s Psychic abilities would be able to damage it before it could get a hit in. Then again, if Heracross’s attacks did manage to connect, they would be devastating to Espeon.
“Go Heracross! Megahorn!”
Heracross lowered its horn, and began charging straight towards Espeon. Espeon, who looked somehow menacing, merely sat still, awaiting the attack. Even when Heracross’s horn was a mere six inches away from it, Espeon didn’t move. And it didn’t flinch when Heracross crashed straight into its invisible Reflect barrier and was thrown backwards.
“Do it again!”
Heracross rammed into the Reflect barrier again, this time shattering it, but by the time it got through Espeon had effortlessly leaped out of the way. Stealing a quick glance at Red, it turned to Heracross and its eyes began glowing.
“Heracross, run away!”
It was far too late for Heracross to run. Espeon used Psychic power to lift it into the air, where it flailed and struggled without any success. Heracross was then lifted up until it crashed into the ceiling, then smashed back down into the ground. After assessing Heracross’s condition, Espeon dropped the bug Pokemon, and it was already unconscious before it hit the floor.
“Heracross is unable to battle! Espeon is the winner!”
“No need to worry! I’ve got a strategy that I specifically developed just to counter that!”
Diamond took only a few seconds to develop something vaguely resembling a strategy and sent out his next Pokemon.
“Go, Torterra!”
https://i709.photobucket.com/albums/...96Espeon-1.png VS https://i709.photobucket.com/albums/...89Torterra.png
Before Torterra could do anything, Espeon began glowing with Psychic power again, and lifted the giant turtle Pokemon into the air. It attempted to fling it around like a rag doll, as it had done with Heracross, but Torterra was much heavier, and Espeon could not do much besides slam it back into the ground. Torterra looked shaken up, but the hardy Pokemon could withstand far more punishment than that.
“Ha! See, I got you there! Torterra, use Leaf Storm!”
From the forest on its back, Torterra launched series of razor-sharp leaves, which quickly turned into a full-blown storm of them. Espeon held up its Reflect barrier, and the leaves were quickly chipping away at it.
“I expected you to do that, too! Now use Earthquake!”
By stomping the ground with its huge feet, Torterra made the ground shake violently, throwing Espeon off-balance and causing its barrier to fade. It was struck with the last few leaves from the storm and knocked over.
Red’s face was hidden by the brim of his hat for the moment. Clearly the Espeon was trained to win, and to win quickly, but never expected to hold out once the tables were turned.
“Go charge it, Torterra!”
Torterra began a slow march towards Espeon, moving as fast as it could (which incidentally, was not very fast at all). Espeon got back to its feet and ran away from it, but Torterra was so large in comparison that despite its slowness, once it got moving it was able to corner Espeon easily.
“That’s it!”
Espeon desperately fired a Focus Blast at Torterra. The huge creature was struck in the face and knocked back a few feet. It looked as if in pain, but it wasn’t ready to stop just yet.
“Now, Torterra! Use Wood Hammer!”
Swinging its front leg like a club, Torterra smashed it into Espeon, who was knocked a few yards into the air by the blow. When Espeon landed, it struggled to get back up, but failed, falling back to the ground.
“Espeon is unable to battle! Torterra is the winner!”
Silently, Red returned his Espeon and held his last Pokeball. Without a moment wasted, he tossed the ball onto the field.
https://i709.photobucket.com/albums/...3Snorlax-1.png VS https://i709.photobucket.com/albums/...89Torterra.png
Out of the ball came a massive creature, rivaling Torterra in size. Red’s Snorlax shouted a lazy roar, as if it had just woken up. Then it struck a fighting pose that managed to look ridiculous and terrifying at the same time.
“We’ll get this one, too! Wood Hammer, Torterra!”
As Torterra started moving forward, Red gave Snorlax a devious wink, and the Snorlax nodded. Snorlax wound itself back and balled up its fist, around which a freezing aura formed. Then Snorlax delivered the Ice Punch right to Torterra’s face, putting its full weight behind the attack.
“No! Torterra!”
Even weighty Torterra was knocked several feet off the ground and launched backwards, landing in a devastating slide on its side. Torterra was unable to get up and fell unconscious.
“Torterra is unable to battle! Snorlax is the winner!”
Diamond still didn’t look worried one bit, without hesitating, he threw his last Pokeball, and out of it came…
https://i709.photobucket.com/albums/...3Snorlax-1.png VS https://i709.photobucket.com/albums/...143Snorlax.png
Another Snorlax! However, Diamond’s Snorlax was not quite as large, and looked less threatening and more goofy than Red’s Snorlax. Diamond realized this quickly, and while a brief flash of uncertainty crossed his face, he was as ready as ever.
“Snorlax, use Rollout!”
Diamond’s Snorlax rolled up into a massive ball and spun quickly towards Red’s Snorlax. As soon as it approached, however, Red’s Snorlax grabbed the spinning ball and tossed it backwards in a Counter-attack. Diamond’s Snorlax landed hard on its back, but got back up.
“Come on, Snorlax! Mega Punch, now!”
Diamond’s Snorlax once again started moving towards Red’s Snorlax, attempting to attack it. Red’s Snorlax merely yawned at Diamond’s, but the Yawn proved contagious, and before the smaller Snorlax could reach the larger one, it tipped over and fell asleep.
Diamond’s Snorlax now began to Snore loudly, which served only to irritate the trainers watching. But the most irritated of all was Red’s Snorlax, who became downright enraged at the horrible noise.
Red’s Snorlax gathered up all of its strength, then lurched towards the sleeping Snorlax with all of its body weight. Red’s Snorlax’s Giga Impact smashed Diamond’s Snorlax with a crushing blow, both waking it up and knocking it back out at the same time.
“Diamond’s Snorlax is unable to battle! Red’s Snorlax is the winner!”
Red calmly returned his Snorlax and left the arena, while Diamond was left to his own disappointment. After only a minute or so, though, he was back to his usual self, determined to train harder and win next time.
“And Red does it again, pulling off a stunning victory for the second time in a row! Diamond, unfortunately, has been eliminated from the competition. Now, trainers, the tournament will begin anew tomorrow, so do remember to be safe tonight. We wouldn’t want any mishaps preventing more of you from competing.”
The trainers made their way out of the arena and to the place they would be staying for the night.

blaaaaaaaarg................
Interesting very interesting indeed.
I was serious :O
Well if it was accidental then I do not see a need to elaborate, other than the fact that I perceived what ATPG to have said to have curiously only been possibly said by my attacker on one of the previous nights.
Care to elaborate on why you think I am scummy Seon?
Anyway, the write up was most interesting, and I'm wondering especially about the bit where Saregona's snorlax was bigger than the opponent's one. Maybe its fluff for justification of a random roll, or maybe its an extension of what was brought up about like the pokemon (EG: Charizard) being stronger than it should be.
Saregona's pokemon all seem to be rather overpowered. Could be an indication of mafia, and "Red" is just a disguise.
Definitely a special role. Something is very askew.
I have this theory where Mafia have 6 pokemon. They choose three for tourney battles during the day and the other three to attack trainers during the night.
That would explain why Seon wasn't eliminated (Mafia) and why there is a Charizard running loose during the night while we didn't see Red using it during the day (Saregona/Red's = Mafia).
Obviously, that would also mean that once Saregona's Charizard is defeated, we'll still have to deal with Blastoises and Balbasaurs last transformation.
Was Seon stated as having specifically one extra Pokeman, or just "more".
One only:
This means that that part of Jolt's theory needs revising.Quote:
Ruby pumped his fist in the air and cheered. Pearl looked disheartened, but not completely crushed. She waited until the announcer was done speaking and Ruby had left the field, and then made her own announcement. A giddy, adorable smile cracked across her face.
“Well, actually… I did bring one more Pokemon with me, just in case. I thought it might be useful with all these attacks going on at night and everything! So, it’s really only for my own protection, but I guess if you wanted to battle me again… that would be ok with me!”
The rest of the trainers were dumbfounded as she giggled and quickly left the arena.
Or one more pokemon. But hasn't there been night-attackers which attacked with more than one pokemon? (Am busy making an essay, can't be bothered to go search)
I believe that his Snorlax is larger because he's had it for several years and it's incredibly strong, whereas Diamond/Barry's Snorlax evolved from Munchlax and he hasn't been a trainer as long; however, there's potential merit to the powered-up theory.
It's Red, though; to date, his Pikachu is the highest-levelled trainer-owned Pokémon in the series at Lvl.88, his lineup was obviously going to be strong.
I think we're on the money with Saregona being mafia, but the question is, how many townies are we going to have to throw at him before he's defeated? Seems like an utterly bizarre method of lynching.
The writeups stated that Seon has a single Pokémon set aside, not three.
Round over, still working on the write-up.
Apologies, I really should at least have the night write-ups done in advance.
Night 4
That night, the trainers went their separate ways once again. Many chose to stay in the rooms near the arena this time, for although they were not the best place for a defensive battle, Gold’s survival proved there was safety in numbers. There were still a few who moved deep into the cave to set up fortifications, however.
One such trainer was Ruby.
He was once again on the small island in the large cavern with the lake. His Tentacruel, having rested from its tough victory the night before, was ready for battle again, and floated through the waters of the lake, anticipating any unwanted visitors. They did not have to wait long for a mysterious trainer to show up.
“Go, Magnezone!”
https://i709.photobucket.com/albums/...agnezone-1.png VS https://i709.photobucket.com/albums/...Tentacruel.png
The Magnezone hovered magnetically over the surface of the lake, while Tentacruel was hidden underneath the water. It would be difficult for Tentacruel to win this fight- Magnezone’s electric attacks would be super-effective, and it would resist any poisonous attacks from Tentacruel.
“Thunderbolt, now!”
Magnezone discharged a bolt of electricity into the lake. The electric current, once entering the water, quickly found its mark. Tentacruel was electrocuted underwater, and rose to the surface to combat its opponent directly.
“Poison Jab attack!”
Tentacruel battered Magnezone with its stinging tentacles, but they merely bounced off of it harmlessly. Magnezone hovered closer to Tentacruel and began charging up for another attack.
“Now, Tentacruel! Submerge it with Surf!”
“Magnet Rise!”
Tentacruel rose up on a huge wall of water, then brought it crashing down over Magnezone. The steel Pokemon managed to remain above the surface magnetically, but it was clearly damaged, and crackling with static electricity.
“Use Magnet Bomb!”
Magnezone shot blasts of magnetic energy at Tentacruel, but the jellyfish Pokemon quickly dodged underneath the surface.
“Constrict it, now!”
Tentacruel’s tentacles shot up out of the water and wrapped themselves around Magnezone. The static electricity crackling on Magnezone’s body quickly shot down the tentacles and hit Tentacruel directly, but it held on tight. Using all of its strength, Tentacruel pulled Magnezone under water and threw it towards the bottom, just barely able to withstand the electric current jolting it.
“No! Magnezone!”
Magnezone was unable to function properly underwater, but it soon rose back to the surface. When it did, however, it was sparking and no longer conscious. The mysterious trainer returned it, but quickly sent out another Pokemon to take its place.
“Go! Aerodactyl!”
https://i709.photobucket.com/albums/...rodactyl-1.png VS https://i709.photobucket.com/albums/...Tentacruel.png
Aerodactyl screeched and began soaring menacingly around the room. It was a wonder it was able to fly at all, given its heavy, rocky body, but it managed quite effortlessly.
“Hit it with Ancient Power!”
Aerodactyl roared again, and several rocks from the cave ceiling began glowing, dislodged themselves, and hurled themselves at Tentacruel. Tentacruel was hit by the first of them, but managed to dodge underwater and avoid the rest.
“Stone Edge!”
As soon as Tentacruel resurfaced, Aerodactyl swooped low, then spun in a somersault, slashing at Tentacruel with its rock-hard, pointy tail. The blow connected, and Tentacruel looked badly hurt, but it was not ready to quit yet.
“Hang in there, Tentacruel! Use Ice Beam!”
Tentacruel shot a beam of supercooled air and water vapor at Aerodactyl and scored a direct hit. Aerodactyl’s wings began to freeze up, and it was unable to stay in the air. The Pokemon plummeted like a rock into the lake.
“That’s it! Surf!”
Aerodactyl was heavy and could barely keep itself above the surface, but it was not aided by Tentacruel’s waves crashing down on it and sending it further under. When Aerodactyl rose to the surface, it was belly-up.
As Ruby cheered, the hidden trainer cursed the lucky Tentacruel and its trainer, and quickly disappeared.
--------------------------------------------------
Silver had found himself traveling a narrow path on the edge of a huge chasm that seemed to stretch down for miles into the darkness of the cave.
He continued to walk through the darkness, until suddenly, a snarling Pokemon blocked his path.
https://i709.photobucket.com/albums/...2Mightyena.png VS https://i709.photobucket.com/albums/.../094Gengar.png
Before Mightyena could harm Silver, his Gengar materialized through the floor and spooked it, causing it to leap back, surprised.
“Come back for more, weakling? Well, I’m happy to oblige! Gengar, use Shadow Ball!”
Gengar formed a ball of shadowy energy in its palms, and launched it at Mightyena, who was unable to dodge on the narrow pathway. The wolf Pokemon looked annoyed, but not seriously injured by the blow. A voice from the darkness sounded.
“Crunch.”
At its trainer’s command, Mightyena leapt forward and snapped at Gengar. Normally a physical attack would pass straight through the ghostly Pokemon, but Mightyena’s dark power allowed it to tear away at Gengar’s ectoplasmic body, leaving it wounded.
“Gengar, use Hypnosis!”
“Double Team!”
Gengar tried to hypnotize Mightyena, but suddenly there were three of them surrounding Gengar and it didn’t know where to look.
“Finish this.”
The three Mightyena all surged forward and seemingly took another bite out of Gengar. Although there was really only one attack, the damage was done, and Gengar fell unconscious.
The Mightyena then turned their attention to Silver, who frantically reached for his next Pokeball, tossing it at them.
https://i709.photobucket.com/albums/...2Mightyena.png VS https://i709.photobucket.com/albums/...65Alakazam.png
Silver sighed when he saw the result of his choice. He had not meant to pick Alakazam, but he was stuck with it now.
“I don’t expect you to win, Alakazam, but we’re going to try. Focus Blast!”
Alakazam shot a powerful blast of energy, but it was slow-moving, and all three of the Mightyena copies dodged it easily.
“Crunch.”
“Teleport, Alakazam!”
Every time the Mightyena surged forward to attack, Alakazam would teleport itself to a new location, easily dodging the attacks. This continued for some time, but it was clear Alakazam was beginning to strain itself with all that movement. Silver was getting impatient waiting for an opportunity.
“Alakazam, use Miracle Eye!”
Using its inner Psychic strength, Alakazam opened its mind’s eye and began to see through all of the illusion surrounding the real Mightyena. It also saw a way around the dark aura surrounding Mightyena.
“Now use Psychic!”
Alakazam’s spoons glowed with Psychic power, and lifted Mightyena off the ground as effortlessly as if it were a stone. Mightyena looked terribly confused and unused to the sensation.
“What are you waiting for? Finish it already!”
Alakazam hurled Mightyena down into the chasm. It howled frantically as it dropped into the abyss, quickly disappearing from view.
“Hey, loser! Got anyone else you want me to toss down there?”
“No. In fact, he’s already down there waiting.”
From out of the chasm suddenly surged a huge, vicious-looking Charizard. It landed directly in front of Alakazam, dwarfing it and intimidating it.

“Psychic attack!”
Alakazam tried to lift Charizard with Psychic power, but before it could even move its spoons Charizard launched a Fire Blast at point-blank range. Alakazam was thrown against the side wall by the impact and fell to the ground, smoldering.
“Hah! So this is the famous Charizard that’s been beating up everyone’s Pokemon. Better get ready to lose! Go, Feraligatr!”
https://i709.photobucket.com/albums/...harizard-1.png VS https://i709.photobucket.com/albums/...Feraligatr.png
The average Feraligatr was larger than the average Charizard, but these two draconic Pokemon were nearly the same size. Nevertheless, Charizard’s size advantage was greatly diminished now that it was fighting a foe of the same stature.
“Quick! Ice Fang!”
Feraligatr lunged at Charizard with its icy jaws, and managed to snap down on its arm. Charizard roared in annoyance and blasted Feraligatr in the face with flame, causing it to let go. Then Charizard took to the air and began flying about the chasm, while Feraligatr was restricted to the narrow path.
“Hydro Pump!”
Feraligatr shot a powerful jet of water from its mouth, aiming for Charizard, but once again the flying creature was too fast, and merely flew around all of Feraligatr’s attempts to attack.
“Wing Attack.”
Flying in close, Charizard hit Feraligatr with its magnificent wingspan, knocking over the bulky Pokemon.
“Dragon Claw.”
As Feraligatr quickly got back to its feet, it was met by Charizard swooping by again, this time slashing at Feraligatr’s chest with its sharp claws. Feraligatr took the brunt of the attack and was unable to counter, as Charizard flew away again.
“Stand your ground, Feraligatr!”
“Dragon Claw, again.”
As Charizard swooped in for a third attack, Silver shouted to his Pokemon.
“Now, dodge and grab it with Ice Fang!”
Charizard tried to slash at Feraligatr with its claws, but this time Feraligatr ducked under them. When Charizard had all but passed by, Feraligatr snapped up and grabbed its tail in its powerful jaws. Whipping its head back, Feraligatr hurled Charizard into the side wall.
“Fire Blast!”
“Hydro Pump!”
Charizard quickly got back to its feet and launched a great stream of flame, just as Feraligatr shot a huge jet of water. The two attacks struck each other head-on, and both Pokemon held out to try and beat the other. It was soon proven once again that water trumps fire, though- the Hydro Pump burst through the flames and struck Charizard with a direct hit.
“Yes!”
Charizard slumped over, not wanting to give up but finding it hard to fight back.
“Finish it with Aqua Tail!”
Leaping into the air, Feraligatr somersaulted and struck Charizard hard with its tail. The blow was enough to topple the mighty Charizard, who fell to the ground unconscious.
“Ha! That Charizard was weak! I can’t believe even Gold lost to it. You ready to go home and cry yourself to sleep, loser?”
The mysterious trainer in the shadows responded with one word.
“No.”
A third Pokeball burst open to reveal yet another opponent.
https://i709.photobucket.com/albums/...Sceptile-1.png VS https://i709.photobucket.com/albums/...Feraligatr.png
The appearance of Sceptile wiped the smirk clean off of Silver’s face.
“Use Ice Fang!”
“Dragonbreath.”
Feraligatr lunged forward to attack, but was met with a blast of purple flame from Sceptile’s mouth. The attack caught Feraligatr off-guard and prevented it from counterattacking.
“Leaf Blade.”
With one fluid motion, Sceptile lunged forward and slashed at Feraligatr with its arm blades. Already weak from the previous battle, the powerful attack was enough to fell Feraligatr. Sceptile stepped over the large creature and stood poised to chop Silver’s head off. Silver was in shock himself for the moment.
“No way…”
Then, suddenly, Silver returned his Pokemon and dove straight into the abyss, in a seemingly suicidal move. Sceptile and the trainer looked incredibly confused, but after a moment shrugged and left. Perhaps the boy was unwilling to let his own life be taken from him, even though his death was yonder anyway.
In reality, Silver was hanging on tight to an Escape Rope. After he was sure the trainer was gone, he pulled himself back up over the edge, and hurried away from the chasm.

The next morning, the trainers returned the arena once again and the announcer spoke.
“Greetings, trainers. It appears that Silver has run out of useable Pokemon and will be unable to continue in the tournament. As for the rest of you, carry on with the voting as usual.”

ROFLGASM @ Death was yonder.
Am I right in assuming that we know Saregona is Red, and that Red's pokemon have been inflicting damage on all of us all this time? Or am I misinterpreting the writeups.
Vote: Saregona.
I do not know if I could beat him. But we should know his types by now, anyone want to step up and challenge him?
Vote: Saregona.
You are a most powerful trainer so you are either pro town role or mafia.
It's not just that, though. I was surprised when I saw Seon had extra pokemon, but he's clearly outclassed and outmatched. I think some people are more powerful than others, and that doesn't make them guilty. What is more indicative of guilt is who is attacking whom at night. I don't think Saregona is a vigilante or he would have owned up to it by now, and the scums would have killed him off by now.
Yes, but if the mafia had 3 pokemon that they could use to defend themselves, and 3 to attack, that could explain where Red has all these extra pokemon from.
And maybe Red isn't Red, but Team Rocket in disguise.
Jesse, James. You know. Think like a game designer... what's the epic twist?
I thought the mafia (at least one "killer") was being controlled by Mewtwo.
That's fine. Maybe Mewtwo is controlling Red and enhancing his pokemon. Or simply see his pokemon as the strongest, and therefore, the best to enslave and carry out his evil plans.
Or it could be Jesse and James under the control of the Mewtwo, after they tried foolishly to capture it. I dunno. I just know that the Charizard attacker isn't behaving like a townie, and Saregona/Red has a Charizard, and they're both very strong. Seems to me, he lost enough Pokemon in battle that we know who is doing the attacks, and he should be vulnerable now that some of his 'mons have fainted.
Seeing that Red is Ash, and therefore the most powerful trainer evaaaaaar, the "Pokemon enhancement" theory loses a bit of its momentum.
Let's put Seon against Saregona. That way we don't have to pit townies against Saregona.
Vote: Seon

Well  now you probably know why I reacted to your post.
Anyway, Double A's visitor message on my profile is most curious indeed, most curious.
I took down the Charizard too! :beam:Quote:
I'd've picked Crobat instead of Gengar or Alakazam.
Good luck fellow townies
Seon will need at least another vote to prevent him from voting on the last moment and escaping once again fighting during the day.
Meh. I'm not that convinced Seon has to go right now. I'm flip flopping on this, pending the results on Saregona.
You pit Seon against that, and you'll do no damage to Saregona, who I have grown weary of (not personally, but in-game). It's a waste of time unless Seon is your top suspect. He's not mine.
Sigh. Attacked 2 nights running. At least my team has held strong so far.
Vote: Captain Blackadder
Not that I'm whingeing about staying alive, but why did Magnezone lose to Tentacruel? I though the Electric/Steel type would outmatch the Tentacruel? But then again, surf is the ultimate HM IMO.
Also, is the Mightyena and Charizard properly down and out of the game then?
Vote: Seon
I think Imma be stubborn on this and keep voting until you go.
It was a remark about the typing. Like I said on your profile, I've beaten Silver a crapton of times. I would faint 1/3 of his team with a Dark pokemon, another 1/3 with a Fighting type, and the last two with an Electric. My level 100 Typhlosion didn't even need to come out, and when he did, I could actually win the battle with him alone. Choosing a team that covers its members weaknesses is the key to Pokemon, not the most awesome looking (that's priority number 2 )
Can you explain how his surviving makes him automatically guilty?
Can you explain how his one pokemon MAGICALLY TRANSFORMS into several, so he can go attack us at night?
The dude attacking us has a Charizard. The guy I'm voting for, has a Charizard. It's simple maths.
1 does not equal 3.
Woah. Did I just get profound up in this cave?
Vote: Captain Blackadder.
I am definitely not going to fight Red when all I have is one measly pokemon.
There's something I find really odd; earlier in the game, 'khaan and Pizza were at odds, playing around with the whole duel thing for a few rounds but never actually garnering enough votes for this to occur... and now there's not even a whisper of it.
vote: Yaseikhaan
Not an accusation per se (Saregona's still my main suspect), but rather a desire to see why you were so keen to fight earlier in the game.
That's just the thing -- he wasn't. He used a future duel with Pizza (which has never materialized) as reason to get out of fighting himself. Not a fan of post 312 either. he's a good suspect.
