Just played one on mafia scum. 7 players, an hour and a half, 250 posts. Crazy fun.

I'd be available almost any time Sunday for that.

Saturday will be tougher, with March Madness going on and family coming over.

I should be available anytime this weekend

I think it's clear that with the death of three recent large games that something needs to be done.

A backup mod system would be ideal but a person willing to be this person will not always be found. I would be interested in this role for a few games but I won't have the time for the next three weeks.

Perhaps we need to reform the queue a bit. I think that people who have in the past hosted successful games should get priority over those whose games have failed.

While this may seem unfair to those who hosted unsuccessful games, there are two important pros to this idea:

- It keeps things moving, and
- It provides more of an incentive to follow through with the commitment they made. I.E. if you back down, you're punished for it.

People who have not hosted before will be treated as if they have a "good record."

What do you guys think of this?

Other people have brought this up before and I totally agree. I'de be willing to be a backup mod some of the time, but I'de like to play too

I was about to post up the CHapter Last night, but I had trouble with family.

I was laos largely disappointed with lack of particpation at the start (before I started giving in) and the lack of those joining up.

So...can someone give the latest updated queue list? There seems to be many mini-game and new big mafia game popping up on the last two weeks, and these are no match to the queue list...

Well we now have:
Kommo and Sasaki hosting big mafia's (Cosa Nuova and Kung Fu)
Pever hosting a mini mafia

If no-one objects I'll start one as well, so that will be finished by the time I can host a big one.

Wait for about Day or Night 2 in Kung Fu before you start it, sign up when Kung Fu starts, I reccomend.

Yup, I was thinking about that as well. Otherwise we have 3 starting at the same time.

Since we have to do a mini-mafia, can I have permission to start one after Stig/pevergreen have finished running their games.

Maybe we should add a Mini-mafia queue? To keep track of them, same as the large mafias. 2 big mafia+3 or 4 mini-mafias at once should do, I think.

These mini games last for about a week I guess, so this means I have to start my game before the 20th of May or after the 16th of June.

Well seeing the amount of inactives on that list it's almost my turn. But I have to host a mini mafia game first.

If Stig is next, I'd suggest to let him host a large one without having hosted a mini. He's reliable (and very active in the Gameroom) imo.

Well the weakness of the two failed games was the fact that they had less then 20 players. Less player, more inactiveness.
When it's my turn to host I will be looking for about 30+ players. Like the other big mafia games.
