Hello all, my name is Attila (hence my username :p). I own most all of the Total War games except for Shogun, of which I might purchase at a later date. Although I haven't posted at all practically, I joined back in April but just for game modifications. Hi everybody
I just want to say hello. I am from England and i am having fun playing the Men of War mod for Fourth Age total war. And i got to wondering what other mods there were and what is what is involved in producing a mod. Maybe one day i will have a try but at the moment i am very much a newbie.
I suppose my interests would be the late Roman period and the decline of the empire and the early dark ages in England up to about 1066 and the invasion. So any mod from that period would be of interest to me.
I find this forum very intresting and there are some great articles.

oh hi, I finally decided to create an account here after a few months of lurking, particularly in the EB forums.
I'm currently playing Europa Barbarorum, though I've completed vanilla a few times; I also have m2tw but I don't play it often because it always quickloads (in the process messing up some graphic and audio functions) everytime I press the $ or € keys above the arrow keys (which I do not know why that happens and I never bothered asking).

Hello Everybody
I know this is not the right place to post this but I really don't know what to do.
Since a couple of days I can connect to the Org only if I use a proxy connection. It seems as if my usual (Italian) IP gets blocked, or something like that. Yesterday I made a thread in the Entrance Hall about my problem, but the topic disappeared. Maybe it got removed. I would like to know what's happening. Did my IP get banned? Was I banned? If this is the case I would like to know the reason.
Please, excuse me for my intrusion. Thanks in advance.

Hmm, seems I have to get familliar with a few things here. I was about to post in the Gameroom, but I wasn't allowed. I assume I have to become a member first, is that right?
Generally speaking, yes that's correct. However, if you PM Andres and Seamus Fermanagh (the Gameroom moderators), they can help you out with that. ~:)Quote:

The rule forcing you to be a member to access the Gameroom was dropped a short time ago, it instead being replaced by an alternative system.
To get in, go to your UserCP's "Group Memberships" section.
Select the Gameroom's "Join Group" button and then click the confirmation button (also called "Join Group") at the bottom of the page.
It will then ask you for a reason. You don't have to say anything here, but you can if you want to. Once you've done that, select the button at the bottom of the box to continue.
After you have done that, your Gameroom access request will be reviewed and entry will eventually be granted.
