Unfortunately, there will be no second phase since the Persians/Pahlava couldn't manage to defeat our armies there.
I can tell you, however, what it was though:
Quote:
Second phase - Needs a defeat of a player led army. Susa and Babylon will be handed to Pahlava (FD) and they will receive another 15000mnai. Any player conquered towns will rebel again.
@Ibn: Diognetos Syriakos, will be studying at Alexandreia. Try not to use him in battle. He is supposed to be concentrated in studies not war. (TCV orders)
@Chancellor: Yes, Alexandreia is open I've stated it long time ago in Council.
*EDIT*
So I am entitled to 6 more extra units, am I correct?
I have 10 influence points, plus 2 more influence points for having an Aid(IK). That makes 6 units (1 per 2 points).
BTW I'm cannot choose the hetairoi and hypaspistai only, right?
I didnt know aids gave you extra influence?
buit if so then yep, 6 units and they cant be hetairoi and hypaspistai, or elephents, but I dont think you could get those anyway soooo...... just put up the list and I will get towards recruiting those
No, aids don't give you influence points. The "1 aid = 2 influence points" (which I assume is what kingsnake is referring to) simply mean that 1 aid "cost" 2 influence points, like one settlement "cost" two management points. That's how I take it at least, since I know for a fact that the management <-> settlement connection work that way, and they're in the same sentence and line, and said in the exact same way.
By the way, he can get hypaspistai in Alexandreia (that's where I got mine!), and IIRC he can get hetairoi aspidophoroi as well. Well, get as in "they're trainable", I mean, not that he's allowed to have them.
TCV is (once again:beam:) right.
Additional units:
1 unit = 2 Influence points (max 5 units then)
1 unit = 3 Command stars (max 3 units)
This gives you maximum 16 unit army if you are a Satrap.
Also, I'll be gone for a weekend and I come back in Sunday.
So, the Royal Army can continue towards Antioch without Hierax. I'll move him back to Petra come the next turn.
Can I just keep the unit of Red Sea Light Infantry I asked for?
And I would also like to request permission for a spy to be trained somewhere near Petra to do some reconnaissance southward.
hey TCV what are you gonna do with the royal army when it is back in your hands? gonna move south to help the 1st syrian?....... maybe you could go back north and take back sinope, which just rebelled against us..... TOTALLY NOT MY FAULT, nothing I could have done! I swear, taxes were already low, and even with a garrison it was pissed. (and do you want the red sea light infantry added to your army? or should I move it back to petra?)
Drizzt, don't worry about it. No one should have a problem with it OOC; you're free to set the taxes yourself, and even had you intentionally put it on a level that made them revolt, it wouldn't have been wrong. Playing a selfish and greedy optimist who tries to drain the last coin from the poor little farmers isn't necessarily a bad thing OOC. As long as you're roleplaying, following the rules and not intentionally destroying the game for others, it's all good.
IC is another story, of course. Sarpedon or anyone else may put the blame on you, no matter how wrong they may be in doing so. I'm not saying Sarpedon will when he finds out, but he's not famous for being a very forgiving man, you know. ~;)
As for those red sea soldiers, send them back to Petra, please. They'd be a logistical nightmare for me anyway, since I don't plan on going to Arabia. So... what do I plan to do, you ask? I don't know yet. Perhaps just sit on my arse and enjoy my military supremacy over the rest of you. ~;p
hmmm, thats wierd. I was expecting more unholy rage....
and I guess this ruins any chance I have for relection right? :clown:
next turn I am gonna have a lot of explaining to do.....
I think we'll need an army up there soon anyway... chances are Epeiros will attack us soon.
Anyway, when you take the save Drizzt, can you move Hierax with the Royal Army towards Alexandreia. Got nothing else to do.
Cultured Drizzt Fan - Could you please edit your post in Reports thread with the appropriate title?
It would make much easier to find these reports and the start of a turn.Quote:
Chancellor Report, Season Year(or Year Season)
welll on my way gents, its good that i can finally get some action with the 1st Lydian since my defeat in Epeiros. Still pissed about that, would rather of died in that campaign than return home badly beaten. Maybe Panaitolos will get a chance to redeem himself this time hehe.
Can I get an official count on my battle points? I think I may have 15, but I'm not sure. I don't know when the table in the Library was last updated...
You forget that you were punished when you fought CP's battle near Sinope. As a punishment you lost all Bp's that you had.
Yes I know. But since then I have fought several battles. And I remember the table in the library returning my count to 0 and my working back up. Later today I'll try to verify myself. I'll just look at all my battles since December or whenever it was.
Edit: Actually I just checked now and I have 13 bps since December. One battle away...
Say, what would I have to do to get a regular army of my own?
With my six combat points I should qualify for "Strategos Epilektos" and an army of 10, correct?
I'd like to start making some conquest of my own as soon as Hierax gets some stars and management points.
Kill the commander of an already existing army! :laugh4:
Seriously though, how are our finances, CDf? I'm not sure myself (haven't taken the save in ages), but I fear we may not have much mnai for yet another army. I'll let him answer that for sure, though.
A problem is in any case that we have quite a few armies already, and we'll soon have run out of enemies. We can't all safeguard our Pahlavan border! Expanding too fast in every single direction will just make the game too easy and too boring as well. We need internal conflicts, first and foremost with words, but also militarily backed ones. We need some... drama (:drama1:). I'd especially like to see a little more political action from our dear satrapies, but everyone (including myself!) could and should do more of that.
(Don't you dare take this as an excuse to attack me, though! :brood:)
yeah.... we definnatly dont have the finances for a new army. sorry but we are hardly making enough to do anything as it is.
Even if you can't get your own army now Hierax is welcome to join the 1st Syrian as second in command. It would also be fitting as Alexandros is Hierax's father. I can assure you that time with the 1st syrian would not be misspent. There is plenty of action in the desert.
Yeah... daddy can I be second in command, can I, please can I? :p
For now, I'll just leave the little runt in Alexandreia till he earns some nice traits.
And we definitely need some civil war around here!
yeah, you can feel the tension in the air.... I have a feeling that the second someone says the word Civil war IC that we are gonna have about 4 diffrent rebellions on our hand. Good job TCV!!! :clown:
everybodies just scared now, because if they go out alone TCV will just own them with his royal army
I do want to remind you that Satrap can seize any unit that is in his satrapy. If they are in his city - even better. Just one more reason why Royal Armies shouldn't be retrained or recruited in a city that belongs to a satrap! ~;)
Shhhhh!! Don't let them know! That should be our little secret.
...
Uhhm... where's my army right now? :sweatdrop:
just south of Hierosolyma, I was gonna move it into the province of Alexandria this turn.
heh perhaps it wasnt the best Idea to make pretty much the only training ground for Hyspatis in a satrap.
Okay, please let the main of it stay outside Aratos' satrapy, but let the hypaspists in by themselves to retrain. Once you've retrained those, move them back in to join the army, then merge all argyraspidai and send the one in for retraining, and so on. Only do so with the units that can't be retrained elsewhere, though.
If Aratos tries some funny stuff, he shall only get one unit! ~;)
hahahahah! suspicous much? getting a bit power hungry? I will do it, might take a while though
hey CDT, i updated my SOT and there are a few units the 1st Lydian is missing since my loss in Epeiros.
OK will get right on that and navarro951 do you think you could upload the save somewhere else, I dont think anyone else is gonna take the save, and I cant get it off mizus for my report.
