Ok. Why don't you respond to my allegations against you, and we can discuss it.
Your life is on the line, and I'd like to hear an actual defense for a change. Give me two minutes to prepare questioning. Stay put, my friend.

Its been more than 2 minutes! ATPG is scum!!!
:clown:
Lynch ATPG!!
Like i said Shlin28 and Reenk are my top candidates... i can't help but feel the godfather is making it through the game without any suspicion on him... trust no one!
Okay, shlin28; these are the questions I want answered before I could even begin to be convinced you aren't a total scumbag:
1. Why were you active 5 nights out of 6? Were you sending in your kills or discussing things with your fellow mafioso?
2. If I checked, would I find you were active on the Org on the missing night?
3. Why haven't you offered to be lynched at any point if you failed to bring the mafia to justice? That's Step One of being the Chief of Police. I did so when I campaigned for the office.
4. Your initial campaign was designed to specifically target "overanalytical zealots" and you promised to reign without rhyme or reason. Do you know why I think that's especially scummy? That's a rhetorical question, but you absolutely know that you were stating that specifically to get town on your side (fun) over mine (analysis).
5. Why was your analysis and suggested suspects off-target all game or nonexistent?
6. Why did you consistently defend TevashSzat, as soon as he became a legitimate suspect, even before he "revealed"?
7. Why did you defend him even after he stopped posting?
8. Why did you defend him all the way up until the point where it was obvious he was a goner?
9. Why do you and Sasaki seem to agree on everything, but you consider him to be a scumbag?
10. Why did you bother posting your less than 10 minutes-long analysis when you KNEW it was worthless? You even admitted you had nothing to report.
11. Why did you say it was a "bad omen" when the CoP actually does some work? All townies, yourself included, should be hard working.
12. I simply refer you to the quote:
Quote:
I piled a mountainous case at your feet when Tevash was on the block, and even before the detective reveal, you defended him up and down. Then you defended him some more. When what, 5 or so people voted Tevash you suddenly got an epiphany: Tevash must be scum. Then, Sasaki mentions how easy it is to do a detective reveal and post a role pm, and you jump out of your pants to assume that Sasaki was scum.
But only when it is too late, when the course of the game has already been decided, have you decided to follow the flow of the mighty river. You fought tooth and nail for Tevash, and then dropped the pretense when Tevash was doomed. These sudden changes in belief about scummy or innocent, conveniently placed to make you look like you agree with town's position, boggle my mind.
You aren't a townie, shlin28; if you were, these epiphanies would happen at a more logical time, instead of as a virtual bandwagon. You want to keep your buddies alive, admit it.
Click this link. You have some 'splainin' to do. :laugh2:
For reference only, don't click. It's a repost of my allegations above.Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I can answer 6 and 11
6: I don't think God Father will actually bother to defend clearly scum looking player especially if he is indeed part of his crew.
11: Joke? :clown:
1. Why were you active 5 nights out of 6? Were you sending in your kills or discussing things with your fellow mafioso?
Let's see... GH ends each phase at 7-8 PM in the evening my time, which usually is my most active time on the Org. So on any given day, I could be counted on to be active during those times.
2. If I checked, would I find you were active on the Org on the missing night?
Which night phase was that?
3. Why haven't you offered to be lynched at any point if you failed to bring the mafia to justice? That's Step One of being the Chief of Police. I did so when I campaigned for the office.
The CoP is just an invincible townie, nothing else. So, I am only behaving as a normal useless townie as I always do. The only thing you can measure success as a CoP is the awsomeness of your lynch write-ups.
It's the first round... all the posts are like that... Also, at that point in time it looked like RR and Andres and TC were the ones who were going to win, so I posted a totally nonsensical campaign because I thought I have no chance of winning. Note that when I started to get votes I abandonned the initial campaign promise, and focused on vague ideas such as "change" and "hope" (totally original BTW).
5. Why was your analysis and suggested suspects off-target all game or nonexistent?
Just being my normal self... sorry.... Sometimes I get a flash of inspiration and spend all my time standing for that point... but most times... :sweatdrop: If you are going to lynch me, I believe that this is the only valid reason to do so.
6. Why did you consistently defend TevashSzat, as soon as he became a legitimate suspect, even before he "revealed"?
Well... as I said before, I have always be against you in pratically all the mafia games (Lunar Whale, Family Guy, Whispers in the Night etc), mainly because I don't like people who control all aspects of the town, especially as it allows the mafia to hide under your influence. More importantly, I have reasons to believe that your system (a fantastic piece of work!) and your analysis have flaws and cannot find the mafia EXACTLY. At least we know how exactly "Holmes" works (counting posts and other stuff that I forgot), yours? Not so much. Furthermore, in Whispers of the Night you pointed me as being mafia when I was a detective. When you accused Tevash here, I made the leap of logic and htought that Tevash could be a detective, hence his deviation from the norm.
7. Why did you defend him even after he stopped posting?
A: He could actually be a detective.
B: He is in the wrong timezone to respond. I think.
C: I believe your accusations against him are wrong.
As for my later 180 degrees turn regarding this issue, I know of no other way to convince you...
More answers to be editted in (otherwise ATPG might accuse me of being away for a "20 minute breakfast" again! :clown:)
8. Why did you defend him all the way up until the point where it was obvious he was a goner?
See above.
9. Why do you and Sasaki seem to agree on everything, but you consider him to be a scumbag?
THAT WAS NOT DELIBERATE! THERE WAS NO SECRET SCHEMING! NO COMMUNICATIONS! NADA!
10. Why did you bother posting your less than 10 minutes-long analysis when you KNEW it was worthless? You even admitted you had nothing to report.
... at least I was trying.
11. Why did you say it was a "bad omen" when the CoP actually does some work? All townies, yourself included, should be hard working.
Was a joke.
12.
So you think it is impossible for those things to happen naturally? Well they did happen naturally.
Lengthy rebuttals in spoiler.

Anything else, shlin?
There is a search function, so I can totally find out which night Tevash was inactive (which is what I did), even though I might not be there. Also, he has 18 posts, which is not hard to read all at once to find out his activity. Me? eighty-somethign posts here, kinda hard to remember...Quote:
Don't. You know which phase it was. You even knew which night I was referring to when I talked about Tevash's activity on the org but inactivity on the thread. You aren't fooling me, so please just answer the question.
Nevertheless, I will look through my posts... *sigh*
I still don't feel trustworthy about Glyphz and Taka, both lurked to mafia victories in the past.
When's Glyphz and Taka gonna be WOG'ed?
I don't see anything against Andres, there's no case against him.
The battle appears to be between Reenk and Shlin. APTG seems bent on lynching Shlin this round, and I have to say, Shlin has put up a awfully big fight to stay alive. Not that I see anything wrong with that.
There's still an awful lot of discussion going on, I will vote later.
Convenient.
Please respond to my rebuttals, because I am still not satisfied with your answers.
Should I become satisfied, maybe I will ask town to lynch Reenk instead of you. (Not that it matters what I say, I am dead, and town can lynch whomever they please so far as I am concerned) If you want to survive, go ahead and state your defense further.
:laugh4: How can it be convenient? That the government conveniently placed a holiday on this week to help me play better in a mafia game as the Godfather?
:clown:
*Goes back to answer ATPG's questions*
LOL-
With you, shlin, I am convinced anything is possible. :tongue2:
But it's CONVENIENT that you are here both day and night, and almost every night, and I proved that you don't have a "usual time" which was your defense why you were here almost every night.
So your defense isn't a defense, it's an excuse which doesn't stand up to scrutiny.
PS- I am having fun, shlin, and I hope you are too. Come on, you know you delight in having the spotlight on you and being able to fight for your life. I would love such questioning if I were mafia... it's a heck of a lot better than "ATPG IS SCUM LYNCH HIM NOW!!!!" which you can't really defend against.
Better reasons are being presented here for your execution than any before, so you should feel honoured I am not asking town to just blindly trust me. I am at least doing you the honor of giving reasons and asking for a defense.
@TinCow: Brilliant!!! Exactly what I would do if I were the Godfather. But I do that every game basically, either by vote or by making myself suspicious on purpose.
EDIT: Shlin28- I posted a rebuttal to number 7 as well. Please respond.
Sorry bout the double post, but shlin and I have done several back-and-forths in a single post, and now it's time to start fresh.
Please agree to stop editing the above posts, and follow along from here.
I responded to all the points up to 12, shlin. Do you have anything further to add?
Of couse I have no defence, because I changed my side NATURALLY. If you don't believe me, so be it.Quote:
As for your 180 degrees turn, YOU HAVE NO DEFENSE.
PS: This is the best fun I had as a townie for a long long time :smash:
Now that's more like it......:yes::smash::clown::beam::2thumbsup::laugh4::dizzy2::egypt:Quote:

I only had the title "Ultimate Town Protector" because TinCow said I acted like I was one. I thought it was a great way to mock myself.
Grand Inquisitor is more accurate, indeed.
Blatant AD for the Capo de Tutti Capi III game. Please follow the link and sign up for an invitation. Let's get Seamus' game the 120 players it deserves.
Grand Inquisitor? He's done this before in Lunar Whale, and he grilled me for good. I've never been put under so much pressure in the first round before. :scared:
Keep on grilling, someone's bound to make a mistake and say something they aren't supposed to say.
Thank you.
Thank you for tolerating me, everyone. Let's lynch shlin28 and hopefully, you won't have to hear anything else from me for a long time.
:shakehands: with shlin28.
I really hope I am correct about you... I have done so much for this game and I am getting a little weary of my task.
:wall: :shame: :sweatdrop:
@QJC- Thank you. I believe shlin already cracked under pressure, so... hopefully he's the Godfather, and if not, I still believe we would only have one more to go. But I predict the game ends here. Otherwise, I am throwing this computer at the wall.
:clown:
I bet 10000000000 trillion dollars that the game will not end when I'm lynched.
:2thumbsup:
I think Shlin is holding on well, but very few could keep up with the amount of accusation you're hurling at him. I think Shlin would make a fine lynch this round, but I have to say he didn't seem 100% guilty to me.
I'll take that bet.Quote:

Please recheck my tally.Quote:
shlin28: 3 (Taka 1278, Beefy187 1283, Gaius Scribonius Curio 1285)
glyphz: 1 (WhiteEyes 1266)
Reenk: 2 (Chaotix27 1273, Reenk Roink 1279)
Gaius Scribonius Curio: 1 (Andres 1318)
Fair enough. But I would have nothing to accuse him of if he wasn't legitimately acting out of sorts.Quote:

If he were a townie, he would not act like the game hinges on his life, as he just did.
