try to reinstal RTW and then install it again, RTW+1,3+1,5 patches+Alexander expansion or *exe only + eb 11 + eb 12, and after that EAEM
I really dont know how to help since you saw that some people even posted screen shot. So it works.. or if there is a prob, its not the mod part :shrug:
ok maybe wrong installation just making sure the instalation of EAEM is directed to RTW folder right? or i s it EB folder? cos i chechked its there its just the pc not reading that its there
edit ok found that the 'noalexander' is not in the shortcut, now when I get to chose a faction it goes back to the previous menu and then now I cannot click on anything
ok I got it working now after hours of installing and reinstalling, great work Maks!!!
I like the way the romans could blitz those epirotes out of italy after a few turns, anyway was wondering how could i play this in windowed mode i tried putting the -ne like this RomeTW-ALX.exe" -mod:eb -show_err -nm -ne -noalexander but its not working ??? :help:
Maksimus, can you list the changes that you've done in EAEM? Or do you have these changes posted somewhere?

Alot of people have been asking me the same question, but I cannot give the full list of changes.
This mod is epic overhaul of EB in a possitive EB pattern, with respect to the developers. I think you should try and play it since it will take you to new limits.
I am hopping that player impression will be the final mark of the mod description :D
I installed RTW + 1.3 + 1.5 + Alexander + eb 1.1 + eb 1.2.
Then i copied EAEM into the main Folder.
And what now?
if you copied eaem in your RTW folder all you need to do is the change target line of EB.exe as mentioned in first post
Ok, but it looks a lot different than in the first post. The end of singleplayer EB exe target line looks like this:
\EBTrivialScript\EBTrivialScript.exe" -s ebconfig.xml -runeb -type "Single Player"

Trivia script needs to be edited in xlm file so that it would work with alx.exe, honestlly, I did not want to waste time on it since this mod is already 80% one man army product.
Hey i think i have a bug here. I just started a new campaign as the Romani, and two of the starting govenors (Roma and Capua) have been labled "Imposters". Any ideas why this might be or how i can fix it?

its the EB12 feature
Not mod part, we have implemented all our traits in the EB12 scope, so you will need to move or leave generals in towns depending on the Gov building.
Ok, its just wierd because those are Homeland provinces and i didn't recruit those dudes...
Yeah, they are added as generals in start, you can move them or keep them in if there is a lvl IV gov

its a generic error, not the mod part. Try to reinstall the game pls
If you check EDU and DMB files, there is no such unit.
And try using Single Player *exe pls, not just modify the Trivia exe. Than tell us what you got pls :)

the modifications Lz3 added in mod pack are pretty much in the eaem already.
Well I tried the mod. On the good side, the gameplay is a lot more fun. On the bad side, the game is a lot less historically accurate.

We have had historian opinions. I am glad you like the fun do.
Most overhaul was the overal developed world. Which EB team left undeveloped in purpose so that it would be more fun to develop it - therefore they left it unhistorical intentionally.
I belive that eaem is not in colision with history.

I would like to ask if it is possible to install your big mod over recent EB instalation with engine files. No another tweaks beside alex engine and are present on my recent EB 1.2 instal.
And what about modified formation files compatibility with your EAEM?

EAEM has DV formations. If you want to use EAEM you can just install it on top of your engine files and all will be fine :yes:

Followed all steps except upgrading rtw to version 1.5; I have RTW Gold so it won't let you.
After installing EAEM, it takea a while but eventually loads to the meu screen. However, I can never move to a customer battle or start campaign. When I click EB Main Campaign I get the message "Please select item from the list". I've uninstalled RTW from scrtch in resintalled in a different directory. This has now happened to me twice.
Any ideas?
