the mech is where I'm struggling. if you assume maple has to be town because of wolf powers, like hally and ladd do/did, it's still not remotely equal and there is nothing for the wolves to do except twiddle their thumbs

I absolutely do not accept cape's attempt at portraying himself like a power town wunderkind

I want to formally apologise to Hally. Yesterday I got very doom and gloom and thought we were lost and I was in a pile with townies for the wolves to feast on.

Meanwhile Hally and Ladd just yeeted a wolf instead.

I don't think Syn is ever a wolf with how Taffy shaded them. Taffy, however, was very curious/cautious about asking people how they read the Maple EOD, which makes me think that's a much more likely hit.

Ladd could have just done a ruthless bus yesterday but breaking the tie and pushing Taffy to the lead means I'm going to slap a town label on there. (And it's an excuse to hold onto my townread despite the reasons not really having gone anyway cool.)

Maybe also apologise to Cape if Maple flips wolf but I'm still nursing the secret desire for Cape to be the last wolf.

Cuth is also just clear, and I think Ladd looks better for Taffy being a wolf. Thinning POE while your one living partner is in POE... just feels bad ya know?

mm it's like

pretty specific and organic to me

like going all in but kinda all over the place but in a way that still feels understandable

wolves have a hard time maintaining that sort of oomph in that sort of way, and tend a lot more to lean on specific ideas or thoughts where they know they have a consistent through-line

and idk i'd be very impressed if cape could do this sort of stuff as w (from what i remember reading off the top of my head)

I did a reread this morning. Cape's treatment around Taffy is actually clearing, as much as I regret to say it.

Like as wolf pulling the "If Taffy w then Visor probably town?" hat when partner is being run up D1, you can then turnaround and use that same logic to try clearing Taffy without it looking that sus. Instead Cape just was like "Nah actually nevermind I still want Taffy."

I know some wolves I could see doing that. But those are few and kinda ruthless. I don't think Cape is one and I don't think how he treated it is like one.

Especially if you're going to spend so long doing that then when the wagon pops up you don't then get caught on the counterwagon.
