Re: The Godfather, Part 3 (IN PLAY)
Hmph, I knew I'd get lynched sooner or later, I'm surprised I'm still alive as it is.
Firstly where have I really said you were definitely innocent? Most have my posts have kept an open mind, and your almost taking it for granted that I support you.

Firstly
-If i may say so myself, well done who ever wrote that write up for sasaki, it was hilarious! And tragic I guess, meh
-The nude unicyclist does strike me as innocent but someone as insane as that cannot be entirely dismissed
I think the unicyclist is cleared relatively well, so hoping your innocent I suggest killing someone like Taka, lurking, and have been known to win as mafia before whilst doing it.
vote:tevashszat
Until we get a role pm + analysis of atpg's evidence against you, You were voting for people you had supposedly cleared of suspicion :whip:
Mention of your evidence is fair, as it made sense, sorry if I fail to criticize your every move because I believe you are making good points.
TevashSzat didn't post when it mattered, his role claim had no substance and you had found things in his behavior that a detective wouldn't do, 4 others agreed on the round we lynched him, so I can hardly be singled out there.
I find it just as suspicious that you were all pally with me, just to go awol and say I'm the Godfather, even though you not long said I was a superb candidate for CoP and haven't been active enough for a mafia, so please get your stories straight.

Fair no? no mafia would decide to kill themselves when the outcome could be massively different, why would he kill himself if he was mafia, that is why I concluded he was innocent, or just a fool maybe.

I state hear I haven't always believed you, I was thinking Tevash was innocent at some stage. Saying I lazyily accuse YLC and Ignormous which may well be wrong is rich coming from you as most of your lynch candidates were most likely innocent too. Andres said previously, and I remember the post, saying even townies vote for townies, we can't get it right all of the time, you should no that more than anyone, ATPG. :stare:
Furthermore activity did drop as the game progressed, I was absent from the 16th-19th, You even looked at the last time I was on, I was no where on this forum, at all for 3 solid days, activity couldn't be high there, regardless you americans aren't on when I'm on most of the time, and no questions are directed at me for the most part so I've no reason to do an in-depth analysis. My opinion wasn't needed.
The spelling blips were also massive ones that that, intentional surely, Tincow said my punctuation techniques weren't similar as in the write up.
Activity on night phases isn't a tell, it just shows the phases finish at the wrong time for when I get online, I have not been active on every night phase, yet kills still happen, so yeah...try and figure it out.

If i was trying to suck up to you ATPG, i would have voted for tevashszat on this round to, the one before his death, I just didn't like people voting for you when you did a heap on analysis, though I guess that wall of text really doesn't say anything other than 'I'm ATPG, lynch who I say' I refer to Andres again here, this is a TEAM game, so lighten the load. :stop:

Re: The Godfather, Part 3 (IN PLAY)
Taka is consistent in his defence and doesn’t seem to be bothered at all about dying. Looks like he’s one of these people too busy in RL and just happy enough to keep up the activity to avoid WOG by voting for anyone. ATPG also gave a good defence, so I suppose he should left alone for now.
Glyphz remained cool despite all the accusations he received lately, less trustworthy than Taka, he is a lynachable target this round.
White Eyes is less suicidal than normal, I am absolutely unsure about him in this game…
Curio is always solid, unflappable, again I’m uncertain about him.
Pevergreen joined late, but taking over from YLC, he’s really the only living player I trust to be innocent right now.
QJC is innocent ~;)
Reenk has been defensive and taking risks throughout the game, any other person do that I’d say they’re innocent straight away, but its Reenk. GH’s choice to make him CoP kind of puts off the idea of him being the godfather, despite what people says that it doesn’t make a difference whether he’s CoP or not, well I just don’t think he’s the godfather.
Andres looked town all game, but coming into the late stage everyone’s a suspect, I still don’t see enough to put a vote on him though.
Beefy just looks Beefy ~:)
ATPG puts Aries forward as the top lynch candidate, he’s argument is well supported, however I still don’t think Aries looks guilty enough. I won’t vote for yet, I’m willing to give him a chance for defence at least.

Just to clarify, all roles (except for the Godfather's grunt choices) have been selected at random.

I am genuinely surprised here as well. Aries normally speaks out a lot and gets killed or lynched quite early on, this is a break from the pattern.

Valid reasoning – Assuming that town has lynched both grunts, Aries cannot be the mafia since of his inactivity. However if town failed to kill off all grunts then the godfather’s activity isn’t required for the murders to take place. Assuming there is still a grunt left then Aries’ inactivity would mean nothing.

Beefy is Beefy. Nothing more or nothing less then Beefy.
It is definitely not Reenk. It is pure Beefy.
When I search Beefy on Google.. Random images I get..
Naked men buffed up.. Calling them self Beefy..
Beefy doesn't mean buffed up.. In fact I'm underweight.
But I got my name from the cow Beefy.. As I love Beef so much.
Beefy is Beefy..Nothing more or nothing less then Beefy!!
Just so you all know I'm not one of Reenks alter egos.. Although I wouldn't mind being one
Being Reenk will promise me endless fun.
Its also nice to see how loved I am as I'm soo frequently defended by everyone. I believe I was mentioned alot of times on Skynet as well which just proves that I'm loved.
I love you all too :2thumbsup:

Ok now I feel responsible for leading you guys off topic.. But I blame Reenk for that..
Since todays the last day when I can be active before the Uni entrance exam.. I will try and find time to post still but.. I'll be extremely active today and will be willing to answer questions if someone wants to.
According to ATPG, looks like we are the top two candidate for todays lynch Ares.. How do you feel about being accused for the first time in this game? :beam:

Re: The Godfather, Part 3 (IN PLAY)
I'm going to stick with Taka. Have been busier than expected but will definitely post more tomorrow. In the meantime my opinions on most of the remaining candidates...
Beefy: Seems solid. Has been consistently here, voting, has come under suspicion and evaded it. Haven't seen much in his posts that would make me think him a mafioso.
Aries: Despite ATPGs case against him has a pretty good alibi in that he was absent. However this does not necessarily exonerate him. Precedent being Mafia VIII, 'Khann, my partner had an unexplained absence of a week, and wasn't WoGed. In the meantime I sent in kill orders for him... even after my death. Until GH says specifically that this would not be allowed he is not squeaky clean (and if he has I haven't seen it). Not worthy of a lynch imo.
Andres: Will clear this up, Andres didn't suddenly go for me, he has been voicing suspicions about me since LW's execution. Based on that being one few points against him, unlikely at this stage but more research on my part required.
Quintus: Never responded directly to my concerns, but his behaviour in recent times has gone against my suspicions. Unlikely.
Taka and Glyphz: Both lurking, although Glyphz is finally talking. Both somewhat dubious, but as I said above will stick with Taka. Reasoning, if one is mafia and one is talking, it is more likely that we will catch him.
Sorry, back with more tomorrow.
Edit: Since nobody has commented will add a little more.
Curio: Innocent... obviously...
Pevergreen: I'm inclined to believe he is innocent due to YLC's strange suicidal behaviour in the lead-up to his replacement. A Godfather would be very unlikely suicide. Seen as it is the Godfather we need to lynch in any case I would recommend leaving him.
White Eyes: For the most part has stayed out of the spotlight, not seeming overly mafia influenced. As with Andres more research required on my part, which be forthcoming tomorrow.
Reenk: For the same reasons as yesterday is not one of my main suspects.
In summary I believe Taka and Glyphz are the best targets for today, Taka more so. pevergreen and Aries seeming to be the least likely candidates for the Godfather at the moment, although neither can be fully exonerated.

Re: The Godfather, Part 3 (IN PLAY)
Vote : Gaius Scribonius Curio
-
Re: The Godfather, Part 3 (IN PLAY)
I'm not to sure but I'm going to re vote vote: Glyphz
I believe his recent activity was made to get himself out of deep water, he spoke after prompting, townies don't need that, where as Taka seems genuinely inactive on all games Glyphz is just bumping up activity to fool town, IMO
-
Re: The Godfather, Part 3 (IN PLAY)
Had a few minutes this morning. Off to a musuem in 5.
Glyphz post #1392 spotlighting Sasaki and I as Grunts seems suspicious to me. Perhaps its because I know my own innocence in this game, but it strikes me as a "plausible" analysis more than a "let's find the mafia" analysis.

Can't say I'm 100% right, but unlike in other games, I feel more confident in my analysis of the write-up, so I plan to stck to my theory that only the GF is left, and you were one of the grunts (Vincenzo recognizing you, in a lynch write-up no less, is a sure tell, I bet) until the post-game write-up proves me right/wrong or a mix of both. It is too bad that I did not notice this before my severe lack of activity post-Tevash's lynch. I doubt I'd have voted for shlin28 then.:stwshame:

Perhaps. I too think that the analysis is more of 'what i think where we stand at the moment' one. I doubt I can pinpoint the GF from it.

I won't hold it against you if you don't believe about my behavior the past few days, or in general the whole game. Makes me think I'll be under fire in all future games due to my current style of play.:sweatdrop: Can you be a little more elaborate on the bolded part of the quote, please?.:inquisitive:

Re: The Godfather, Part 3 (IN PLAY)
I think the tactic of going for the lurkers is flawed. People are too scared of them because of the recent victory with this method. The mafia is likely accentuating this fear with their own focus on it. I very much believe that the mafia are active players, not lurkers.

Re: The Godfather, Part 3 (IN PLAY)
(The following is written mostly by Reenk Roink)
Day 9
The townies all gathered at the town square after making their decision and brought a handcuffed glyphz with them, his head hanging low. All of them expected to see Chief of Police Reenk Roink, who nobody had seen all day, dealing out justice, so they were quite surprised when they caught a glimpse of a tall man, with a wide brimmed hat supporting grapes waiting for them by a large bonfire. Upon coming closer they were horrified to see that in place of where the man's face should have been, there was a dark and deep void instead. Some of the older members of the town soiled themselves, clearly recognizing that they were in the presence of The Wanax.
The Wanax plucked a grape from his hat and ate it, and he did this while his face void remained static while the grape simply appeared to dissolve on contact. After some quiet, he finally addressed the mob:
"Very well, let's get this over with, bring me the unfortunate one."
Nobody dared move any closer to The Wanax and although his face remain a static void, the townies could plainly see his displeasure.
The Wanax once again spoke and though his voice was of a constant evil tone, the mob he addressed could clearly hear his disappointment:
"The Wanax cannot believe he is in this humiliating situation while the Godfather picked two others to carry out the joys of killing; using The Wanax's alter ego's methods, no less! Do you not see the harm they have done so far? I wanted to do that harm!"
Without warning The Wanax suddenly reached out his arm and brought glyphz close to him through some unseen force while the rest of the townies ducked for cover. The Wanax then reached in his long robes to pull something out which caused great distress to glyphz and great (hushed) speculation among the townies.
"It's the phasgana!" one exclaimed. "He's going to pull out The Analyst: A Discourse Addressed to an Infidel Mathematician," another cried.
"NO YOU FOOLS!" The Wanax boomed as he pulled out a ziploc bag of gingerbread men and began eating them. After some perplexing moments for the town, The Wanax began to utter some chants and sprinkle gingerbread crumbs on glyphz. The townies watched in amazement as glyphz transformed into a life sized gingerbread man. The transformation was agonizing for glyphz who felt his entire body compressed, dried, and stiffen.
The Wanax then picked up glyphz roughly, causing some of the edges of his right arm to snap off, leaving glyphz howling in pain. As The Wanax carried glyphz over the bonfire, one townie muttered "He's going to bake him over the fire!"
Although The Wanax's face remained a static void, the mob swore they saw him roll his eyes as he uttered some more chants which led to a giant Easy Bake oven appearing in front of him. The Wanax placed glyphz into the oven and shut the door, and the townies watched in horror as glyphz was baked alive, his screams in the oven inaudible.
glyphz stopped moving after five minutes but The Wanax waited an extra two before removing him. The mob watched in silence as The Wanax ate the head of glyphz and exclaimed "Much better than the non-human type," before disappearing.
None of the mob dared go near the headless gingerbread corpse of victim, save Andres who ate three fingers.
Day 9 tally:
glyphz: 3 (777Ares777, taka, pevergreen)

GH specifically said most of that was written by Reenk. This probably includes the formating. I bet the only bit which was written by GH was the last line about Andres.

This is worth noting. "Assuming the game still continues" implies that it might not. If the game can end during a night phase, this implies the ability of the mafia to either win tonight or for the Godfather to be killed off at night. Even if all 3 mafioso were still alive and killed 2 tonight, there would still be 7 alive tomorrow, 3 mafia and 4 town, which would give the town one final chance to lynch the Godfather. Thus, it seems unlikely that the mafia could win tonight. As far as I can tell, this seems to indicate that there is a vigilante at large, which would probably be Mr. Nude Unicyclist.
