Maybe pepper..? But I heard that it came from southwest India in ancient times which would be off the map.

Indeed it's pepper to represent the "Spices" resource, so kudos to you and your present:

Not specifically at all, but it is mainly cultivated in southern india, that much is true. The resource symbolizes pepper, cinnamon, sylphium, etc., but we preferred to represent the king of spices with it. :beam:
