I didn't say it was bad, a faction victory would simply be quicker right now.

*watches the game intently, waiting for the dramatic conclusion*
...
*gets some popcorn*
For the time being, I shall Vote: Abstain
Beefy, John, persuade me as to why you should be the one alive.
Like L needs Lighto, Batman needs Joker, Pompey needs Caesar and Scipio needs Hannibal... With TheFlax and only TheFlax can Beefy be completed.
I should be the one alive because Split said I'm Caesar and TheFlax is my loyal guy. When I am Optimates, and we don't even know if Pompeiians are dead.. So I say Split is clearly hiding something.
I am just going to vote for John for my live preservation and I'll be honest that I don't have anything against John other then the reason "Sasaki and LG said so"
I have been following orders like protect such and such, investigate such and such whenever I can, and I seem to be relatively active.
Also, post game won't be fun without me alive, because without Beefy, partying will not involve tieing someone up on a tree for fun thus it will be less enjoyable for everyone.
Ooo, teh drama. LG revealed a group in which Cicero actually killed a townie going for Mafia victory. And now Caesar is virtually powerless it seems. Awesome.
Since that is so, we shall have to rip apart the group since *check last day*, yeah they all unvoted Split and all voted on beefy. Apparently since Pompey is dead, they have little reason to vote for an Optimates but to win a Cesarian victory.
Vote: johnhughtom
EDIT: That's why most PROBABLY you'll be lynched next day. You or Greyblades.Quote:

And if Cicero is Pro-Town, (As it now appears once again), he'll just vote change one of them to the other, basically rendering any of their votes useless.
what does no one believe I am Pompey? that hurts guys, it really does.
Beefy seems to be genuinly willing to defend the republic. The last night seems to indicate that the Mafia is severely weakened, maybe the Pompeiians are out, maybe not. We only know for a fact that Caesar is still around.
Therefore: Vote: johnhughtom
Vote: Beefy

:sigh: Can't you lot just investigate me and split tonight and get it over with?
No I was trying to lynch beefy who I have thought was one of ceaser's henchmen since from before I even heared of the group.
Wait, so let me get this straight. You thought beefy was one of Caesar's Legates. Then you are contacted by Isk/john/Split and they tell you beefy isn't Caesarian or even Populares as you thought, but that he is really Optimates, and that regardless if he is townie or Mafia, you should all kill him, and you say "ok, sure."
That being so, I wonder what does it matter that you thought he was a legate in the beginning of the game?
EDIT: Oh, no wonder you had said Iskander was your team mate. Just recalled that.
Most of you who voted for me havn't got any reasons..
Am I right to judge you as a scum? Or at least very very lazy town?
@Jolt: Firstly they never once actually said the he wasnt ceasar's lackey just that they thought he was optimate. Secondly I didn't realy trust them much anyhow so I didn't take their word at face value and I didnt care about their goals, they wanted the same guy lynched as me at the time, and they seemed willing to help me out if I helped them, so I went along with it. So yes, I said "ok sure" or more accurately "right".
Lastly I dont even know what legate realy means so I cant say that I thought he was one at the start as you claim.
Unvote: beefy
I have already explained why I can't be Caesar, I guess it's up to you to decide if you believe the reasoning. I see most of you are assuming Pompey actually is dead. I don't believe he is, I think he has no lackeys left alive and is trying to lurk his way to a shock victory. You know, I almost hope he pulls it off...
I think it's time to look into LittleGrizzly a bit closer.
How many suspects have we left?
3?: Beefy, Greyblades, johnhughthom ?
I think it would be unwise to make a list of people to lynch and stick to that. You need to keep all options open.
EDIT: I'm getting a bad feeling about how town is just blindly following the lead of Sasaki and his puppet, LittleGrizzly. This is going all too easy and smooth.
No, you need to use occam's razor. It's no good lynching someone based on the assumption that mafia can recruit. It's better to lynch someone for, say, organizing a populares group to get rid of the optimates and being one of the few inactive people the night aggonyduck was killed.
At the moment, we assume having sufficient numbers to afford a couple more mistakes.
But there's no harm in keeping all options open.
Besides, my calculations using ultra secret methods teach me that the probability that Sasaki will turn to the Dark Side in a game where he has the opportunity to do so is 99,9 % :snobby:
Of course, one could argue that I'm not good at math and that it should be 100 % instead of 99,9 % :smash:
This post would carry more weight if smileys would work.
It's standard for mafia to be given cover role pm's. Otherwise on day one everyone could post their role pm and we could lynch the people whose role pm's looked fake. Or right now everyone could post their role pm and we could lynch the ones that look fake.
You keep claiming that your role pm means you are innocent but have you ever asked beefy for his?
We do have sufficient numbers, not an assumption. Unless you assume the mafia have a "kill 10 people at night" special ability and decided not to use it last night.
There was 0% chance this game of me going for the partisan "victory". Wouldn't feel like winning, and I usually enjoy being town more than mafia these days.Quote:

I haven't ever said that beefy was mafia, I was simply going for a Populares victory based on the fact that there are fewer Optimates. You can look at that whatever way you want, but it certainly doesn't make me mafia, just somebody looking for a quick victory.
I think its odd you, john, are attacking Sasaki the day after he pressed for Isk's lynch, when it is proven you and Isk were about to lynch Optimate beefy for no other reason than to go for a Mafia victory. So he helped the town kill a Mafia townie. You on the other hand, have been proven as a Mafia townie, so your credibility is 0.
Sounds a bit like bs to me...if you hadn't been active a couple nights ago...
You just confessed to being mafia.Quote:
