:brood: Actually it was Psychonaut I was questioning, because he posted the name of a Beatles song after it was clear that Beefy was already claiming John Lennon. Since then, Psychonaut has essentially claimed George Harrison, so it's all good, except that he should choose more appropriate song titles/lyrics (in his defense, I'm not sure what exactly you CAN do with "my sweet lord" and "krishna krishna").

Those two work for me. AVSM's post is hinky as far as it goes, but it's weak sauce.

I'd actually like to find something in all that "sing song" mess from yesterday, except that I'm hard pressed to figure out what the mafia's motives would have been with it, if any. Possibly it might be wise to lynch ATPG to see whether more attention should be given to those who pulled his fat out of the fire or those who put him in it in the first place, but I already told him I wouldn't try to kill him until tomorrow.

I wonder if Nusrat is in this game.

Ummm, the sing song only reveals who that person is; it doesn't say if they have any abilities or whatnot.

Because it confirms them as a townie. Mafia must destroy confirmed townies. They're almost as bad as detectives even in small numbers. In large ones, they destroy you without any other abilities at all.

So you're saying that the mafia don't know one another? Because I was under the impression that this was like most mafia games of this size, where the scum have to kill anyone who isn't scum.

If Anthony and Billy are scum and know each other as such, they're going to kill Caleb, Darren, Eleanor and Fred, who they know not to be as they're not their allies, correct? Perhaps I've missed something.

For only 1 night kill per night, it is pretty over-powered.

It's because of the influence confirmed town has on other town. Tells them who can be trusted and who not to lynch. In sufficient numbers they can make it impossible for even a strong mafia team to win.

No, the idea is that any PROVEN TO EVERYONE townie is dangerous.

Reason being that inactive players lose endgames.
