Great powerful Scotsmen, in their war kilts, invade Sweden. Using their horseshoe crab clubs, they hit a Sweden man on skis so hard that he sees stars. His girlfriend behind him is shocked, and covers her mouth.
As ABBA continue their lovely skiing holiday in the Swedish mountains, they are attacked by a crazed, IKEA Axe wielding, semi-nude ginger Viking. A local resident of the area points, throws back her blonde hair and laughs as the famous pop group are hacked to lots of tiny pieces by the beardless Viking.
Once upon a time, there was a famous Swedish barbarian warrior wielding the mystical axe. One day the warrior decided to march towards the Swedish mountains where Swedish Ski pros would practice their skill. Watching all this on his laptop, alien with glasses on laughs and eats his favourite chocolates, aka M&Ms. In the distance, Swedish girl with bunny ears, laughed, cleansing all evil in the world.
The purple candy-eating alien was delighted when the movie it was watching on its laptop had a viking join the cast of fluffy bunnies and skiing ninjas.
Scrimshaw, muscular purple gecko-man, is preparing his PowerPoint presentation on his laptop. He is presenting on male Viking Opera singers, formidable skiing Ninja's and hordes of fluffy, yet delicious, rabbits. Scrimshaw is deciding the colour scheme, so is eating skittles for inspiration. Scrimshaw is feeling the pressure so smokes heavily, and his teeth are stained a horrible yellow. Scrimshaw's left arm appears to be in a salute.
A purple dinosaur, who happens to be a black belt in karate, is spitting dirty water balloons, Christmas ornaments, and eggs into the air while smoking a cigarette. Adorned with his viking helmet, huge cigarette, and pet rabbit, he can't help but think of a ninja sitting on a red floor using a macintosh computer.

Re: Paper Telephone [EPYC] game - Always accepting signups
It all goes terribly wrong with Winston, doesn't it?

Re: Paper Telephone [EPYC] game - Always accepting signups
It always does ...
Although I'm amused how long the battle-axe persisted despite it never being specifically mentioned. And for some reason the Ikea tag on Winston's version of same just makes my day.
I like CDF's lateral thinking, too.

This is why I'm not allowed to play EPYC over at CFC. :sweatdrop:

Winston's image was brilliant. (sincerely)
"Hacked" = alien hacking computer
"pieces" = Reese's pieces.
Well it wasn't obvious but it WAS brilliant.

Re: Paper Telephone [EPYC] game - Always accepting signups
I was surprised how long sweden, scotsmen, and skis lasted. I guess those are easy to draw and comprehend. The stingrays didn't last too long though.
Sweden lasted about halfway through, until Double A's image. The skis lasted until ArpeggiateTHIS's image, then Splitpersonality did his caption. At that point it was nothing like the original image.
I have no idea what CDF was talking about. :laugh4: Perfect ending.

It is incredible that there is nothing left of the original sentence. You would have thought that the skis or Swedish flag might have made it through...

:laugh4:
I'm glad to see that I managed to get the major points of the sentence to persist at least halfway through. If my stingrays hadn't been mistaken for horseshoe crabs (meh, close enough), the next caption would have been essentially exactly the same.
Then Winston messed it up with his abstract picture-logic.
Viking>Skiers>Hacked>Pieces. :laugh4:
I wish we could get these done faster- they're really fun!
If we get to do another game, I want captions next time.

I'm not going to wait until sign ups are over to do the turns. It's already Split's turn... sign up and your turn will be very soon indeed. :beam:
Watch, by the time I get 20 sign-ups, it will be the 20th person's turn already.
