You're still listed on the database as being not in the mood for invitations. :embarassed:

I would have asked you to join the day I opened this thread if I had known you were interested.
I'd love it if anyone on this list joined the game but I'm respecting their wishes on the matter.
PLEASE join, Andres! I miss you!

Ah. I always ignored that list when inviting people ~;p
In, but only for an innocent townie role that doesn't take too much time, please.

I am a bit gun shy about that. What if they get offended? I don't like confrontations! I don't think I could take that kind of rejection....

Marking you down for the role of the Super-Duper Mega-Evil Ultra-Complicated Sith Tyrant riding a Sith Dragon wearing a Sith helmet and drinking a Sith of bourbon with a cherry on top, riiiight now....

I will join, though continuing time constraints (and the recent release of Fallout: New Vegas) make me unsure how much time I will have to devote to this. Please accept my apologies in advance if I am less verbose than usual.

In case this helps:
- Due to the size of this game and the focus on night actions it has, voting regularly (in the opening rounds, anyway) is less important. I will allow someone to miss up to 4 day phases of voting in a row before I WOG/replace them at the end of the fifth missed day.
- You will be able to give orders for any expected absences, which I will automatically execute for you on your behalf. Just tell me what you want your character to do and I'll mark it down.
- There will be a Summary/Information thread to help people catch up on what they missed.
You could almost think of this game as the ultimate auto-pilot mafia game. I of course would encourage more active and direct participation, for your own fun and entertainment, but Pizza always needs moar bodies for the fire.

You are talking only about Big Newyorker, or also Star Wars?

No, Big New Yorker would require less of an autopilot and more of an active player if you intend to accomplish anything at night.
You can get by for a while just fine doing nothing but you won't gain needed experience and you won't gain much wealth. You're also likely to be picked off as no one is working with you so you have no protection and no one has any reason to want you alive.

Yeah, I have readed thread about Big New Yorker now.
I understand what you mean, I suppose...

If you get the people for it, you should do Big New Yorker, atpg. 70 people signing up doesn't come along every day, at least not for most of us.:laugh4:

Ah yes, I hear you, that's most certainly true.
Currently Star Wars is in the lead in the poll, and even a casual glance at the list of players tells me that many of them came just for the Star Wars game. Second place in the poll is "either one is fine."
Presently there's not enough interest in just the Big New Yorker to sustain such a game, as it will admittedly be more involved than this one. The original concept threads for both had 33 interesteds for Star Wars and only 22 I think for Big New Yorker; interest in the Big New Yorker would have to be at least double that before it had a chance of going very well. You have to have a lot of interested committed players or else it would get boring. A lot of death, yes, but a lot of tedious "let's get rid of another lurker/inactive person" death. You have to have more enthusiasm than what I've gotten so far, otherwise it will compromise the integrity of the game.
I tell you what, if this game goes well, then it will prove I am ready to handle a game such as the Big New Yorker, which was ridiculous in it's ambition to have as many players as I wanted, with the rule complexity I envisioned.

I'd also like everyone to be familiar with the gameroom rules. There is no swearing at all here. Other parts you can get away with minor words, but here there are to be none. Replace anything you want with either *****, for each letter, you can't say, for example p**** for pever, it has to be *****. The classy way, however, if you have to, is to substitute a nice little flower. :daisy: The code for that is: :daisy:
We also have some rules, like Rule #1. You should go learn that.
Also, fear peverreenk.
Thanks for the info.
Also lol at the Pizzaface Scareface joke :D
It's an awesome movie.

Yes, but from the context of what I was saying;
They are on the No Invite list. They sign up to games without being invited to them; just respecting their wishes on that. I copy/pasted the whole list of No Invite people because I'm lazy.

Definitely playing, and praying for the Big New Yorker. :D

:bigcry: Darn you, CFC and TWC, for running vaguely similar ideas at the same time as the one I stole borrowed from Sigurd. https://img156.imageshack.us/img156/2056/emotargh.gif
*draws lightsaber* All right, that's enough. Everyone else stay just where you are. In the name of the Galactic Senate of the Republic, you're all under arrest. Jedi Masters, Vrook and Vandar, have been murdered by the Sith. The Council will decide your fate.

Re: Sign up thread: Star Wars: Fall of the Order [last chance to reserve a spot]
Note that the Game Thread has been created and updated with IMPORTANT INFORMATION.
Please read everything I have posted Here. Now you have an idea of what to expect from the game. Ask me questions whenever you like, you can post them here or send them privately.
Reminder; game starts in a few days. Role PMs are being designed as we speak.

You're not too late Nictel, I had you marked down for a while now.
Also, welcome back Johnhughthom to the game. Woot!

Re: Sign up thread: Star Wars: Fall of the Order [last chance to reserve a spot]
Anyone else? People should have read their invitations and decided by now.
The game design is COMPLETE.
Role PMs (Massive amount of work) are 33% COMPLETE.
When Role PMs are all out and the sign-up thread is closed, the game will begin.
I estimate I can have this done in two more days, perhaps?
<object style="height: 390px; width: 640px"><param name="movie" value="https://www.youtube.com/v/JpliwRNp4kA?version=3"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="https://www.youtube.com/v/JpliwRNp4kA?version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="25"></object>
Closing time. One last call for sign-ups, so hurry up and get your fanny in gear.

You're most welcome.
Now all we need is Crazed Rabbit, Reenk Roink, Kukrikhaan, Yaseikhaan, Seamus Fermanagh, Louis IV the Fat, Proletariat, Craterus, CountArach, AggonyDuck, DisgruntledGoat, Kommodus, Myrddraal, Scottishranger, El Diablo, The Stranger, woad&fangs, Alexander the Pretty Good, Centurion1, FactionHeir, Generalhankerchief, Greyblades, Iskander 3.1, LittleGrizzly, Methos, Omanes Alexandrapolites, Quintus.JC, shlin28, Taka, TevashSzat, Thermal Mercury, Twilightblade, White_eyes:D, Lemur, Gregoshi, and Yoyoma1910, and our journey to the Dark Side will be complete.
Unfortunately I don't think any of these are likely to show up, and with great sadness I feel that several others I've invited will not read their invitation in time.
Basically, if you don't read your invitation within a week, you're too busy to play mafia anyway. Sign-ups will close when I am done passing out Role PMs, which should be 66% completed within the hour.
My dreams of ruling the mightiest mafia empire of them all are at an end, but I got close enough. I think if the gameroom hadn't been so dead when I started this thing, I could have passed 80 or 90 players by now, and it would definitely have warranted a Big New Yorker.
Perhaps next year sometime when this place is bursting with players, as I hope it will be.
And yes, I bolded each of those names individually. They are all that special.

Re: Sign up thread: Star Wars: Fall of the Order [last chance to reserve a spot]
I have asked personally for Myrdd and Ducky to join, but both are too busy in real life to join.

Thanks for the effort anyway. A bunch of those people I mentioned are on the do not invite me list, and a bunch more have been absent for ages. I'm not surprised I didn't get those people, but man, this game would have been so much more awesome with at least a few of them aboard. These are some quality personalities to add to this already excellent group.
UPDATE: Role PMs are now 66% completed... (there was a slight delay)
You have one more day.
