Are you using edited unit lighting or are the skins just darker than what most mods have? Personally I find them a bit too dark, they look out of place a bit (compared to the environment) and then some of the details are lost.

It's a bit of both, i'm useing Archers Bi Skymod which does give the daylight a bit of an eerie feel, and i do darken the skins quite a bit, we haven't totally decided on whether to use the skymod but in general it does look better than vannila lighting, though not as good as the Rtw skymod. Grading the units is something i intend to look at when the mod is finished as it's much easier to grade the whole lot in one go using a photoshop actions.

I'm playing as the Kindom of Albion and I've just invaded the Satanic held regions around greece after many years of fighting them across Europe, this seems to have upset them somewhat and they have brought up their armies from the holy lands for a counter attack.

I like your style. If there's one thing I would recommend, it's to edit the map so it's still slightly recognisable as Europe but completely twisted, like in Warhammer. And if possible to redo campaign and battlemap textures so they look dark and desolate.
Good progress, looks like an interesting mod.

I've never seen warhammer so i'm not sure what you mean, we're pretty happy with it as is, colour wise i did think of that a long way back but decided to keep it as is because some of the strat units are quite dark and would be hard to see.

Basically, it´s our world, with a slightly changed shape of lands; each faction in Warhammer has a real-world background (The Empire is Renessaince Germany, Bretonnia is England/France in the early years of the Hundred Years War, with a good part of the Artus Myth added, The Vampire Counts have different Bloodlines, representing the different fictional takes on Vampires, etc.).

I can't take credit, to be honest, most of the really cool units are Shogo's (with a bit of reskining by me) and without the amazing work of Makanyane i would have probably given up by now, that said we're getting closer to releasing this all the time and yes it is really good, if i can be a little boastfull. As always the support is greatfully recived.:2thumbsup:

Beta testers wanted.
Yup we need beta testers, testers will be chosen on a level of experience basis, meaning we need people with some knowledge of modding and preferably some previous beta testing. Saying that we would like at least two people with no experience but a desire to try out this mod so we can get feedback on the aesthetics and atmosphere, We want to keep the initial tests to two weeks and if all goes well hope to release shortly after that time. So if you have time and think you can help we would love to hear from you.

You probably have one the best looking mods out there. If I would have posted earlier I would have suggested this , don't waste time with a cannon , If I'm correct the NTW 2 team had a ***** of a time to get theres working straight . Besides that its a O_O of a mod . You need three things , a unit that can do the phalanx , a cataphract unit and a elephant unit for the Buddhists .

Yup, the cannon was scrapped long ago, Phalanx, certain factions have phalanx units, Cataphracts, we have heavy knights for all factions accept the shambhala, Elephants...hmm didn't bother with them...there's plenty of cool units in the Shambhala ranks though. Thanks for the compliments...:beam:

We hope to release End of days in a few umm days.
So sharpen the sharp pointy sticks and put plenty of garlic in your bolognase, or get mum to wash your black hodded cloak and borrow some black eye liner (if you like that sort of thing), cause by the pricking of my thumbs........

Yeah, to bad, a FEW Eles. for the Shambhala would have been OK. Could always add stock Indian Eles. though.
