different girl.
That shouldn't stop you.
i dont know im a guy. i dont think i just do.
thinking is against my nature.
hooah we are men we are never guilty.
He already done something stupid, he started this thread. Asking for advice is unmanly.
Pride always comes before a fall.
It is better to take the leap yourself and simply ask for advice rather than wait for a situation to escalate into something bad or pass you by entirely.
This is an awesome thread, Hooah.
As a reward, here's the secret to female conquest of highly succesful, manly men:

Her mouth says no, but her lip gloss says yes
Who needs enthusiastic consent when cosmetics can tell you if she's in the mood?
By Kate Harding
So, here's the worst idea I've heard all week: Lip gloss that lets everyone around you know you're horny. "The saucy slap changes from clear to deep crimson as the wearer feels frisky," reports The Sun. "It works by reacting with a girl's body chemistry. And each £12 tube comes with a colour chart so men can work out how randy their partner is feeling."

dude we are like the worst people to ask. after i got back from my last date i came......... here. gosh i have no life.Quote:
oh, well excuse me for wanting advice after ive messed things up with 2 other girls because i didnt ask for advice.
well i told her.
and all i know now is that she doesnt like me, at least in the way i do.
Oh, that really sucks. It took a lot of courage for you to come out and be honest with her, and it's commendable that you took that risk.
The whole "I just want to be friends" thing hurts deeply no matter what gender you are, and it doesn't get any easier the more you hear it, no matter what anyone says. I sincerely hope that your friendship is not harmed as a result of this, and hope that she can see past your admission and see that you want her in your life in whatever capacity possible, even if it is just as a friend.
Be strong, don't take it too personally and just remember that there is always someone out there for you; you have your whole life to find that special someone. Keep your chin up. :3
exact reaction:
prelude- she also told me she wasnt going to go with me to the banquet, which upset me.
im pretty sure i messed something up along the way.Quote:
me: fine, if u guess ill tell you
her: akiva
me: no, actually, ill call u with the name- its more proper
her: no its k
me: well i think id better tell u one-on-one
her: y
me: b/c
her: is it u
me: ..
her: ?
me: ya- i originally wrote the "someone else likes you" because i wasnt thinking, then after i realized my mistake i tried to cover it up, sorry, hope u arent mad or anything
her: nope
me: thank god, we can still be friends, right? i value that the most
her: mhm
me: wow i cant believe i just told u. no one else knows that besides u,and i intend to keep it that way, i also wanted to ask you to awards banquet, but i knew that david would want to ask you but i did it anyhow
her: i wish ppl didnt go with dates
me: well i wanted to go with u as a friend, and put my like for you aside, its easy for me to do that, honestly, id rather us be friends
forget it. i seriously regret telling u. and now u know why i didnt want to tell u
her: why u regret it? ill just pretend like it didnt happen
me: please? anyhow, lets just forget this episode, shall we?
her: already on that
me: good!
Wait, so she decided not to attend the awards banquet with you before you admitted you liked her? That's odd... is there any reason why?
I don't really think you could have put that any better considering the circumstances (close friendship, nerves etc), but her responses seem... abrupt. I think she's genuinely surprised by your admission... that isn't necessarily a bad thing, though. Don't even remotely consider that you messed something up; anyone here, male or female, would have taken those steps too if it meant being happy, myself included. You should be pleased that you had the courage to go for it. Nobody even wins the lottery if they don't buy a ticket.
Anyways, do not force the issue, if anyone is going to mention the situation, let it be her. In the meantime, just ensure that you remain friends, that you keep doing the same stuff without any awkward sentiments and see what happens from there.
The trick is to expect/accept it in advance. It's a perfectly reasonable and honest response, I don't expect to be the greatest man for the woman of my choice, if a woman tells me she just wants to be friends I appreciate it, of course it won't make me happy but life goes on and I can still find others, somewhere, perhaps, if I'm lucky...
Think of a "relationship"(in the non-platonic sense) as the cherry on the cake that your friendship already is, it's perfectly possible to enjoy this cake without it.
Personally, I don't like cherries anyway but that's for another thread.
If at all possible, do one of her friends now, if not sooner.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Told you on page one already you needed a cute shiksa for a nice springtime puppy love affair.
You know, there are women you can pay for it. Probably costs less than all the dinners, flowers and chocolate and gets you there faster. :balloon2:
STD STD STD STD STD ITS SPELLED STD
I second Drone's advice. Although you should've just gone with her and seen what happens admiting your infatuation generally becomes a mess IMO, although In high school I realize that it's par for the course
Keep your chin up boy-o
Re-reading this, now I'm confused. This thread was created to get into this girl's pants, right? So the whole thing was pretty much a lost cause anyway? Or are we on another girl at this point? I seem to have lost the plot here.... :stooge_larry::stooge_moe::stooge_curly:
forget her man. dude you will find a date. just walk up to some chick and act like you expect a yes. say it to her face and be abrupt you will get a yes probably. do it now before they are all taken though.
im going to have to make my move soon.....
well 3 days since and all is going well. we still talk as much as we used to, not awkward at all.
Its manly to go after a hot foreign exchange student from Brazil who arrived in the country the day before, right?
ouch that sucks i personally cant make up my mind, though my friends keep warning me to hurry.Quote:
They're already taken. All of them. Every last one.
Or at least they might as well be, seeing as how little they want to do with me.
Funny you say so because I keep pushing the wrong buttons she says, what does she mean??
So ive decided. i hope i didnt make a mistake........ lol
Keep telling yourself that; as long as you believe it, all will be well, no?
You should be pushing Y, X, B or A rather than Triangle, Square, Circle or X. xD
What were your options and which one did you pick?
This one cheerleader who always bothers me (dumb)Quote:
What were your options and which one did you pick?
*note on cents cheerleaders, they are ugly.*

I choose the softball captain. She can defend me (real strong girl) and she has great legs.
Win Win.
*those were the ones i like had "offers" from, i actually asked the girl i ended goign with, we are sort of platonic i just wanna go with someone i like talking to. I dont need to get my ashes hauled
Me?Quote:
Well, no; I"m still not getting any dates. Strange, one would think women would jump all over the guy who knows what they want...
i play football, basketball, and run track (actually i quit), lift weights and can spell.Quote:

i don't know what l33t is?
Edit: oh and i have thick luxurious hair which i brush a minimum of 1000 times a day with my illegal whalebone brush. lol nah i got it cut really short, like high and tight short.
question-
so the girl i like is going to the banquet with someone else.
do you think its ok to ask another girl (just a friend) to go with me? maybe it would make her jealous?
I wanna, I wanna, I wanna, I wanna, I really really wanna zig-a-zig-ah!
You had to know that was coming, surely? xD
So the girl going with someone else... are we talking about your friend who you revealed to over Instant Messaging? That's totally not a nice move by her, she sounds like a Mean Girl.
If that is the case, then I'm afraid to say that anything's fair game; if you can find someone else to go with, do so. But make sure it's someone you can stand to dance with or give a kiss or whatnot... and not just someone to use as a trophy to make this other girl jealous.
Some are more identical then others though
Aside of having boobs and a bajingo, what makes all women identical? We don't all behave the same, we don't share the same interests, we don't all have the same physical/mental aptitudes for things. I'm not identical to... say Cheryl Cole in the slightest way beyond the fact we have the same anatomical features, for example.
My point was that you generalised your own point and said that "women don't know what they want" when that is not the case for every single woman the world over, is it?
Generalisation is bad, mmmkay?
I'd never tar you all with the same brush, either. Each and every person is unique.Quote:
And so are we men.
There's a difference between being humanistic and being racist, treacle.Quote:

Give it up Secura. You're dealing with the mighty Guns of Testosterone now. :laugh4:
I'm going to refrain from commenting on that video again, lest this thread be taken to the Backroom where I cannot post.
So, how do the minimalistic women of the Huli not know what they want from life? Or what about the female Inuit? I'm keen to learn about your cultural knowledge... :P
I don't agree with this, but by gosh, it made me laugh. xD
I just got my first free one! ^
They're sitting around in the jungle and icy desert respectively all day doing almost nothing, if they knew what they want, they'd go and do it!
Oh and Hooah, do you maybe fit one of the 12 types of shapeshifters, she may have read the book...
I don't make the rules, just enforce them
But... that's both sets of cultures fulfilling what they know they want to do; staying at home, taking care of their young and the general welfare of their respective communities while their menfolk go out and hunt. They don't aspire to do anything else, because they're set on doing what is deemed necessary for survival of themselves and their kin.
They know what they want and they do it. :P
