Good one man. Way to explain yourself. In case you didn't notice, I was strongly against pever last turn, and he turned out to be mafia. What were you doing?

As innocent as they come.
Its like your trying to make the distinction between Men/Good men.
I may have been a man, but I had the best role in the game darn it, and I revealed a killer N1!
Anyway, point is. Two types of townies in this game. I still won with the town, or did you forget that piece of information from the publicly posted role PM.
Vote: abstain Cause you know assisting suicide is also a crime in some parts of the galaxy.
Vote:Beefy cause you know you derserve some attention...
I should I have said that it made no sense for me. Perhaps because I dislike this particular brand of bandwagonning.
So what you're saying here is that I should vote for you?
Unvote, Vote: Renata :clown:
If the number of kills or the way of killing changes, I'll revise my theory and assumption, sure. Thank you for linking the kills to a specific faction, I'm afraid my knowledge of the lore is rather poor.
Well, I'll just go back to vote: No lynch.
This page states that his personal craft fires rays of blue electricity. :3
vote: Krill lazy scum doesn't post much, he must be hiding!
i cant trust anyone that just votes with their friend, smells of team star wolf to me.
vote:Wideyedwanderer
:laugh4:
Well that theory is shot then. I could've sworn that the lasers were red when I played that game...
I would still been the kill on Star Wolf, though. I thought of Panther immediately when I knew it was a one shot kill... it might've been a CHARGED LAZER, though, in which case it might've been Wolf himself.
(At this point, I can get really geeky for you. Typically in the games plasma guns are depicted as green, so I'm not sure what to think of red plasma. When you CHARGE YAH LAZER, though, the beam turns red... so it could be a CHARGED plasma beam. Of course, neither Wolf nor Panther nor Leon has a Plasma Beam initially.)
Plasma will change color based upon the combination of noble gases in it, and it's overall temperature. For it to go from green to red indicates either an influx of a gas, which is pointless, or a decrease in temperature, also pointless.
That's geeky.
Or, like how in StarFox 64, 95% of the enemies fired red lasers. So it could be anybody. :tongue2:
Do yer thing.
... I was under the impression that Darth Vader shot the red lasers from that ship. Certainly seemed like it.
Day Phase Two
General Pepper: Fox, the fleet is under attack... I need you to escort our cruisers through Sector Y safely. Help us out here!
Fox McCloud: Roger, General. I'll be on the lookout for enemy ships. Don't worry, your fleet is safe with me!
You can watch this video for fun, but it doesn't quite fit into the story. Might provide good background noises though. :beam:

General Pepper: All fighter units, scramble. Defensive formations... protect the cruisers!
Peppy Hare: They're on me! I'm gettin' careless!
Fox McCloud: I'll be right there, Peppy.
Peppy Hare: Your father helped me like that, too!
Fox McCloud: Here comes the cavalry. All right fellas, let's split up and take it to 'em!
Cornerian pilot: All wings report in.
Bill Grey: It looks like you could use some help, Fox.
Fox McCloud: Bill!
Bill Grey: I'll cover you, Fox. Just do what you do best!
General Pepper: Shields weakening. Fox, where are you?
Fox McCloud: Right behind you general. I spot the enemy.... I'm taking them out.
Peppy Hare: Use bombs wisely. Allied craft, move to a safe distance!
Fox McCloud: Smart Bomb 01, deployed.
Bill Grey: Well that sure got them. Are you sure you even need the rest of us, Fox?
Fox McCloud: Don't relax. We're not done yet!
civplayah: Where's all my backup? I can't believe I'm trying to do this all by myself...
Peppy Hare: Fox, you've got an enemy on your tail!
Fox McCloud: Huh? What?
Peppy Hare: Use the brake!
Fox McCloud: Reversing thrusters....
*civplayah's ship nearly crashes into Fox's arwing*
civplayah: What the heck is this guy doing? Evasive maneuvers!
Fox McCloud: All right. Let's take him out, boys!
Bill Grey: I've got the left.
Peppy Hare: I've got the right!
Rob64: Great Fox will cover you.
Fox McCloud: I'm right on his tail.
civplayah: What have I gotten myself into? I'm getting outta here!
Peppy Hare: I won't let you get away from me!
civplayah: There's too many of them! Venomian units, where are you???
*Red blaster fire strikes civplayah's vessel*
civplayah: Thanks a lot guys.... some help you are!
Bill Grey: That will teach him not to find anyone suspicious!
civplayah: Oh come on! It's round two.... give me a break!
Fox McCloud: I've got ya!
A swarm of ships fired in the direction of civplayah's fighter craft. There was nowhere to escape to... all the space around him lit up with green, blue, red, and yellow blaster fire.

Great write up Pizza McGuy :beam:
Now Fox McCloud uses Red lasers too ? :help: damn this is getting complicated
No wait that was the Rebel Alliance... well, there goes my theory.
ALL HE WANTED TO DO WAS GO TO DISNEYLAND YOU @#%@*^#%@(&(!&@#^(!&^#(&!
Oh wait, he was Venomian. And I voted to kill him too. Never mind.
You may have hit on to something there, starfox's original mission was to eliminate the vemonian fighters.
Somebody translate that into "never played Nintendo"-ese for me?
What's the link to the "story" thread that has the townie/neutral role messages again?
I asume you mean the write up section ? you will find it in the game room, it has a thread of its own. else
https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showt...tion-thread%29
Actually, that isn't true.
It is a Rubicon set-up. The vemons are simply another town faction. Half the players here (roughly) would be vemonians.
There are the Cornies, and the Vemons. Both with their respective heroes (Starfox and StarWolf). Both of these factions are ultimately trying to kill BB (the Big Bad), with the lesser victory condition of being stronger in number than the other town faction.
Also, the Cornies would want StarWolf dead, however, the Venoms would want StarFox dead. (So having either StarFox or StarWolf revealed, would end up in being voted against by the town)
Well, I guess I deserve this for my 'suspicious' post (which I still don't get) but, no hard feelings.
I have all actions in for this game and also the MM3 game-
Unfortunately I have eye and neck strain and a headache and cannot do any further writing. I must take a break.
The writeup will be done ASAP, but I will probably be napping first. Sorry for the delay.
*rubs neck and takes peak at write up*
Night Phase Two

Meteo Asteroid Field
<object style="height: 344px; width: 425px"><param name="movie" value="https://www.youtube.com/v/TY_2j0KWyKo"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="https://www.youtube.com/v/TY_2j0KWyKo" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="425" height="25"></object>
choxorn was piloting his starfighter through the Meteo asteroid field, trying to get to Katina the quickest way: via the hyperspace warp hidden in the asteroids. He noticed some space wreckage nearby that looked suspiciously like a Venomian starfighter. He slowed his speed, and set sensors to maximum, and darted from behind one asteroid to the other, trying not to be spotted. In the distance, he spotted some craft he did not recognize. Thinking quickly, he shut down all engines and all systems besides life support and thrusters, and put his ship into a drift mode. A quick tap on the stabilizers threw him off his axis, and within seconds, he looked like an ordinary piece of space debris. With no lights or EM activity, the ship was dark and sensors wouldn't be able to easily detect it.
This was a difficult maneuver, but his years of training helped prepare him for this moment. He kept a keen eye out for any large, fast moving asteroids, and simply accepted the damage his vessel was taking from the dust and rocks that were colliding with his ship. It would look rough when it was all over, but the ship would hold together.
choxorn spotted a large asteroid off in the distance, and did a quick calculation in his head. He pressed on his forward thrusters to knock him slightly out of the roll and in the direction of the large asteroid. When he got near, he turned on the navcomputer and estimated the distance to target. He found a nice crater which would serve as a relatively safe place to land. When he had almost crashed into the asteroid, he quickly tapped on the stabilizers and came out of the roll, then he lowered the landing gear and turned the stabilizers vertical. Once he touched down on the asteroid, he would have to keep the stabilizers on at a low thrust setting, so that he could cling to the surface of the asteroid in this near-zero gravity situation. The gas from the thrusters would look exactly like thermal vents.
After an hour of clinging to the surface of the asteroid, he turned on his sensor equipment and the cabin heater, since his instrument panels were starting to freeze up. After several rotations of the asteroid, he was able to tell that any ships in the area had left. It was time to leave. He switched off the stabilizers and safely drifted away from the large asteroid, and headed straight for the warp rings. They were only about 30,000 kilometers away. Choxorn turned on the deflector shield and eased his vessel out of the densest part of the asteroid field, and fired up his main thruster to maximum. Within minutes, he was at the warp.
choxorn drifted into the first warp ring, and felt a burst of speed as the ship was magnetically propelled forward to the next warp ring. He hit the next warp ring and angled himself to the next one, gaining speed at a significant rate of acceleration. The magnetic rings caused the ship to spin, so choxorn held on for dear life, and switched his inertial dampeners to maximum. The stars outside his cockpit were spinning around so fast that they were nothing more than white blurry rings. He felt the ship shudder as it passed through magnetic rings four, five, and six.... Suddenly, his instrument panels lit up red, and alarms and warning signals went off.
DANGER. DANGER. SUBSPACE ANOMALY DETECTED.
At this rate of speed, and the fact that he was spinning at a rate of 300 revolutions per second, there was no way his little ship could reverse momentum and ease out of the warp zone in time. He was heading straight for the anomaly at 3,000 kilometers per second, and there was nothing he could do about it. He switched on his comm system and sent out one last distress call.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Choxorn: Blue 11 is heading into a subspace anomaly! Blue 11 is heading into a subspace anomaly! If I don't make it.... tell my wife.... I love her....
When choxorn entered the anomaly, he was moving too fast to see a great interruption of the space-time continuum; a massive gravity well. All manner of space debris and matter were being flung around at near-light speed. His sensors detected that the center of the anomaly had relatively normal space, and the navcomputer automatically adjusted the ship's thrusters to compensate, and angle it toward normal space, directly down the center of the vortex.
However, sensors also detected a large object being hurtled down the center of the vortex.... a missile with a proton-antiproton warhead. With no way to stop the momentum of his vessel, all he could do was take his chances in the outer edge of the gravity well, and hope he could pull himself back in time. But even though he narrowly missed the proton-antiproton missile, he was flying out of control toward the edges of the well, where there was nothing but chaos, gravity, matter, velocity, and death. He only had seconds left to live.

Begin Day Three
Voting ends in approximately 48 hours, or 0600 on June 21st, GMT-5:00, eastern time USA. However, that night phase will end on the usual 2359, so be aware you have the full amount of time to vote, but less time to do night actions in the upcoming phase. Try to get your orders in on time, even send them in advance if necessary. I want to compensate for this delay, and you've got plenty of warning, so it shouldn't be a problem.
EDIT: All result PMs have been sent out.
Vote: Romanic
He seems quiet.
vote: shlin28
Same as yesterday.
vote: God Emperor
He too seems too quiet.
Interesting, only one kill tonight?
I'll Vote: Krill, for now. Self voting lurker who chides himself for lurking? :dizzy2:
Vote: Rob_the_Celt
only a single kill, as TheFlax points out, and ATPG seemed a bit upset one of the killers werent too active? at any rate it could be worth trying out a less active person, thus my vote
Don't worry about me, I'll talk more when I have a lead or something. :smug2:
Where did ATPG seemed upset about inactivity?
On the contrary, it seems that everyone posted their night actions.
"Try to get your orders in on time, even send them in advance if necessary. I want to compensate for this delay, and you've got plenty of warning, so it shouldn't be a problem."
I of cause wont rule out the possiblity that I am wrong in this ^^ anyway thanks for asking, might clear up a misunderstanding:bow:
I think that's ATPG making sure players will send their orders in time because the next night phase will be 18 hours instead of 24. I'm not seeing any hint about people missing their orders last night.
My suspicions from yesterday haven't abated, and thus he gets my vote again.
vote: shlin28
Sorry, I haven't been active so far. I've barely been home the last few days and when I was the World Cup was taking up a lot of my time. I haven't had the chance to read the thread, only the write-ups, so if anybody could bring me up to speed, I'd appreciate it.
I'll see to be more active in the future.
When it comes to this round, I find that both Secura and Renata regularly have a good hunch about people, so I'll blindly follow them at this point. Vote: slin28.
Also, who could resist the ladies. :sweatdrop:
vote: Jooray
His location is : Big Bad Bonn. :laugh4:
Vote:wideyedwanderer
[QUOTE=Joooray;2509690]Sorry, I haven't been active so far. I've barely been home the last few days and when I was the World Cup was taking up a lot of my time. I haven't had the chance to read the thread, only the write-ups, so if anybody could bring me up to speed, I'd appreciate it.
I'll see to be more active in the future.
At this point 2 venomian and 2 Cornerian has been killed, and the first night 2 murders occured, this night only a single murder. Appart from Pevergreen, who closed to be lynched the first round, the murdered people have not been too active in this game
Liking the votes without reasoning here. Great tactic in the third round.
Vote: johnhughthom
I think the write-up was more of a hint towards the fact that the void was actually Andross.
1. choxorn couldn't see the void, so for all we know it could be anything.
2. The void apparently was not a distortion of space. That means it wasn't a black hole, and it's more likely that it's just Andross sucking stuff in.
I don't know what the missile is a hint towards, though, if it is at all.
Reasoning behind my vote:
wideyedwanderer made a lazy vote last round, I called him on it and he got very upset accusing me of voting without reason. Big difference, my vote wasn't likely to count toward someone getting lynched. Most innocents in his shoes would have ignored my vote and I would have forgotten about him.
That got you talking.
Good enough reasoning for me.
Unvote: johnhughthom
However, I haven't played with wideyedwanderer so I don't know what his "normal" behavior is... I'm not going to commit a vote on him yet. So for now...
Vote: God Emperor
Interesting he showed up immediately after he was accused of being too quiet.
I understand what you mean, but since you prefere having people explaining themselves I will let you know ^^ I posted because I want to be a part of the game since its my first and I am rather excited about participating :laugh4:
Also I must admit I dont see how I am too quiet. I have been fairly active ever since I was given a free spot:embarassed:
Lazy vote? I've voted to kill two venomians, I don't think that's lazy. You, on the other hand, saying nothing besides, "Not as suspicious as you," now that is lazy. You clearly voted because you are scum, and wish to prolong any attention put on you and your teammates, and voted for someone you think is innocent. If I had ignored your vote, you would be accusing me of lurking and not providing any explanation for myself. I think the people who tend to ignore accusations are more likely to be mafia.
Vote: johnhughtom, he's certainly not innocent.
You have to admit that it's a bit peculiar in a game where our objective is to kill the Big Bad. I can imagine someone bragging at how he had his role written in our faces the whole game. :laugh4:
Is there a way to confirm that you had this location name before receiving your role PM?
Venomians are not the bad guys... They just want to survive in this hostile Universe. After all, what is the difference between the Venomians and Cornerians? Both sides want to outnumber the other by the game's end (i.e. killing the other group), yet somehow you consider the Cornerians to be better? How? Why are you so species-ist?
Just lynching Venomians is not the answer my friend, only by working together can the Venomians and Cornerians destroy the ultimate evil once and for all. Indeed, attempting to bringing about the death of not one, but two Venomians would hinder the Conerian cause, and certainly nothing to be proud about.
Of course, I don't really believe this, because I am just an evil alien trying to destroy everything you loved, right?
Vote: wideyedwanderer
We need to prioritize guys...
1) BB
2) neutral killers
3) other faction
Ok, before I was on your side, but an OMGUS vote followed by a nice BS case against him is too much.
Coupled with God Emperor's explanation:
Unvote, Vote: wideyedwanderer
(Sure is a lot of vote-changing from me today. :clown:)
Joooray's location has been "Big Bad Bonn" for at least as long as he's been in the Gameroom- and he's been here for a considerable amount of time. Voting him for that is not a very good idea. Maybe you should find a different reason to paint him as a scum and draw attention away from yourself, Romanic.
:laugh4:
Funny but true.
Hey thanks, I feel like you care about me Chaotix :sweetheart:
What's odd about questioning someone who has the mafia boss name marked as his location? I've seen worse reasons to vote for someone.
But yeah, thanks for confirming that he had this location name before the game started. Now let's hope ATPG is not sick enough to have picked him for this reason :grin3:
unvote Jooray.
Hey what happened to White_Eyes:D?
seems like there is a few players inactive who are normally active.
Aww man where is Whitey? He's so :D-y.
Vote:wideyedwanderer
His defensiveness since yesterday has been strange. Now, from some players, with whom I have limited experience, I would write such behaviour off as their standard modus operandi. I dont know Wideyedwander, and therefore cannot really posit a definitive opinion.
I'll probably change my vote later if I notice something more subtle while going through the thread.
That puts wideyedwanderer in the lead by 4 votes
Also shlin28 is still competing with 3 votes
I think I'm more suspicious of shlin than of wideyedwanderer.
Unvote, vote: shlin28
I think a practically confirmed Cornerian is less likely to be guilty than shlin.
vote: shlin
