Hi everyone, really sorry about the delay.
I'll do one writeup, and then later on this evening I'll do the other one. If you need to send in night actions, you're already late. But send them in, okay? Anytime before I do the writeup is fine.
This isn't going to be spectacular but here goes.
Township of New Eden
11th January, 1612 A.D.
8:00 PM
The crowd advanced on classical_hero, certain that he was guilty, a witch, or worse.
"I'll have you know I'm completely innocent! Leave me alone!" said Mister Hero, as he pulled a long, deadly looking blade from the folds of his jacket.
"I'm afraid I can't do that, Hero. You see, you've been judged guilty by the fine citizens of this town. That means you must face the penalty..." said Askthepizzaguy, who just finished coughing up a lung.
"I'm totally innocent! Stay back or I'll murder you!" said Hero.
"What are you, Mister Hero? You're obviously not a man. You're some kind of foul creature. What do they call you, where you come from?"
"Lynch bait. Seriously, when have you guys ever lynched me and been right?" said Hero.
"I'll hear no more of this. GET HIM!!!" roared Pizzaguy.
And so the crowd advanced on the hapless butcher, who vowed to go out fighting. He was cornered, but he would make his accusers pay. That is, until he saw that the crowd was armed with pistols, and the Magistrate was wielding the familiar blunderbuss or "shotgun" as he called it.
"Yipe." said Mister Hero, suddenly feeling less heroic.
The smoke from their weapons could be seen from miles away. The sounds of gunfire reverberated throughout the town. Classical_hero fell to the ground, dropping his butcher knife. He was unrecognizeable, missing most of his head. And the rest of it wasn't in very good shape, either.

"There's nothing more I can do. It's only a matter of time... before..." said the Doctor.
"The pain is more than I can bear... please just put me out of my misery..." shouted BSmith.
The Magistrate nodded. "More of our own have been claimed by the deadly and unspeakable disease that melts flesh. The culprit for all this is clear... the Darklings still walk among us, inflicting terrible pain and death upon us.
If they are not stopped, our entire village will be destroyed..."
They eyed one another suspiciously. Who was behind all this?

Interesting... From what I can glean from the writeups, we're not necessarily in a bad spot. That said, we do need to get our lynch on. I think Vote:LazyMcCrow today is almost too obvious, but we can't let him get away with this lying business... The real issue is, who is it if LmC was actually telling the truth (ie: that their night results were conflicting because of some other cause)?
I'm still a bit suspicious of Double A, personally, but his demeanor strikes me as too careless for scum.

Edit: This voting on Lazy is exactly of the same type as when I wanted to lynch possible dying townies before. Then you told me that you weren't supposed to do like that.

Your first point - I can only reiterate that yesterday I was not myself. I have 'piloted' lynches and I believe they have been good ones. I had no reason to think that Jarema had been framed. There's no reasoning behind a vote on LazyMcCrow. He's the only one we can regard as a confirmed townie. Now we know about the possibility that someone can get "used" by someone else so we don't have to fear that any more.Quote:

Edse's reaction strikes me as scum protecting buddy. Which leads me to believe that the right move is Vote: Lazy McCrow and FoS: Edse. Hopefully that doesn't come out horribly wrong...

The only time I have visited anyone was on the first night and that was to Jarema. I feel that Jarema was indeed Darkling. I have not visited anyone since. It seems White_Eyes:D was not Darkling, but I feel confident that her ultimate goal was not that of a regular townie.The fact that my actions yesterday led to the lynching of an obvious innocent sadden me greatly. I do not want to live in this accursed town any longer and I hope you will end my life quickly when it comes to it. I hope also that my innocene once proven might aid you remaining townsfolk in your quest to free the village of its curse. "Your time has come, Lazy McCrow!" shouted the Magistrate. "We know all about your terrible secret!"
"You do?" said Lazy, suddenly feeling quite nervous.
"Yes! I know what you've been doing at night! What you transform into! Don't think you can keep your true self hidden by such a superficial disguise! We all know what you truly are!"
"I knew you'd find out eventually." Lazy McCrow stood before the crowd, resigned to his fate. "I've wanted to show you this for a long... long time."
"Everyone, stand back!" roared Askthepizzaguy, aiming his blunderbuss at Lazy.
"This is what I truly am. Look, and be horrified!" Lazy said as he began to change....
"Oh my Lord!" shouted the farmer's daughter, as she fainted. Some of the menfolk turned away in horror. Several of the women just shook their heads in bewilderment.
"Yes, it's true. I'm not actually LazyMcCrow." said Lazy, as he stripped of his suit and pants in front of everyone.
"I am actually..... a woman!"
Beneath the men's attire, there was a frilly blouse and knickers. Lazy McCrow was actually a girl. And with a solid couple of handfuls at that.
"Dear God, it's hideous! Kill it!" someone shouted.
Askthepizzaguy just shook his head at LacyMcCrow, aimed his weapon, and hesitated for a moment.
"Come and get it, boys!" said LacyMcCrow, winking creepily.
Askthepizzaguy fired the blunderbuss. It was just too awkward to be allowed to continue.
*BLAM*
They still had no idea whether or not Lacy was a Darkling. But she was dead, and that's what mattered to this lynch mob.

Zack was in his home, getting ready for a good night's sleep. Without warning, the bedroom window smashed open and a large figure entered, carrying an axe. Zack yelled for help but he was soon cornered, and beheaded in the most ruthless fashion.
Edse approached the house, quietly sneaking through the brush in the back to be unseen. To his surprise, the back door was unlocked, so he let himself in.
He heard inhuman noises coming from the kitchen, so he made his approach, trying not to make a sound.
What he saw was ghastly. There was a human torso on the kitchen floor, and it was being consumed by Ishmael, whose eyes glowed red as he messily masticated the sinewy entrails of some unlucky chap.
"Ishmael, what in the name of God Almighty are you doing?"
Ishmael looked up from his bloody, uncooked human flesh meal, and bared his teeth. Edse turned and ran out of the house, as Ishmael followed, roaring madly. It was all Edse could do to escape from the house in one living piece.

I find it somewhat suspicious that I go insane/get possessed/whatever the very night that I am first visited. I'm pretty sure this is the first night that I've been possessed, as I only received a PM to that effect from the host this phase. Tentative FoS: edse.

Notice how it never says who's house it is.
I was just reading through the past night write-ups, and I believe that was the first outright killing at night. It might be White_Eyes' proposed psychotic lover, but s/he was lynched two day phases ago. I can't think of anything else that would have changed it though.
Someone being inactive. Maybe someone using an alternate power.

I don't think edse is mafia. I visited his house last night, and he seemed fine. He could still be mafia, of course, but I'm not so sure.
I'm not really sure who to vote for. Perhaps the reason I'm coming off as a lurker is that I don't really have much of a what the mafia even are or if they even are players, what with the infected people and everything. Voting for a lurker would be hypocritical, so I'll wait for a little while.
Well, that writeup looks bad for Ishmael, but I think it's most likely that the darkling(s) work through possession. And maybe two people appear in the writeup to cast doubt on both of them. Makes me wonder if the darkling(s) give two names in their orders. Spreading misinformation to save your skin would fit in with the genre. So I think I'll go back through the writeups and see how many people have not been mentioned.
What the...now a kill in the write up, is that white_eyes' lover (Vig/SK) or a darkling (mafia) hit?
And now Ishmael is eating human, what is up with that. Is he possessed (or whatever) or is he a darkling? What a weird game.
I think I need to check the write ups and my notes again. Back later to vote.

I think I have it narrowed down to this list of people who have not been mentioned in a writeup. If my theory is correct and the two people mentioned in the writeup are the two who would be killed if it were normal mafia, then the rest should be in the clear. No promises on that though, it is a ATPG game after all. :bow:
