Yea, mostly small stuff but its a bunch of things. For transparency here is the list!

- not giving a read on sheep push on you

- villareading benneh for 4 posts about cats (with the same strength as bop who was objectively more villagery imho)

- syn read felt a bit weird cause i dont feel bop alignment should have mattered much?

- saying newcomb had made some game related post bit not reading them and instead going to sleep. This 1 is a bit silly but as a villager idt i could have helped myself from reading them lol

okay lets go point by point

1) just talked about that

2) I disagree bop was more villagery, i think bop's game related stuff was pretty whatever, and my villa reads on both of them were purely tone/interaction based, and because the interactions were with each other, i put them in the same tier.

(i think benneh is more villagery now but thats besides the point.)

3) the timing of the read syn gave felt right in the thread, I remember agreeing with it as I read it and felt it was a villagery thought, but obviously if i have a villa read on bop by the time i'm putting pen to paper about the read, that will color how strong my read on syn is because I now think its a wolf read on a villager. Plus syn's read was literally just a one sentence read on page 2 or whatever, it would have never gotten more than light villa read anyways.

4) /shrug emoji/ oh well. I did actually end up reading them on my phone while in bed but they weren't worth another post and tbh i was falling asleep in my comp chair while writing the reads post so my brain was just too fried to process those.


I don't think any of these should be real sticking points in your mind tbh.

maybe the sheep one i guess, but me not giving a read on sheep is probably more villa indicative of me than anything else i've done, because i would absolutely have made something up there if I was a wolf because i knew people would expect me to have a read on sheep

Something bugged me about your "I promise I will avoid walls" stance, felt like a possible copout because I think that's one of the things you'd have the hardest time faking (which is part of why I thought it could have been a pre-written stance). I sometimes try to be a better town player based on the sharp reading I see in your games but then I'm in a game and think like "how do I do that thing now where i just wolfread all the wolves" and I fail to see the same stuff you have been seeing.

Yeah sorry about that I kinda went into that post wolf reading Rask then read his ISO and then started kinda town leaning him and editing stuff mid post on phone was hell.

Before this game he told me he really didn't want to rand wolf, and from that I expected him to avoid thread, which I initially thought he was doing. But then I read his ISO and his vibes was more like "I'm busy F you". My meta on him is that as wolf rask in general tends to force reads through d1, especially when he doesn't have proper time, and he's not this game, hence I concluded that he's probably just town here.

Not a lock, but a vibe.

I wouldn't say he's low energy, just low posting that I initially misread as low energy.

Does that make more sense?

The problem I had with the sheep post was he put so much effort into explaining himself to newcomb and my own approach would be like, im just gonna write one line and expect newcomb to understand me perfectly so I had the idea he felt like, the need to try super hard to convince newcomb of something, but also I kinda liked bennehs tr on him then later on and i have no idea why sheep talked so much about his perspective there if im being real.

knights reaction to ladd feels a little bit how i'd probs react too (and in fact did in the Pokemon hydra game on MU) so it kinda vibes towny to me.

I feel like insomnia specifically TR arctic a bit too easily? For making a convoluted post? Because Arctic is like, a good wolf in my eyes? I feel like he'd have no effort writing this as a wolf?

My memory isn't great but in my head you kind of omgus'd me for not dropping you/Hally out of my PoE during most of the game (then I called w!Hally town and got yeeted so go me). I recall it as a fun day phase during the day I was yeeted though, especially due to my interactions with you, so no hard feelings regardless of if I remember it wrongly or not! I can't help but wonder if that is like a preemptive statement to keep benneh in PoE this time while discouraging being wolfread for it.

I also don't know why you shrug off Maples d1 posts as NAI on principle so quickly. Is that something you truely believe like can you explain what you think is gonna happen or change later on with regards to his alignment? I mean he is an avid shitposter but he made a read already so I feel like we might not be going into a unreadable-trajectory here?

If I were wolfing against this player list I would probably be SUPER intimidated but that is not the case so I can just relax.

I was in the middle of an EXTREMELY tense f5 as final wolf which is why I may have been a bit preoccupied.

My entrance wasn't exactly un-influenced as a result but it was not from this game or the PL at all.

It's not but I can see what you mean. It's just that I can't force read people, it's not just Benneh (I pretty much have the same approach to Insomnia). I'll get there when I get there, pretty much. It's not as much of a "I won't try to read you" as "I don't really have a read on you yet and I don't really expect me to learn how to find you in this game".

"Truly believe" depends on how literal you wanna be. I think everyone's always doing AI stuff all the time and the game is about finding and understanding that on both a micro point and a macro point. But I have never been able to read Maple early on. I caught him once but it was for the wrong reasons (I was new and thought shit posting was wolfy and he just happened to wolf), then follow up with misreading him 5+ times after that so I'm just gonna wait until there's more information to work with - He's a wolf strategist and I think that my best chances of finding him is through that mindset. He was easy to interact with earlier, but it wasn't game related, so most likely NAI.
