'You did good... My attack on you was a little "how will he respond when being really preassured".
Having been mafia 3 times (3-0.. ok the last time was just a conversion), I know what is at stake. You don't want to loose. '
Yeah, I did screw up in the chat when I accepted that my original score was a 9 (it was actually an 8, but I'd assumed that maybe Ichigo was skill 6 or something, not a 4). I should have just continued with the 10 thing.
I've always figured that role-claiming as mafia is setting yourself up for a lynch next round when you can't back it - I currently think the most effective way is just to shrug off suspicions and refute them with a couple of lines when neccessary. I was mainly using sheer posting bulk to attack others, which really puts them on the defensive and sort of removes you from the limelight. Kommodus and Stig both picked up on this (good job). I was also planning on putting the final vote on myself after the suicides, but I thought I only had five votes at the time, not six.
The other thing I've noticed is that it's fairly easy for the mafia to steer the discussion. TS lost for the town eventually, but really if the town had made full use of their options, we'd have been in more trouble. We did sort of try to stifle them by killing anyone involved in a protection that we couldn't predict, but if we'd taken out Pann earlier (as one of my co-mafiosi suggested) we'd have won the game with no trouble whatsoever in the later stages.
