Re: [Council of Villains] A State of Corruption [In play]
And why did Samus not attack this phase?
Did somebody roleblock someone?
Or maybe it was that certain somebody, who I specifically told not to move an inch during the night, by the order of Pizzaguy's Last Will and Testament?
.....
By the way, does anyone know whether or not Samus belongs to the Bowser Corruption team?

It makes sense if she does. From what ATPG was saying in thread, it seems like Beskar revealed to him that he knew samus, and if Samus isn't on that team, we've got a third anti-town faction.

That makes sense, thank you Mister pever .
Looking through the updates, it seems as if the Team which used the Red text had two kills, just like the Phazon Corruption had Two Kills until the Dark Hunter died.
But if the Bowser Corruption Team had two kills per night, why did they only use one tonight?

Was that a kill, or a failed recruitment?

I typed in "Hyuk hyuk hyuk mario" in google and it came up with a guy named Grubba.
Don't know why he was floating though.

I think roleblokcs in KT were announced, but I'm not sure, so Samus could have just been inactive.

Wait, wouldn't that mean Pikachu is on team Phazon?

ATTENTION MR. PIKACHU how about we work out a deal with you tonight. If pevergreen is lying then he's Samus mafia. If he's telling the truth he's a townie Hero. Either way you benefit from his death. Can you please zap him tonight with your vuwwy duwwy electric kiss?
Asking scum to kill someone who told you they were a town power role with no evidence to the contrary? Maybe it's just me, but I don't see any way that can be right.
My mafia senses are tingling...

Are hero's power roles or are they just townies that don't have a specific alignment(GF or IDFH)? If that's an obvious answer then I just must be stupid or not paying attention :P
If you think Yaro's mafia why no vote?

Pikachu can't learn friggin Ice Beam. I'd have let you get away with Hyper Beam considering the Phazon, but not Ice Beam. Shame on you, Chaotix!

That's no excuse for not playing the Thousand Year Door, though.

Once I manage to find a PAL version of the original, I'll play it.
You know, I bought the Prima strategy guide for Paper Mario. Never played the actual game. Was never sold here.

Hero's are pro town roles that need all anti-town forces to die in order to win. Hero's still win even if dead, unlike survivalists. At least that's my understanding of the role. Some have suggested that hero's can't be recruited but I don't know if that is true or not. It would make sense since they belong to their own faction. As far as my vote is concerned, I want to hear Jarema speak before deciding between the two.

Re: [Council of Villains] A State of Corruption [In play]
I remember in the very beginning, I thought pevergreen behaved rather odd.. that is compared to how he behaved in the starwars. There he was so very secure of himself and in his own mind it appeared that every of his moves were perfect.. In this game he was not at all so outspoken and seemed a lot more careful .. I spoke a bit with ATPG about it some days ago, but he thought it was juts because pevergreen had a power role in the starwars game, that he behaved like that, iirc.
anyway I will place my vote on pevergreen for now
Vote: pevergreen

Re: [Council of Villains] A State of Corruption [In play]
Looking at the last writeup, I'm not certain anymore that the N1 kill of Reenk was performed by Shadow Peach (Beskar).
Reenk Roink kill (Night 1)
A shadowy figure with red eyes using a chill (cold) attack.
Sasaki Kojiro kill (Night 2)
A woman with red eyes who was burning hot and launched twin fireballs.
Winston Hughes kill (Night 3)
Princess Peach produced fireballs....
Last Night's attack on Roll Casket (Night 4)
"she saw the shadowy figure with glowing red eyes floating in the air"
N2 and N3 have similarities (fireballs).
N1 and N4 also have similarities (shadowy figure, red eyes).
But the N2 writeup also mentioned red eyes.
Anyway, Autolycus wrote that he wasn't convinced Beskar made the two kills (N1 & N2) and I find myself agreeing more with that, after last night.

Re: [Council of Villains] A State of Corruption [In play]
Here's what I figure to be the case on Jarema, from the game thread:
1455 Pizza asks Jarema to answer his PM, without giving more details.
1458 Frozen in Ice votes for Jarema to pressure him.
1459 Skooma votes for Jarema without giving a reason.
1461 Pizza explain that he got a scan result on Jarema and asked Jarema for clarifications.
1464 Skooma explains that he find Jarema scummy because he voted for ATPG while saying that Insanious was a good lynch choice (this may be an over simplication of Skooma's reasoning).
1534 Choxorn find Jarema scummy, but does not say why.
1550 Seon send an ultimatum to Jarema.
1554 Seon asks Jarema what he was doing at night.
1582 Diamondeye votes Jarema, no reason given.
1583 Beefy votes Jarema, no reason given.
In a nutshell: Pizza got a "scan result" of Jarema on Night 3, asked for clarifications but (I'm guessing) Jarema refused to comply.
Not much of a case. Refusal to answer a question, no matter who asked (SK Pizza or Townie Seon), is not enough to lynch someone, depending on the circumstances. The evidence, in this case, is lacking details.
We need more information, mainly about the scan result. Was it a Thermal Vision or something else?
I'm also interested to hear what Jarema had to say in private, what reasons he gave when he refused to answer. Above all, I'd like to hear Jarema in the game thread.

A dead confirmed pro-town, attempting to organise the town, acts differently to a townie?
Egads man!

Re: [Council of Villains] A State of Corruption [In play]
I'm sure Beskar and TinCow would like us to believe recruitment is possible, worrying about it all the time, but we have yet to see evidence of it. From my point of view, recruiting would be too easy if each mafia team could recruit in their respective pool (Bowsers-GF and Phazon-IDFH). If it's possible, there has to be mechanics to make it harder.
But I can't be bothered with recruiting until I know it's there.
And stay in your coffins, evil peoples! :annoyed:
