Yes, when you've chosen avatar you will get to choose where to start, so don't worry about where it is. You will need EB 1.1 though; 1.1 saves are incompatible with 1.2 AFAIK.
Edit: by the way, I just realized that I'm going on vacation to Bornholm next week, so I will be unavailable for a while then. I hope we can have our little battle before that CDf.
Just checked and I still have 1.1 on my computer. I'll install it to my extra copy of RTW...
we shall see we Might have our epic battle before said vacation but I am not sure how we will be able to finish it
Will we ever see that "Mighty battle" between TCV and CDf?
Also, will you two fight it via multiplayer or will you choose tabletop option?
I would of course love an MP battle, but I'm not sure. I'm not overconfident in my laptop's abilities, but we may try first and see - if any problem arises, we'll simply have to do it tabletop style.

Well, Sarpedon is marching out and so am I. I think we may have to do a table top, my army has about 27 units. as soon as the next turn starts we are going to have quite the battle

Yes both I and Mini are in the Edessa region. though If TCV is there to I think he may have had to leave behind his Hypaspistai (they were pretty far south in the province of Antioch, I don't think they could get to Edessa this turn.)
I didn't enter Edessa's region, no, and my hypaspistai are with me. They weren't that far from Antiocheia, really, though it doesn't matter - I wouldn't have made it to Edessa's region even if I had left them behind.

TCV, What unit are you missing? I didn't see any unattached units the whole time I was moving you and your army north and I didn't break your army up on any of those marches. Could they have been left behind in Egypt before I was chancellor. Because I only remember moving your Hypaspistai into Alexandreia before the CP incident. And did you put Antiocheia on automanage? I saw that it was after I saved for this turn. Unless you order otherwise, I'm going to put it back to normal before I end the turn.
I don't know, but it doesn't really matter, I guess. In any case, no, I didn't do that and wouldn't do that. It must have been set automatically.

CDf, how did you grab a unit of mercs whenthe treasury is @ -188? WTF did you do to my finances? I need a detailed accounting, including any console additions, cause otherwise this will screw everything.
Yes, they will join the fight on your side since you own Syria. A battle near Seleukeia or Babylon would've been a bit more difficult for you. ~:)Quote:

which it is. My treasury has gone down by quite a lot due to this little war. but when I see all of those archers raining death down and forcing TCV to charge I will know it was all worth it!
