Welcome to our ranks, new one
Ah, but Andres, were you not claiming to have the best interests of the town at heart, or did that offer expire when we killed you?
And no one recruits from the dead besides me. *eats Andres*
OK, I keep forgetting the drunk guys. Tristan de Castelreng wandered about the town, cursing the plebeians.
Why are the servants of Vode compelled to tell us how doomed we are?
Do I sense a nervous atmosphere among their ranks?
What will the host do If we do not vote at all? Will he use the fair random.org to off one of the living?
Let's play a game of chicken. Let's see if we can fracture the coolness of the Mafia.
Quite the contrary Sigurd. Town investigation is being conducted in a most pleasing manner. It pleases the townies, and it pleases Vode. :)
Reenk, when you post the end scene you better not be like "Commentary coming in a week or so", that's all I have to say.
Im thinking its Seamus...
I encourage people to vote for seamus!
Gentleman, I feel that we have been played
That from the narrow path we have all strayed.
I vote: Yoyoma because
He now doth not like our laws
And a pleading message from many days.
Seamus came up clean.

hmm, I'd say go with the no lynch option then (just don't vote anybody). Can't do any harm now, can it?
Could result in a draw or a hidden win condition for the usurpers.
Maybe the Priest king gets agitated or OsiOsi comes down and annihilates everyone.
I think that if there is one Vode agent remaining, we should find them or we risk a draw after all this. Unless you're happy with a draw.
I disagree.
I think this was proposed while you were still a little AWOL, but before you stabbed yourself in the gut. I just checked the rules and it says it's all up to Priest-King Roink as to whether or not someone will be lynched - whether Abstain votes are in the majority or not. I think it was established in the last couple of turns (?), that someone would go to the gallows each day no matter what the tally was...
In any case, let's look at the suspects:
Shinseikhaan is an inscrutable poet.
Lord Winter - there has been some suspicion on him, but - other than a lower than average contribution, as far as quantity is concerned, I can't think of any reason why he would be anything other than what he says he is.
Psychonaut - from contributions - his reveal as the distributor of booze sits well with me. I imagine Psychonaut would have been far more active if he had a role with any dangerous power to it - town or mafia.
boudica - me
Ichigo - No idea if the guy is alive or dead. Mash the keyboard if you need medical attention ol' fella and pray someone has your address.
Whether investigative power is effective or not seems irrelevant at this stage as far as our priest Yoyoma is concerned: If he is a mafia then he has repeatedly done a deliberate disservice to his cause with the string of Usurper lynches - not to mention the stringing up of a chaos demi-god - following his clinical detective work. If Yoyoma is mafia it is either a sketchy plan - or a skin crawlingly-audacious plan - that finds him in this endgame scenario...
Tristan de Castelreng - apparently investigated and innocent by the living-god Pisuf - but I don't remember seeing a role - can we have a look again please Tristan? or a link to it would be useful. There was talk of vote tampering, which sounds fairly harmless, in that it seems like a simple role to add some spice to the game, but I wouldn't want to be going up against a vote tamperer who had something to hide. Maybe I've missed some vital post exhonorating you Tristan, but right now I am more suspicious of you than anyone else because I don't feel comfortable with what remains unrevealed about him. Reenks addition to the write-up:
"OK, I keep forgetting the drunk guys. Tristan de Castelreng wandered about the town, cursing the plebeians. "
seems pretty throw-away (he forgot to put the fact that Psychonaut obviously blocked Tristan in the main write-up)... but then maybe Reenk wouldn't want to point the finger too directly at the only Usurper left without a night-kill ability to boot. There definitely needs to be some cooperative answers coming from the 'Pleb-Curser', as the only other suspect left is our ruddy cheeked, wool-huggin' mason friend:
Seamus. Personally I believe his innocence. He has probably forgotten what his initial victory condition was by now. If you can't remember what it was Seamus; it was to secure the doom of Beefy the Tax Collector and ensure that your mason partner remained silent throughout the course of the game - no matter how many questions people found themselves compelled to ask him.
I shall vote: Tristan until a response is forth-coming. Anyone who has a problem with plebians, has a problem with me.
Hey, he's a good man. We are entitled to cursing the plebs all we want. ...Stupid mother :daisy: plow-user peasent.
There is merit in the idea of going for a majority abstain vote. The Vode agent can't kill, so if the town refuses to lynch anyone else, he can't whittle us down any further. The rules specifically say that Reenk will decide what happens if abstain gets the majority. While that could be something bad, it could also be something good. It's worth a try at least once IMO.
However, if you must lynch someone, it might as well be Yoyoma. Vode specifically said that he was the eyes of the remaining person. Yoyoma claims to be the Eye of OsiOsi. Perhaps this is a cover role for the Eye of Vode (double cover role?). Or, perhaps Yoyoma got coverted to Vode, since we know he's already been corrupted once. Maybe instead of returning to OsiOsi when he was 'released' from his conversion to Pisuf, he went over to Vode. Since investigations are pretty much useless now, this is enough for me to start thinking that he's the best choice.
In my opinion, it's immoral to persecute someone who isn't doing you any harm, based solely on their religion. Especially with an inaccurate system of handing out justice!
Hah, you all need to appreciate me a little bit more now. :laugh4:
This from a man who changes his name like dirty diapers.
Y'all lynch me if you want. From what I can tell, though, I'm being accused of pulling a 'Khaan by, well, 'Khaan. And, quite frankly, that's not really my style. I don't really have time to keep doing this, and I don't really care about winning for myself. But I know some of you likely do, and you all deserve to win if possible, so I'm still going.
Anyway:
Vote:Khaan
A) Who wouldn't want to convert him to their side.
B) Things are just too quiet.
C) I just don't trust him.
D) I'd imagine whoever was converted was likely already investigated.
Lazy buggers come crashing into the wall... :smartass2:
You should have done as I did in my last Midgard saga. Keep a commentary running while you host, then when the game ends, you only have a few paragraphs left to add. Violá, you have a commentary within hours.
Vote: yoyoma
The investagation results are obviously flawed, thus at best we can kill off one more scum where at worse we merely get rid of an irrelevent role.
Hmmm, Lord Winter's statement doesn't sit well with me. They way it is written is tweaking my intuition.
Lots of things have happened over the last couple of weeks. All of them weren't very good or pleasant for me. It's been fairly rough and that's why I've been absent for a while. I'll try to catch up but it's unlikely I will. Sorry RR.
The taunts from Jolt and now Andres, does not sit well with me.
Jolt's taunts are claiming we will never guess who it is.
Andres claims a new reqruit has emerged.
Why would they do this? I would personally keep as much as possible a secret. If we would for a second believe they play as good as me ;) there are no new player and the remaining culprit would be obvious.
'khaan would be my lynch choice this round. He obviously needs someone dead this round. The logical choice this round would be a no lynch to see what that would do. But if someone has to go it would be 'khaan.
I was thinking along the same lines, Sigurd...
What if those taunts were meant to have us at each other's throats when in fact there is no scum left, or none that matters (no kill potential) ?
For that reason, I'll Vote : Abstain.
Better be safe than sorry...
And @ Boudica : if you want to know more about my role PM, contact me by PM and we'll see where we can go from there...
I only asked for your role pm as I think pretty much everyone else has revealed or been investigated/revealed at some point in the game, but I don't recall seeing yours. I also agree that an abstain vote would be preferable - at least for one day, to see how the Priest-King judges things ... (Maybe he's just setting us up for a sequel:inquisitive:), but as it stands, Yoyoma already has votes on him and (assuming he is innocent as I suspect) I don't think he deserve the lynch for the reasons I stated in my analysis above. Although I am suspicious of 'Khaan's vote on him, I understand it: 'Khaan can either see some guilt in Yoyoma that I can't - or he just wants this to be done and dusted. As you seem to have something to hide as regards the vote tampering; until you are more honest with us (and by that I mean with all of us in the thread, I don't see how a PM conversation would help matters??), or the votes come back off Yoyoma: My vote stays with you.
No! No, you MUST lynch this round or the Vode-Iffo alliance will go down and we will lose. Please, townies, dig your own graves and lynch somebody.
